I came to this location on a whim because I had a hankering for a coffee after church. I didn't feel like going in, so I opted for the drive thru. When we arrived, I placed my order for a shaken brown sugar oat milk espresso and a iced mocha for my mom. After we ordered we waited for at least 10 minutes. The line just wasn't moving, which was a disappointment since you expect drive thru to be quicker (or at least that's what I expect). Everytime I come here they get my order wrong i swear. Like there is probably 50% of the time I am having to ask them to remake it. It usually goes like this: I get a protien matcha, and it comes out as a coffee so i politely ask them to remake to the protien matcha i ordered. They remake it to a matcha but do not adhere to the label at all and add the completely wrong cold foam. It is like the people here are not taking their time to actually read what you ordered and I get people mess up 10000% but this is like an every time i go occurence and I am tired of it. read more

Fantastic service from the team, especially Evergreen. She was super professional and friendly while providing speedy service in the drive thru and in person. The interior was super clean and organized. I stopped in to try the new fall flavors and the special or buy one get one free on Thursdays in September, I am happy to report I am not disappointed. Walk in to order a coffee. The barista is taking order in the lobby wearing a headset, ask me my name, I say my name 3 times to their face that my name is Jason. They say "Jessica????", no, it's Jason. "Oh ok, I have a hard time hearing with the headset on". Drink comes out with my name as Jessica, surprise surprise, she's then texting on her phone 2 minutes later behind the counter. Starbucks needs to get their act together. Visited this location at 935am. The drive through lane was wrapped around the store so I opted to go inside...no line. 8 people working behind the counter. Placed my order: coffee and egg bites. No sense of urgency from anyone. One person was mopping, why? You have a long line of customers and you are cleaning. Brand new person making drinks by herself....extremely slow. I received the egg bites and had to wait almost 10 minutes for a coffee (just coffee) and then I had to ask twice. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. First of all, the workers profiled us based off my husband's hat (Happy Dad) which in return made them intentionally mess up our drinks causing me to have an allergic reaction. Absolutely not okay to take your political views out on customers. It's weird and shows how miserable you are. They didn't even call our drink out and just let us sit there and wait.. then kept looking at the drinks and laughing. We didn't even think that was our drinks based off how they looked. I bought my daughter a protein cheddar box with the crackers, fruit, and cheese. Within 45 minutes of consuming the food, she threw all of it up. She had been feeling just fine prior to the incident. Usually my go to Starbucks, just stopped by and bought a black coffee. When the barista handed it out the window, she spilled boiling hot coffee all over my hand and as I carried it over me and my car. The barista did not even notice and proceed just to look at me while I'm covering in red hot coffee. When she finally did notice, she said "oh sorry about that." Delicious treats, I am not an everyday Starbucks patron- no, I am a spoil myself with a ridiculously high calorie frap or hot cocoa treat every once in a while kinda customer. I don't have a list of requirements to spit out every time I order- just a grande strawberry and cream frap, or a white chocolate mint mocha, or today- a hot cocoa with whipped cream.... hmmmm. I have a few select drinks I order and I appreciate the quick and friendly drive through at this newly built location! I watched for months as they built this stand alone building just a few feet from the old location in the strip mall. This location is also within walking distance from my office, so yes~ I absolutely stop here for my treats! This brand new standalone Starbucks drive thru Building is located at 4761 Hodges Blvd. This new stand-alone shop in Windsor Commons replaces the store within the shopping center which was located at 4765-1 Hodges Blvd. The new building is beautifully designed with 60-seats and more than 2,100-square-foot structure with a drive-thru. The outside patio area is nicely equipped with tables and umbrellas and has ample parking space all around the standalone building now! The service and staff who transferred from the former location are still quite friendly and quick to get your orders. Hopeful that with the unveiling of this new standalone Starbucks location that they bring back that Mallorcan Sweet Bread I LOVE!! read more

This is a pretty cool Starbucks. The coffee is much better here than other starbucks. Not as watered down, and the latte is nice and foamy. The atmosphere is very quiet and calm. Sometimes it gets busy but there is always somewhere to sit, and there is plenty of outdoor seating as well. In fact it's bigger than alot of other Starbucks in the immediate area. The baristas are really down to earth and friendly, too. They are not trained in the latte art thing, but one of them was nice enough to try anyway. I know it's a goofy request, but anytime someone goes the extra mile for their customer, it shows effort and reflects well on the company. Good job, Starbucks! read more

Pre-Yelp, I've been going to this Starbucks for quite awhile now. I can for sure say this, 95% of the time it has been through mobile orders, 100% of the time the order was correct as received, and I've never had to wait no longer than 2 mins tops. To clarify the quality behind the above paragraph. I've mostly gone to this Starbucks either during the morning rush hours or the lunch rush hours. I can count on one hand the evening times in which I've visited in which the place is laid back and quite pleasing to hang out and get stuff done in within a quality atmosphere. Need to Know: This Starbucks will be moving into the parking lot, in which a new building is being built. I've asked the barista when the grand opening would be. I'm told the baristas on the floor are not privy to when, but the chatter on the street is around December. Just like now, and in the future. The best plan of attack lately with Starbucks is mobile ordering, second best bet is to pick up your mobile order from the drive thru, unless you plan on hanging out, the app has more menu items than their trendy new menu signs so anyone not sure on what to order. It's best to do most of your menu scanning and ordering on the app. Last note: I'm assuming the new trend of mobile ordering has/is a success. Especially with a big increase of restaurants updating their websites and apps in order to provide an online service to order. The Starbucks app doesn't include every option for that store to choose from. So from time to time, do an in-store order to learn what they can make you outside the app. read more

When you find the right coffee shop that makes all of your drinks to perfection, you go out of your way to make sure you get what you paid for. I have numerous Starbucks between me and the one located on the corner of hodges and JTB, but this one is by far the most consistent with their quality. Not saying that other Starbucks should be avoided and this one might not even be favored by the majority, but the drinks that I get from this location have been mostly on point. This means a lot when spending $4-$5 per drink and don't want to be disappointed. The staff is always nice and friendly and ordering on the mobile app is always quick and easy. Unfortunately there is no drive thru at this location, but I feel like the quality takes a dip when there are 500 people lined up inside and in the drive thru. If you like Starbucks and do not live too far away from this location, give it a try and hopefully you can taste the difference. read more

I came in without my wallet by accident because I left it at home when I figure out this happened I got all the coins I could find in my car to try to pay for something. I ended up with $2.50. When I told them my situation I tried to get the lowest thing they had. Instead they asked what I wanted to get if I had my wallet. I told them a cookie frap and they gave me a large for free!!!! Takes me 15 min to get through the drive thru and when I pull up to the window they THEN proceed to begin making my drink. To be honest, I'm not a massive fan of Starbucks in the slightest. I usually frequent them when there is zero coffee within a 5 mile radius and need something cold to stave off the Florida heat. However, since moving to my new job I have walked by this place a number of times and only purchased ice coffee or a flat white. This review is mostly on the service I received from the staff rather than the quality of the coffee. The coffee is to be expected, nothing to write home about, but gets you by. Having been here only a few times, I stop by for a lunchtime coffee , preparing myself for giving my order. "ice coffee, whole milk, no sugar and medium". However as I stepped up, the lady had already grabbed my cup and recited my order to me, even getting my name right! This touch alone has won me over for this establishment, feeling less like a cookie cutter coffee corner and more like a local cafe where the staff know you, instead of the robots that you sometimes encounter. My order may not be complex like some but simple gestures like that really shine through, especially is places with high volume of customers. read more

The slowest drive thru ever. I was on my way to meet my mom and brother at the beach. I was about 30 mins ahead of them so I decided to get us coffees. When I pulled in the drive thru, I was on the phone with my brother who was on the Buckman Bridge during our call.... Well, he arrived at the beach about 5 mins before me. I was in line for more than half an hour. That is ridiculous. The only reason I waited was because I was 30 mins ahead of my family and figured I might as well just kill time. read more

The staff definitely sets this SBUX apart; the other Yelpers got that right. When I frequented this location on the way to class at UNF, it was easy to get in and out quickly. It's definitely a mixed age crowd, but seems to be all locals from the surrounding areas. They can get busy in the mid-morning, but on the rare occasion I've parked in a seat for a bit, I've never had a problem finding one. There's always plenty of parking, but I definitely appreciate the 15-minute spots near the door for quick visits. read more

I was very iffy about writing a review on this incident because I hate writing reviews. I decided to write one anyways because it's been a month and I still haven't gotten a refund on this mess up. So I was on the way to work and decided to send in a mobile order at 10:30am because I was about 5 minutes out from this location. I arrived at the location at 10:34am and waited in the drive through line for about 4 minutes before I got to the speaker box to tell them I had a mobile order. They told me okay they have it and to pull up to the window. I waited about another 7-8 minutes but I wasn't angry because I know Sundays are so busy there. When I finally arrived at the window it was about 10:45am and I told them that it was a mobile order. The barista was running around looking for me order and came back and ask what was the name again. Again I told her my name and she claimed that she did not see my drink. She asked another barista for assistance and she asked me when I put the order in. I told her a little over 10 minutes ago. She told me that couldn't be possible, maybe 5 minutes ago because they haven't made my drink yet. I was about to pull out my phone when the first barista came running to the window with my order but it was completely wrong. I told them that it was a venti and that I requested extra ice. The sending barista started to have an attitude and took the drink back and told someone else to remake this order. She came back and told me that it would take a little longer because they would have to remake the whole order. I was already running late for work because of this mishap and told the barista that I'll just take the drink because I am in a rush. She told me that they already tossed the drink but I can clearly see it still sitting there. The 1st barista ran to get it and handed me my drink and I left. On the way to work, I called the same location and asked to talk to the manager for a refund or something to make up for this disaster. The barista told me that the manager would be out of town for a couple days and that if I wanted a refund I would have to come back into the location. I couldn't and explained that I have work and the barista told me to call Starbucks to see what I should do. I'm literally so annoyed because I haven't gotten a refund or a apology for this crap. read more

This Starbucks is so much more pleasant now that the corporation has implemented a policy of not allowing smoking within 25 feet of the front door. I wish more businesses would do this. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy the outdoor tables without clouds of smoke. The staff here has been helpful and friendly to me, and they are good at managing busy times.
