Update 03/15/19: I had 15 min to spare before my shift started, so despite what happened yesterday, I decided to come today. There is construction happening out front. Did a mobile order and went up to the store to pick it up. Door was locked and could not get in and was ignored by staff when they saw me at the door. No sign or anything saying to go to the drive thru. Went back to my car and drove up to the drive thru window and waited about 5 min before anyone came up. Even tried to wave at one of the staff to get their attention because at this point, I was already late. One of the ladies saw me waving but ignored me again. I finally got my coffee and was late clocking in. I know I said I may return to this location, but after today, I will reconsider going elsewhere. 03/14/19: I've been going to this location for the past 4 years. I usually go to the drive thru, and I don't remember ever having an issue with the baristas. Bryce is my favorite lately, and he's been the one helping almost always when I stop by at the drive thru. (I wish I can give him 5 stars!) So when I decided to stop by today, I was hoping he would be there. Unfortunately for me, it was another barista that I didn't recognize. I proceeded to order my usual iced mocha with extra mocha. To my surprise, the barista told me in a condescending tone that the beverage already had mocha and actually asked me if I wanted to put more. As a longtime customer, I was already very much aware of this, and I regularly ask for more without any sort of pushback. I understand she was trying to help (in her own strange way). I've never had this happen when I've asked for any extra add-ins with other baristas. I left feeling slightly annoyed, again, a first for me with this location. I will continue to return to this location, simply out of convenience (walking distance from the office). Always an extremely long and slow moving line for the drive thru. Definitely my last time coming to this location after today. I ordered a venti ICED white mocha with two pumps of toffee nut and no whipped cream. They usually mess this order up anyway, whether it is failing to omit the whipped cream or adding the toffee nut pumps. On this occasion, my drink was an entirely different temperature than requested. I received a HOT white mocha and, though irritated, I let it slide since I've never had my drink come up correct here anyway and the line was long. I didn't want to hold up the line over their mistake. I noticed the cup was significantly light when I received it and when I checked, I noticed that because I didn't ask for whipped cream, I was shorted about 1/4 of my drink, practically getting a grande size. I don't know if this is how it's done, but not ordering whipped cream and getting 3/4 of a venti cup of coffee? Ridiculous. I didn't want to pay 5.75 for this. read more

Having come here for the first time, I found this location to look aesthetically pleasing with a more modern feel. It makes me wonder if the Starbucks is on the newer side or if it was renovated recently. Either way or not, this location was nicely built and has a nice little outside area for those to sit, expanding their seating. In addition, this location also has a drive-thru. As for my experience with the staff, I walked in and stood in line for just a few minutes and was greeted by a friendly cashier by the name of Brian. He took my order quickly and with a smile and some enthusiasm sent me on my way to wait for my food and drink(my favorite drink order is a Soy latte Tall, in case anyone there at Starbucks is listening [= ). After just a min or two my food item was ready(ham and cheese sandwich), and my drink was presented to me shortly after. The girl that gave me the drink wished me a great day, which was nice and appreciated. I would recommend this Starbucks to everyone looking for a go to Starbucks cafe to call home. read more

Well I ordered a passion fruit ice tea with apple juice the other day and half way through my drink I found something which clearly questions the cleanliness if the staff members fully clean any mixers or cups they use after making any previous customer orders. I felt that the customer service provided was somewhat unprofessional and quite frankly rude after bringing the drink to show them. This was my second try of giving Starbucks a better review but quite frankly I am fully disgusted and grossed out. Alright, today was the final straw with this location. I ordered a bacon and gouda sandwich and when i get it, theres only bread and cheese. Plus it looks nothing like the picture at the drive thru. I want to be very clear about why I'm giving them a one star. It has been three months and they keep running short on food spinach wrap sandwiches especially the spinach wrap for some reason and this has been to almost every Starbucks I go to in several different cities I drive a lot for my job. Add this specific location the people behind the counter were nice the place was clean very friendly They do not rush you and overall happiness was good. Love this location!! I come here practically every morning before work and the employees are always in such a welcoming mood. No matter how early it is they are always cheery and ready to serve you, even when it gets hectic busy they always seem to manage and get everyone's order in a timely manner and still give everyone their individual attention. Another thing I love is that recently there has been this one employee, she is always in the order pick up section and she is constantly organizing the orders, cleaning up the area, and personally handing customers their orders. It's the little extra steps like this that sets this Starbucks apart from all the others. There is no other way i would rather start my mornings, than at a wonderful coffee shop like this! read more

I like this location, mostly because it's the only one with a drive thru near my school and I'm super lazy. The drive thru entrance is shaped kind of weird, which doesn't really matter except when it's really crowded and people are trying to figure out how to get in line as without blocking traffic. But honestly I really don't thin the people here care about blocking traffic, evidenced by the way they drive and how they react to the people that they're blocking. The drive thru screen where your order is supposed to show up has been broken since I started coming here last year, but I'm sure the staff is aware of it because they're pretty good at repeating your order back to you so you know they got it right. The staff is really nice here, but I think they may train new people frequently or maybe they haven't gotten it together all the way(?) because they mess up the orders often enough to be noticeable, or they take longer than normal to make an order. But they're super nice and I'm never really in a rush when I come here so I'm not upset about it. read more

Two stars is for customer service. My first time here and the girl taking my order was rude and unfriendly. Red eye makeup and red streaks in her hair. She looked surly and just had a bad attitude. Just sat in the drive thru like for 25 minutes. Mind you there were only 4 cars in front of me. When I finally got to the front the cashier laughed and awkwardly apologized as I waited another 5 minutes for my Cold coffee and egg sandwich. You might as well have given me a tall and put no ice in there at all and that would have cost me less. Whichever barista made the drink, I cannot believe it was made that way. Seriously, imagine my surprise when I drank halfway through and my straw could not suck up anything because the friction of the ice was so much and the fact there was no longer much liquid inside. Considering how often I come through for a weekly treat, I guess it's about time I write a review. I'm surprised I've yet to get one of those Starbucks Rewards card either. Haha. I guess I just don't want to acknowledge that there's a real obsession happening, or necessity, or desire, or I don't know.. It's down the street from work, so any chance I get a minute to breathe outside of the office is a minute I'd like to take to refresh the mind. This Starbucks has a drive thru, but I've only gone through it once. I feel like it's much faster to walk inside and parking isn't too bad. Sometimes you have to park a far ways, but most of the time after 1pm is when the lunch rush subsides. So here I am, ordering the usual. Iced caramel macchiato. Some days I like to mix it up and get the Strawberry Acai. One time I tried to order the Blackberry Creme Frappe, but they didn't have the blackberries in that day. Anyway, the Starbucks here is pretty quick and efficient. They are quick to make your drink order that you'll be in and out in a jiffy. They usually spell my name correctly here too. read more

I came here to try the pink drink and got Jonathan or Jonaquin as a cashier. He was completely rude and asked me if I knew what was in it. I told him I believe it's coconut milk and something else. This is the worst Starbucks I've been to. This location has a drive-thru, and what that means is if you're a walk-up customer, your order is the lowest on the totem pole. This is location that is physically closest to my work, and every once in a while we're forced to go to this location on our breaks, but it's actually slower to get my drink than if I take the freeway an extra couple miles to go to the Starbucks on Alton. (Which I do.) It's not just the lack of speed that makes this Starbucks location less than stellar, the crew at this location just seems to forget orders. This afternoon my coworker ordered, and 5 minutes later, we're still standing around waiting for it. Meanwhile, other drinks have shown up but have nobody to claim them. There is literally nobody else in the place at this point who is waiting for a drink, yet phantom orders keep showing up. We were told that someone else probably took my coworker's order, yet, we'd been standing there the whole time. Nothing of the sort happened. Someone forgot, and it happens all the time at this location. The last time I went to this location another customer's order vanished, as well. Unless you're going through the drive-thru, avoid this Starbucks. The extra star above 1 is for the decor. read more

i cant believe I'm writing this for starbucks. I'm sucker for their christmas lattes and I've been craving for them since the weekend I had the caramel brulee latte...i wanted to order another one. This location, cannot make coffee. My coworker was kind enough to stop by at this location to get me a grande Caramel Brulee Latte. I don't know what happened but my Caramel Brulee Latte does not taste like Caramel Brulee. I was looking forward to drink this but it tasted just like a regular latte! There's no caramel flavor and no whipped cream & carmalized sugar! I highly suggest you check your order before leaving with your cup of coffee. read more

I personally love Starbucks and I'm hooked on their ice coffee! It's so good I believe it should be illegal but that's a whole different story. My go to drink is an iced coffee with cinnamon dolce and easy ice. For some reason a lot of the staff not this one but other locations mixed up cinnamon dolce with coconut milk. So I can tell this is a good Starbucks since they know how to read their markings. Always clean, super fast ,and super friendly! This Starbucks gets five stars from me! read more

I come to this location from time to time because of the drive thru and it being the closest location to my home. Every time service is mediocre and employees look extremely in excited to be at work. Order is correct about 3 or 4 out of every 5 drinks. Today I ordered a grande mocha with whip, they forgot the whip. Which isn't that big of a deal. But my other drink, was only about 2/3 full. One of the few locations in the area that has a drive-thru. However, in the morning it is always extremely backed up and very slow to get moving. Some mornings it's like they randomly are way more together than others. They move through the line quickly and efficiently and you're in an out within ten fifteen minutes with a lot of cars online. Other mornings it's chaotic. It can take up to 25 minutes just to get through the line both inside and out. It's a popular location located inside of a business district so a lot of people come here. You would think that they would have a lot more opportunity to move line quickly and efficiently every day since it's always busy. The staff is pretty nice and usually friendly that's never really a problem here it's just more it being slow and irregular about how quickly they can move the lines. Overall: B- A slow start to a weekday morning, but friendly staff! read more

Bless this Starbucks for existing. It is one of the only Starbucks in the area with a drive-thru, which is a necessity for a tired mom. When you have young children, sometimes you'd rather drive across the city to the only drive-thru Starbucks, because it would be faster than driving down the street to the one closest to you and loading up the kids, unloading them, going inside to order, then loading them back into the car. (This is completely a first-world problem -- that is not lost on me.) The queue for the drive-thru is always pretty quick-moving, and I've never had my order wrong! read more

The worst location in the chain. The baristas are rude, do not make the drinks correctly and of course none of them wear name tags. The location is frequently out of stock and they do not update their systems so that the mobile app is able to identify what they are out of. The manager is rarely there. The district manager isn't any better. Just makes excuses and says that things will be changed. But, that does not happen. Avoid this location. This is one of the few starbucks in the busy business section of Irvine that actually has a drive-thru! But it definitely gets super busy here during peak lunch hours and you WILL be waiting awhile for your drink. And as noted the drive thru orders usually get priority over the walk-ins. So if you're in a rush for a meeting definitely go thru the drive thru or hit up another location. The servers here are sometimes clueless of what you're ordering(esp if its custom) or kinda robotic/rude instead of the typical friendly greetings you get at other locations. read more

Most of the time they're okay. Today was not any more busy than other days. I ordered an extra pump of syrup. And they put ZERO pumps of syrup. I go here since it's drive thru, they got through people fast but the drink is way wrong. Maybe it's f*** up people's drink on purpose day. It's okay because just know there are workers like them in all arenas, even in health. It'll catch up to them. read more
