Unethical employees. I waited since 1am for the holiday bear cups merchandise launch. I was told everything will be displayed. Until, i saw the employee walk in at 4:30am and take off 3 bear cups off the shelf and leaving only 2 available. The service was not good, took several minutes for my order to be taken as I (only one in line) stood there with no acknowledgement (while several employees walked across counter). Usually at most other locations staff acknowledge you even when busy. That goes a long way. By the time my order was taken it felt rushed, I was asked "anything else" while I'm mid-sentence. Came to this Starbucks after attending an even in Fullerton in the morning. It is a small Starbucks in a busy area due to the college nearby. The seating inside and out is limited for the volume of sales they do, but the parking is plentiful if you don't mind taking a few extra steps. I actually mobile ordered from outside as I was holding a table in front of another store for some friends. Once they arrived I just popped in and picked up the beverage. They were running behind, but that is the name of the game on weekend Starbucks runs. Ordered a skinny peppermint mocha for my holiday beverage fix and it was good. Average Starbucks. WiFi speed is okay, fan on door is annoying when trying to take conference calls even if you're muted, okay on charging stations, parking situation is also just okay. It's an okay Starbucks. Nothing to oogle over. For Fullerton I'm surprised I could even get any sort of speed down around 13.8 Mbps (see attached speedtest result). The only reason this place gets 4 stars instead of 3 is because of their availability. For some reason there are no 24 hour Starbucks around town which makes late night studying next to impossible. However, this place opens at 4:30 AM and doesn't close until midnight. That is a selling point about this place. There are wireless charging ports on the big table as soon as you enter the store on the right hand side. However, there are limited power AC outlets to plug your laptop into which makes me scratch my head as to why Starbucks decided to open up in this location of all places. This is a pretty busy location but it's my favorite one to go to when I'm in the area, located on the bustling intersection of Chapman and State College near CSUF Shout out to Al for always coming through and helping me customize my elaborate drink orders (disclaimer: the drinks are not for me lol)when I order in-store, you the real MVP. I was elated to see my three favorite baristas who's unique blend of personalities make Starbucks what it is, specifically this location. Al: Al is fun, positive and always affirming. I can order the most complicated drink in the world, and unfortunately sometimes my drinks are a little bit more complicated, but Al is always up for the challenge along with a warm embrace of "Mateo!" As soon as I walk in. It's not just me either, he has a cognitive recall for names for regulars that is unmatched. Nick: Nick is always fun. He is a great person to have a conversation with while your drink is being made. He breaks the barrier between customer and barista and makes you feel like a friend. Rihanna: Last, but certainly not least, Rihanna is, simply put, amazing. I've been coming to this Starbucks for nearly 3 years, 5 days a week and she has never been anything less than bright, cheery, and optimistic. She always refers to me by name, as do Nick and Al, and her cheerfulness is infectious. I could be having the worst day, I walk in and her smile and cheerful disposition which is even apparent while wearing a mask, turns it into a great day.
