This is the worst location you can go to. Every time I go here, the workers are always so rude and never make the drinks right. I always order a pink drink here with extra coconut milk and for some odd reason they always fail to add more coconut milk. When I ask them to just add more they're always like "THAT IS EXTRA COCONUT MILK". Coming from someone who buys it every day, I should know what it tastes like and every other Starbucks can get it right except this one. Today was by for the worst experience I had, I come in for a pink drink with extra coconut milk again at 10:45 pm and for some reason this rude barista, who appeared to be Hispanic with her hair tied back, charged me 5.85 for a venti pink drink. It's normally 5.05 but I said whatever it's fine. Then I see the guy make the drink and added strawberry infusion and I told him I didn't want that and we realized she charged me for some strawberry infusion. I go to her and tell her she charged me wrong for one, and I didn't want strawberry infusion in the nicest way possible. She then gives me the worst attitude and says rudely, "THERE US STRAWBERRY INFUSION IN A PINK DRINK." This is when I get extremely mad that she's being extremely rude when she for one messed up my drink and overcharged me. I went off and told her that I drink it every day and in a pink drink there's ONLY AÇAÍ AND COCONUT MILK and shouldn't be 5.85. She then repressed a pink drink into the the register and realized it was only 5.05 and goes "oh. Ok I'll refund you 5.85 and then recharge 5.05." Somehow this girl is just terrible at her job and does not know how to work the register and charged me AGAIN 5.85 and then ANOTHER 5.05. I checked my bank and I got charged 5.85,5.85, and 5.05 and I'm fuming at this point and she argued again that she refunded me and I had to PULL UP my bank account to show her. Her coworker, who was a tall male with corn rows comes and ends up refunding me 5.85+5.85. The same coworker was also giving my friend and I attitude at the drink station when we asked if he can remake my wrong drink and goes "SO DO U WANT A NEW DRINK OR NOT" and points to the table with 3 extra pink drinks made, which we didn't know one of it was for us because no one said anything. Before that, he tried to argue with me that the 3 pink drinks are mine because I BOUGHT three pink drinks and that's why I got charged ?!Like are you kidding me? I tell you I ordered ONE, you messed up and I just wanted a remake. Overall, the managers here need to work on training their employees on knowing the ACTUAL ingredients to drinks for one and most importantly, to not be so rude and have proper customer service skills. If you have no customer service skills, then don't work in a customer service. Otherwise, lose the attitude and learn to apologize for messing up. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks since 2007... 11 years now! During the school year at UCI, it can get pretty crowded with students securing all the available chairs and then some. There's usually a line in the morning as well, and around lunch time when the nearby UNI high crowd arrives. The best way to skip the line is to order ahead using the Starbucks app. This way your drink is waiting before you arrive. As for the drinks, love their extra-hot non-fat decaf or half-caf blonde and regular lattes, spicy or lightly sweetened chai lattes, and the occasional white chocolate mocha. It's easy to splurge on the sweets and in particular, their indulging banana-nut bread which is my favorite (and quite rich in calories, I may add.) I used to visit the Starbucks more often when their prices were lower and the rewards were faster! Sometimes I feel that $4 though is a lot of money for a cup of latte.... Can Starbucks keep tempting the repeat customers with offers on the app and newer concoctions? read more

They remade my drink because it was too sweet. The vanilla is more like sugar syrup. Staff noticed I got the same laté again with less syrup before finishing my first one and said o if u didn't like it we can just remake it on us. And I told them it's ok but it was a lil on the sweet side. They said no problem and remade it. It was perfect the second time. So nice! The chai laté is very spicy(as in, tastes super pumpkin pie-ish with cinnamon and clove) Usually busy but I've found a place to sit almost every time I come here. I have been coming to this Starbucks for over a year. The main reason is I love the hours and it is the only Starbucks I know of that is open until 12 am. The staff is friendly and the work environment is very relaxed. I feel bad for some of the employees because it is obvious that they are doing more work than others. Unfortunately, the lack of effort from some employees has resulted in the most horrifying bathroom I have ever seen in my life. I would rather use a restroom in The Amityville Horror house, then enter the two bathrooms in this store. For example, a few days ago I walked into the Starbucks and I decided to go wash my hands in the restroom. As I entered restroom #1, I immediately notice dirty "wet" floors, no paper towels in the towel dispenser, and POOP on the toilet seat. I rush out of the bathroom and enter bathroom #2. This bathroom, fortunately, did not have any poop on the seat, however, the toilet seat was covered with fresh URINE. This bathroom also had no paper towels. Needless to say, I had to walk 5 min to a burger joint to wash my hands. Secondly, they have a huge rat problem in the outdoor area. At nighttime, if I studied in the patio, I spent more time watching "An American Tail" or "Ratatouille" then I did working. Been coming to this location 10 years and almost daily in the last several months. Staff mostly busy chatting and in no hurry to make drinks. Waited 15 minutes for an iced coffee and when I inquired where it was in the line up , an extremely rude employee insisted she has made it and did not offer to make another?!? She suggested I or someone else had already taken my drink and it wasn't her fault? She was offensive and loud and I have made a complaint to corporate, hope it gets down to the manager who was too busy for two days to take my call and hope this Barista seeks other employment! Idk why there are negative recent reviews on here. I have been coming to this location for about 2 months and I think it's my favorite Starbucks I have been to. First off I love their employees. The manager Who is an awesome person trains them well and is very selective who she hires. All of the staff always greet me and are always smiling even when it gets really busy. As to people complaining about the amount of people being here at any given time it's across from a school I mean come on lol. I love the amount of outlets they have here as well. Positives: It's close to the many apartments which students occupy. It's located in a great spot since it takes only about 5-10 mins to walk. It's open until 12 am so it is also convenient when doing late nights. Negatives: Absolutely the worst place to study. It's always crowded and it's fairly loud, for the reasons stated in my "positive" section. People come out, go out constantly and people, who should be studying as a group, tend to go off topic and talk about nonsense leading to further noise. If you're coming here for coffee, it's like any other Starbucks. If you're coming here to spend time with friends and talk, it's fairly crowded so it is not the best place. The patios outside near Albertsons would be a better choice. If you're coming here to "study", you're not really studying. read more

I've worked there and been a customer there, so yeah, I'm probably biased. But the service there all depends on who's working at the time. Trust me. I agree, some of the employees have really bad attitudes towards the customers, but those employees aren't very nice people to begin with. And they're even rude to other employees when they don't act like them (i.e. if you actually show some personality at work and treat the customer like a human being). Also, if you go to that Starbucks at a certain time, the people at the register will generally be the same ones you had last time. Just a hint ;) I guess I'm vouching for the people that work there that DO make an effort to do a good job and that ARE friendly. Overall, the service there is good considering the average amount of customers they have per hour. read more

This is your average Starbucks, there's usually a lot of people here hanging around. The lines tend to get long here. I only bought a small coffee and was smooching off the free wifi they provide here. The tables were dirty and the floor needed some sweeping and mopping. But what was worst was the bathroom, they are filthy, and there is only one bathroom for all. The staff even though friendly, need to start taking care of making sure the place looks neat and clean. read more

I have been going to this starbucks for 3 years like almost everyday. There's the same people that have been working there for the same amount of time or longer. After 3 years I would think just maybe they would remember to recognize me or acknowledge my presence even if they can't remember my name. I go to the starbucks drive thru in bristol and even they remember me and say hi when ive barely been going there for a couple of weeks. They also have huge lines during their peak hours with only one person working the register and one person making the drinks when there's like 10 people working....Even when they know there's like a hundred people waiting or studying at Starbucks they do not think maybe they can use 2 registers at the same time??? Today when I went in at 1pm the lines were backed up past the entrance door and I realized there was a fly in the glass case with the pastries. I told them but they didn't even reply to me...like they know but won't do anything about it??? I also always order water from the barista at other starbucks and they are always happy to give it to me. However this girl barista was like "next time order from the register" while rolling her eyes. It's just water.... people can make up their mind later if it's water you need. If there's a 100 people in the lines why would you want to line up again to add your damn water to your order?! Not coming back even if it's right next to my house. read more

This is a starbucks located by a college campus. Always expect to see students studying in here. If you want to study in here for yourself, either come early to grab a table or you will be waiting for a long time. I normally love this Starbucks because the employees are very nice and you can get in and out fairly quickly however I had a horrible experience with one employee named Rachel. After waiting 15 minutes for my drinks after ordering them, I asked for a cup of ice for my tea and she actually put it in as a new order and made me wait another 15 minutes!! For a cup of ice! After waiting for 10 minutes for the extra cup of ice I asked her for it again and she very rudely looked at me and said she put it in the order line and i need to wait my turn to get it!! This is by far the best Starbucks I've been to. Not only do they have great service but they make the BEST Chai Tea Latte! Not all Starbucks chais are created equal. I normally go to this Starbucks location because it's convenient since I go to UCI. This location is normally very busy throughout the day with long waits but the baristas always got my drink right so I had no problem waiting. But after today I'm not sure if I want to come back. This guy at the register asked what I wanted I said my normal drink and then he walked off and came back and said so you wanted a latte I repeated my drink and he said it's the same thing in a very rude tone. Last time I checked they didn't have black ice tea with no water soy sub sweetened under the category of a latte but as long as my drink was going to be made I don't really care. (They charged for me a latte which was more expensive than my drink was)I finally got my drink and they made it wrong they added lemonade into my drink mistaken the L for latte... As lemonade. I asked him to redo my drink he's like why did you say lemonade at the register, trying to blame for the mistake and I explained to him my situation and he was giving me attitude and a displeasing tone as he did it. Honestly it was the cashiers fault for writing up my drink wrong when I corrected him already but the way the barista dealt with the situation was completely wrong. So overall my visit was horrible and even with the re made drink it was wrong.. They put water instead of soy. but basically their customer service is horrible here. Hopefully their manager speaks to the team that was on the floor today because that was horrible customer service especially from a big franchise like Starbucks. read more

Megan at this Starbucks was about to charge me $6.50 for my venti iced latte and gave me attitude when I questioned her. A venti iced latte comes with 6 pumps and is normally $4.95. I simply asked for a ice latte with 3 pumps of vanilla and 3 pumps of pumpkin spice the average amount in an iced latte not more than normal. Yet Megan was trying to charge me as if I was getting extra pumps. When I brought this to her attention she seemed confused and I explained and then she went and asked another worker Sarah. Sarah had the audacity to tell me because those flavors are more in demand I'd be paying more yet it was exactly 6 pumps and if I ordered a venti iced vanilla latte or a venti iced pumpkin spice latte I would have been charged the normal 4.95. Not to mention I have gone to this Starbucks and multiple other Starbucks locations and received this order for a whopping 4.95. Yet Megan and Sarah had such a hard time doing this. I even brought to there attention this had not happened before when I had come yet they claimed this is just how there system works and they couldn't do anything about it even though I've ordered this drink multiple other times and other baristas with common knowledge have been able to do this simple task. We frequent this Starbucks establishment and have found the customer service lacking in professionalism. Kiara, (the barista) was incredibly rude to us when we commented that our drinks were made incorrectly. We brought it to her attention and she rudely turned her back on us and acted as if the error was our fault. I swiftly asked Kiara if there was a problem to which she completely ignored me. I've been going here for at least 3 years and while there is many good things to say. Pro's: This Starbucks is always warm, has fast service, and has a good welcoming atmosphere. However it stops there. Out of the many times I've been there, I have had some good experiences, but more often then not, I have had the same difficulties. The staff is hit and miss on their attitude and demeanor, some of the employees and friendly and helpful, but many times they are trying to rush people out of there and are not very friendly. This is a very busy Starbucks, which could be a reason for this. However their rushing doesn't stop at their dealings with the customers. More times then not, they have made my drinks wrong. I always get the same simple espresso drink, a White Chocolate Mocha. Now everywhere makes their drinks different, some a little sweeter, some less so, now I'm not very picky, but this is the 3rd time I've had a drink from here that had no espresso in it whatsoever! It just tasted like warm milk and cardboard, now I'm not one to complain, but after having the same problem more then a few times, I have to say something. They don't know how to make a cappuccino. I went and ordered one, and when I grabbed it I realized it was too heavy for a cappuccino, so I asked the barrista to remake it with more foam, and he remade it within 30 seconds, and it came out exactly the same. Horrible customer service. read more

I would not recommend using mobile ordering with this establishment. I placed an order and arrived about 8 minutes afterwards. To my surprise none of the four items I had ordered were ready, however I decided to just let them know about my order and patiently wait. One of the workers informed me that they had no croissants, and I could have a bag of chips or a cookie straw instead. LIKE WHAT!? A croissant is $2.95 and a bag of chips in $0.99, the prices are nowhere near similar. I asked if I could have another pastry instead, to which I was promptly told no again and after being refused a refund, I settled for the chips. None of the workers were friendly, they just came off as condescending/rude. In total my order took 25 mins to complete two Frappucinos and heat up a sandwich because the barista working the morning shift allowed every single customer in line to order and have their order prepared before mine even though I had ordered 25 MINS PRIOR!! Also I had ordered some added pumps of chocolate and caramel for one of the frapps through the app and the barista tried to REFUSE to make my order. Her reason being it was "too complicated." It was only TWO added ingredients! Although, after reasoning with her she finally agreed to make it and as it was done handed it to me dripping with cream and milk and said "here I tried I guess"..RUDE.
