Dont go here unless you want a terrible customer service...A couple weeks ago after I got some gas from ralph I felt very thirsty but I was in a hurry for a meet up so I went through the drive and ask for a water.... As soon as I pulled up I said " can I have a trenta water ..." The girl took a while to respond... And when she said she said" since you're not buying anything we can only give you a small one..." What kind of talk is that??? Extremely disrespectul ; what about nurturing the humam spirit and assume the best in people??? This girl definately need an evaluation... This is the most convenient Starbucks near me, as it has a drive thru. However, they always seem to be out of everything. I find myself going to the target Starbucks across the street more often because they actually are stocked. This location was out of psl before thanksgiving and even said they wouldn't be ordering more. Out of caramel brûlée latee now and not ordering more. My breakfast sandwich was cold this morning. All in all this is one of my least favorite locations and considering there are so many, I probably won't be back. I'd rather just go to the target one even though I have to get out of my car. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for many, many years. I typically do mobile order so I just need to walk in and pick up. This location can get pretty busy during peak times, especially the drive thru which I never use because of the long lines. Overall, 95% of my visits have been great. On a rare occasion, my drink didn't taste as good as it usually does, the wait was long even with doing a mobile order or they just got the drink wrong or forgot it entirely. I would say that is pretty typical of most places to a degree. read more

So, I always give places the benefit of the doubt.. I will go two or three times before I judge the location( let's be honest, we are all judgy mcjudgers here on yelp).. I have worked as a barista for many years in my family's coffee shop and at another shop that is not a SBucks.. So I know the pressure and what it takes to be a good barista. The crud you deal with and the customers who are just plain nasty.. So, I come with full knowledge of how to handle all sorts of situations that come at you as a barista.... So, here's my take on this location.. For the love of all that is good.. Would it kill these folks here to at least pretend that they are happy to have a job?! Greeting people with a drab and very fake, "hi.. Welcome".. And then not smiling, not engaging in eye contact, and being generally "put out" that "GASP"! they have a customer, does not a good barista make. Humor us and at least pretend that you're happy to have customers, people! I will say that the Salted Carmel Mocha was pretty good.. Even though there was only one person ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get..And because it's so close to my house I may go back.. And I will always be the customer who smiles, and tips, and wishes the barista well.. Because I'm just that way. The one on Archibald is your better bet for customer service though.. read more

Stopped in here on our way to Vegas to "fuel up". There wasn't much of a line so we got our drinks right away and were able to get back on the road quickly. I always ask for non-fat milk in my iced lattes but I swear they used 2% or whole milk. One who uses skim can tell these things. I always come to this Starbucks but it's usually through the drive thru with no issues. However today I walked in because the line was extremely long. I walk in to no greeting which was odd because they noticed their usuals. When I was finally noticed I put in my order and waited. I was then notified that my usual bento Peach green tea was seasonal and not available. I said that's fine just make it as similar as possible. The drive-thru service is no different. The partners here are extremely pleasant and my drinks are always up to the Starbucks standard. I wish I could give all Starbucks in SoCal an overall review. I have not come across many Barista's that happily make my orders the way I like, without faces or looking annoyed. Also, too many Starbucks do not even greet you when you walk in the door the way they are trained to! I have even encountered walking all the way to the register and either not getting a greeting til maybe a minute or two later. (If i don't get greeted within a minute or two from walking in the door i usually leave- not just at Starbucks but any establishment). YOU ARE LOOSING CUSTOMERS. I remember when I was 16 ( back in 2006) and chose to work at Starbucks because of how crazy, energetic and happy all the baristas were. Sometimes they scared me walking in the door (I used to be shy & timid). The demeanor has changed so much, it needs to go back to the way it was years ago. One of the problems I encounter the MOST with my drinks is they don't stir/shake/melt (whichever way I ask) the raw sugar!! I don't think anyone wants to drink something and feel like they're chewing on sand. -.- Another is when the iced coffee isnt brewed correctly. You can really taste the difference! Please make sure your baristas are all trained well so customers can get consistent, good quality drinks. I just ask that shift leads and managers start setting better examples for how a Barista should treat their customers. Its a great place to work so act like it! Thanks. read more

I used to come here all the time and I mean everyday day in the morn and sometimes in mid-day, till they got a new manager. It seems she is about how many drinks she can pull in a day compared to quality of service. I've had several bad experiences at this location. I have been after the fact to allow them to redeem themselves to no avail. I always go though the drive thru only to have to park and have them correct my order. They also charged me $50 when I'd asked for a $15 gift card. My sister was very happy, I was not. Came here the other night for the first time for some pumpkin lattes. I went through the drive-thru and I was really impressed on how friendly the people were and how fast the service was. I go to this starbucks because it's the closest to my home if it wasn't I would not even go at all! I went today 7:30pm and I ordered through the drive thru a calm brewed tea and the lady tonight was not understanding. She explained that they have a calm tea but not brewed giving me a weird look, I thought to myself that doesn't make any sense? And I agreed to order the tea anyways. She hands me the tea and the tea is too hot to even drink or old in my hand. Worst Starbucks I've been to! I've given them multiple times to prove me wrong. On a Friday night I watched the drive thru guy hang out the window chat with his friends for, not kidding 6min, give them one drink, bump fists, then let them go. The line was huge! This same guy can't seem to figure out what's in stock or not, and has full on conversations with the staff while the mic is open, only to never tell me if they has a protein box or not!!! Whenever I ordered a HOT drink on the app, it they always make it iced (yes I know it's summer. But please read your orders! If it is supposed to say iced, it will indicate that and if it doesn't then it shouldn't be iced!!) also... if I tell a barista to give me a venti latte and add 3 shots... what does that mean, let's do math. Venti comes with 2 shots... now you ADD 3. 2+3=5 shots total. Don't freaking screw up my order and only give me 3 shots total and screw me over 2 less shots! Do you ppl know how to even read?! WTH. I've been a gold card member for as long as I can remember. I may spend at least $10 daily at this and other coffee shops. We own just about every mug and cold cup they sale from our travels. I have to say that we may be Starbuck's biggest fans. This Starbucks branch has changed since their remodel. The remodel has changed the local down home coffee shop ambience into a worldwide coffee chain snob cookie cutter shop. Before the remodel, you were always greeted with a smile and given a goodbye when leaving. When mistakes were made on a order, they would fix it immediately at no cost especially for those returning local patrons. The new management seems to be more concerned about the bottom line of making money then their local customers. We get better service at interstate exit rest-stop Starbucks. read more
