I came here after a dental visit at Minty Dental Boutique because I had time to kill. It's nice in here. The chairs and tables are far enough so you're not eavesdropping on other customers' tables, and there's a nice view outside if you want to people watch or look toward traffic. I only stayed about 20 minutes, long enough to eat an Impossible breakfast sandwich and potato quiche with hot cocoa (yum!), but the three baristas I conversed with were cool too. No complaints. Generally, I am happy If I don't have to wait more than 5-7 minutes in a Starbucks to get my order. At that point I think it is a success and I don't really have to brag about how great it was, but today I do!! I was in and out of this Starbucks in about 5 minutes total and it was AMAZING! On 7th of this month Starbucks was giving out red reusable cups for free with orders of certain beverages. I struggled with whether or not to buy it since the beverages are all over 400 calories!!! I have been to and ordered from Starbucks in every neighborhood I have been in and almost every city I have visited. With the exception of the negative news that plagued Starbucks in 2018, I have never had any complaint for Starbucks service, food or beverages. However, today, I am truly irritated. I ordered their pastrami sandwich and Latte. The serving of pastrami was so minimal that I removed one slice of bread and folded the other piece of bread in half. This Starbucks is usually very busy, the spacing is cramped, the parking lot has almost as much conflict as Colombo street traffic. A dangerous proportion of automobile drivers in this lot are apparently hunting for bicyclists with homicidal lust. Often the whole store is taken up by a line, it's not a great place to try to get some work done. But if you've got a coffee jones around here, it's your only port in the proverbial storm. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STARBUCKS! This is the WORST Starbucks in the country folks. I don't care what time of day I have subjected myself to this place, the service is SO SLOW I could swear that they are literally milking a cow and filtering it to make my non-fat latte. The place smells HORRIBLE - which is strange b/c most coffee joints smell great - and some of the employees seem to be extremely hard of hearing because they often give me the wrong pastry or forget to give it to me and I have to repeat my order three times (maybe this explains the length of time stuck in this Starbucks and the lack of parking?). It is nothing but painful and a black eye on the Starbucks chain, and every time I have made the mistake of going here I literally want to punch myself in the eye because I end up missing my train, showing up late for an appointment, missing that chance encounter with now single male model Gabriel Aubry - you get the picture ... I stop by Sunday mid afternoon and had a good experience. The guy at cashier wasn't the most friendly person. But the barista she totally was so nice & very helpful. I asked about a Pike roast coffee she really nice & so knowledgeable & offer a sample which tasted so good. One thing I would suggest if you coming east down Peterson turn at the light rather than off Peterson. Avoid in the weekday/am when an employee named Ardyn is working. She is rude, flippant, and has a severe attitude. She is a barista and always gets behind on orders. She backs up the orders in the morning and then gets rude with the customers when after waiting 15 minutes they inquire about their orders. Very disappointing. read more

So I drink my fair share of coffee and have certainly been a many Starbucks! This location I have always found to be quick, and have had great service. In the summer they have outdoor seating, which is there in the winter but not as many seats. They have moved furniture around on the inside a few times but it is cozy and good place to sit and chat in the neighborhood or go and do work if you want a quiet place. The spot itself is in a little lot where parking is free. I live in the neighborhood, so I see the people often and it is nice to have a place that is walking distance and one that I have certainly always had good service and even when I have asked them to do something off menu they were more than happy. In fact most of their staff that have waited on me have been polite and even funny sometimes! They do have great customer service something that I think is very important! read more

This has to be one of the most unfriendly starbucks that I Have ever Experienced. the girls that work in there love to roll their eyes and make Fun of customers. the employees seem to have a low morale and you Are treated like a second class citizen. My wife and I live in Sauganash Village right next door, and literally drive to the Pulaski Lawrence or Devon central store to get our coffee. WiFi has reliable speed and doesn't seem to take any performance hits by the number of people logged in.
