When I walked in on a very quiet Sunday the older lady Valerie was admonishing the younger girls for using her register instead of staying on their own. Being in an a upset mood she immediately took it out on me. *As usual* this location has no sugar-free mocha, which is necessary to make the sugar-free mocha latte that I enjoy the most. Rather than explain to me the nearest thing that could be made similar to the drink I like, Valerie, still probably mad at her co workers, was very short with me instead and it took more than a few back-and-forth exchanges for me to explain that all I want is something similar to a sugar-free mocha. I almost walked out in the midst of our conversation. I understood what was going on, that she was transferring her anger at her co-workers on to me, but that's not my problem. All I want is some coffee that doesn't have loads of sugar in it. Been reluctant to visit this drive thru because I like the Starbucks next to my home. One close to home I frequent is solid and great customer service. Unfortunately, had to settle for this spot and it was ok. Nothing better than ordering one thing and getting something different. Not a total wonderful experience and was disappointing but it happens. Ordered soy vanilla bean frapp with no whip and a chorizo sandwhich. This Starbucks is just down the street from my house, however I will drive further to another location. This Starbucks is notorious for messing up my drink orders. When bringing it to the attention of the employees, I feel that they could care less. The drinks just taste different here. I will order my favorite drink here and every time it has tasted dull compared to another location I visit weekly. I suppose they need more training. I visited this location earlier this week and I asked for my latte to be extra hot. I received a luke warm drink. I brought it to their attention and they made me another one, but this time it was the incorrect drink. I told them just to refund my money. I came in today with my family for a quick coffee fix and my in-laws were having a hard time picking what they would like, not understanding the menu since they only speak Spanish. However a nice women (I didn't catch her name) was able to explain to them what the store offered and she helped them find a drink that they liked, in Spanish. I come here at least once a week and never have any issues. The staff is friendly, there is a decent amount of indoor/outdoor seating and my drink is always correct. The parking lot is a decent size and 99% of the time there are plenty of spots. One star off because 9 out of 10 times there is a mentally ill/homeless person inside doing something out of the ordinary like singing on top of their lungs or fighting with their inner demons out loud. Janet (she didn't have her name on display so I had to ask for her name) was taking drive thru orders. She was allowing other cars to cut us off even though we were already waiting in line?! We ignored it, but then when she was taking our order, she was incredibly rude, disrespectful and impatient. 3 of us in the car were going to order, but we were thinking about what to get. she asked us "are you still going to order??" Then we ordered 1 drink (out of 3) & she then said "that's it? ok & walked away from us" i spoke to the "manager" & he was just as rude as her. He didn't bother to try to make the situation better. Not enough light. customer service is OK but they don't ask you what size drink would you like and automatically give you a grande. Ugh I finally had found a drink I loved the peppermint mocha blended. This was the first time I tried this location since we moved to glendora on barranca and man it was the worst drink I ever had. Everyone here is always so nice and polite and patience. Whenever I come here I'm always satisfied. But the barista didn't even know how to make my order and honestly I don't either I just wanted to try something new but the stuff here aren't up to date with the common trend in this location. How I know that she didn't know how to do my order was because when I drove up the window she screamed to the top of her lungs " how in the world do a caramel cacoa frap". And to be honest I don't know how it taste but I do know how it looks and what she gave me was not what was on the picture. I went to this location for a Cascara and Egg Bites. 45 minutes later I get egg bites. Server was rude and no one cared. This happened twice and both times service was rude and took 45 minutes to get egg bites. Complaints to customer service didn't help. Lori the district manager doesn't care either and in fact after more than a month I'm still awaiting a phone call. 5 calls to customer service and requesting regional manager was refused. The case was escalated 3 times and no phone call.
