There are a couple of shops where you can get your coffee or refreshers along Orange Ave, Coronado but I preferred stopping here at Starbucks. It's probably the timing when I come here seems to be everything is smooth, easy to order and I get my drink fast and I'm always lucky their Outdoors are always plenty of space to sit on, very nice outdoor sitting. Inside has a good number of tables too. Our drinks are always prepared nicely here whether Hot or Cold. My wife always likes using her Stanley for a personal cup when ordering her drink and we see they really care about our personal cups. So far I have never encountered a bad customer or experienced anything here. Spacious enough inside and outside sitting. Parking is mostly my only Issue here, it's side street parking, and most of the time I had to make a few rounds before getting a spot. read more

I was in town to run the Silver Strand Half Marathon. I stopped in here for a pre-race coffee. I got my usual grande blonde vanilla latte. Per the usual, I placed my order on their mobile app to earn some stars. The wait for my drink was very minimal. The quality of my drink was on par with any other Starbucks that I've visited. Folks seem to be hatin' at this Starbucks. It is in the heart of tourist traffic - so it's going to be super crowded in the summers and steady traffic during the winters. first of all, we ordered a Venti drink, the worker consistently messed it up when we went to go pick up our order. It was in a grande. We asked " Belley" if this is our correct drink, she proceeds to give us a nasty look, says, " You payed for a grande... ". when we asked for a venti. she threw the drink agressively in the sink, remade it, and slammed it on the counter. I've visited many Starbucks locations, and this is the only one that refused to give me water unless I made a purchase, even when I offered to pay or use my own flask. Other locations provide water for free or for a small fee, so this inconsistency is confusing and disappointing. I hope Starbucks can create a clear, consistent policy across all stores. read more

They had 3-4 people working but only 1 person helping customers. The other employees were busy closing during operation hours. There was a long line of customers coming in but none were given attention. We all just watched these employees take away the food and displays and empty trash cans. Thanks to Starbucks for having these cold drinks . Every summer I always get Migraine attacks. And at home , I always have my AC on to 65 degrees every summer and I dont mind paying big electric bills just to avoid the summer heat and migraines. When I go out during the summer I always need to know where the nearest Starbucks locations are so I can run to it and have their good cold drinks. If you go during school hours it's fine. Your typical crowded Starbucks. But if you go after 3pm, the place is over run with ill behaved, rude kids. This week i witnessed a trio of cocky, over privileged middle school boys brazenly taunting a man on the patio, throwing trash all around moving all the chairs. Two people from the patio went to complain but nothing was done. One gentleman finally stood up and told the boys to leave to which they did after about 5 minutes. The 5 stars is for Andres' great customer service. We visited this location on 06/19/21 in the early morning around 6:50am. Andres was very kind, customer friendly and answered all of our questions about pastries and a new drink that we saw on the menu. As a gold club card Starbucks Rewards Member, I often do not see any difference in how I am treated from location to location. This experience was definitely positively different. I will surely go back to experience the great customer service that Andres offers. The location is fully stocked with items and has an open and clean look. read more

My sister and I walked here two days in a row staying at the Marriott Resort a mile away. Both times they got our orders correctly, friendly staff and as busy as they were not a long wait. When you pay the price of Starbucks then you should get a full container of the drink you bought. I don't care if the explanation is that you get what you paid for or the tea was extra cold so it looks like there's less. But if you order a Grande sized drink then it should be filled to the top of that container. If I'm buying a Grande ice tea with extra ice it's already filled up by extra ice so at least fill the tea to the top. I don't blame the person making it following the rules but I blame the rule. I never complain about my drink and when I do I get told I got what I paid for which I guess is two inches of air at the top of my container. I guess I needed to order a Grande tea with no ice then an extra order of side of ice, but I hate wasting plastic. Definitely won't go to this location for tea despite its convenience. read more

This place is actually a pretty big Starbucks that I have ever been in except for Downtown Disney. It's pretty spacious and has a lot of seats so you'll find somewhere to sit at. The line was unfortunately a bit long and took a while but there were many events going on today so it was understandable. One of the workers kept apologizing and appreciating us waiting in the line, which was kind of her to say. She was very enthusiastic and energetic even though she mentioned she was exhausted from her shift. The drinks were made well and it came out pretty fast regardless of how busy it was there. I was pretty satisfied with the service they provided. I love how spacious the place was and so coming to this Starbucks was really nice to go to and relax for some quick iced tea or coffee. read more

I feel kind of strange reviewing a Starbucks because it's a chain and I prefer to frequent locally-owned small businesses. But this location is worth it! It's really great, honestly. I like the layout, plenty of space to work remotely and lots of outlets to charge your laptop! Drinks always turn out exactly how I'd expect them to, and service is consistently friendly. I took one star off only because my WFH schedule seems to keep me going at the same time that the local high school or middle school lets out. The entire place floods with teenagers, and they definitely don't mind taking up your personal space It's fine though! I was in high school once, and I liiiived for those after school trips to Starbucks with my friends. I stopped by this Starbucks in Coronado over the weekend. I was in the area for the day and I needed an afternoon pick-me-up. The place is nice inside and it feels pretty open. There's seating out in the front so you can people watch and also a few tables inside. It looks like a nice place to read a book or get some work or studying done. Not a bad Starbucks, but you have to be ready for lines, because I have to admit this was one of the most busiest Starbucks I have visited. I stopped in for some hot tea, a snack, and to get some work done via their WiFi. I ordered a green herbal tea and a Mountain Berry Bar. I asked them to acquire me a new Mountain Berry Bar from the back because the one in the display had a stand sitting on top of it. Actually, the whole counter could of used some tightening up. It looked like they go slammed hard. The tea arrived popping hot and was good. I had to let it sit for a bit before I started to enjoy it. It was typical in flavor with a nice relaxing and soothing flavor. The Mountain Berry Bar made from Acai Berries was good too. The little buttery crumble on top was nice and the berry inside was silky and sweet. The bar went well with the hot tea. Although the lines were long, the employees kept things moving along. It got a little crazy at times, figuring out what belong to who, but in the end it all worked out. Run down and FILTHY. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of service. Not even great or even good coffee, but the barista knowing everyones names, singing, getting everyone engaged in the café with whatever he was doing. That was so nice to see, a sense of community/local hangout. Lots of folks reading the paper, working on laptops, runners in after their workouts, etc. How the island was when I lived there, but holy cow was the café a mess. Lots of employees behind the counter, most seemed to be working as fast as the line was, but there is a great need for a floater for the café. They certainly can afford it both mornings we were in for coffee for our stay. Also maybe need a retrain on timing and measurements.
