I've been frequenting sbux a lot lately and this is my fave. Here's why - no drive thru - so it's quieter. Also, the baristas are friendly and don't give you dirty looks when you come in, use the wifi, and don't order anything. Also, the location is mostly just locals from the neighborhood, which is basically students and young professionals. All in all, this is my favorite jax sbux. read more

Unfortunately, I witnessed a health concern issue at that location when picking up things for my mother after thanksgiving. I tried reaching management on this to bring it to their attention, but can't seem to get a response. They took 15 minutes to make 2 Arnold palmer's. Apparently because they said they were out of tea when I asked why it was taking so long. They made the first with 90% lemonade even though an Arnold palmer should be mostly tea. I was in a rush so I could not wait for them to remake it. And the store was pretty empty. Wonderful If you're going through the drive-through. But oh my goodness today I think I waited for two iced drinks for 20 minutes while the drive-through kept moving. Not impressed at all as there was multiple staff behind the counter and yet the energy level just wasn't there. Bottom line go through the drive-through! read more

This place is usually pretty quiet inside and a great place to meet up with a friend for a coffee. The drive thru line is usually really long in the morning and for the most part the staff is friendly. Getting the Starbucks application is a must. You can get free coffee and coupons for food/drinks. I'm a pretty big fan of this location. read more

Today was not their day. Normally this store is right on the money. I had 3 drinks, told the cashier what I wanted. Somewhere in that she either didn't hear me or thought I asked for what I was given. My drink was completely wrong, so the Barista remade mine. The other 2 I just took since they were not far off from what I ordered. The redeeming factor was the Barista apologized and gave me a free drink coupons for the two that were incorrect. I will try them again, just when they are busy, make sure they hear your order correctly. read more

Two of the three people behind the counter here were just beyond rude for no reason. I ordered what I always order if I'm going to drink Starbucks, which is an order suggested to me by a barista that works at the Starbucks on Atlantic & Hodges (where everyone is super friendly all the time) and she told me I was wrong... that's not how you order it... Uhm but you knew what I meant right? I had asked for sugar free vanilla syrup. He asked me how much I wanted? I might be an idiot but I've never been asked that, I genuinely thought there was a magic syrup per cup size ratio they used. I said oh I'm not sure and he replies "Uhm ooookay" takes SUGAR PACKETS and pours them in a drink I assume isn't mine since we were JUST talking about sugar free syrup. He sets the drink on the pick up counter and goes back to making drinks... I stand there for a second and say "Is this mine?" He stares at me "am I good to go? I didn't think this was mine you put sugar in it" he stares at me, then looks at the counter and says "uhmmmmmm yeaaaaaahhh" okay attitude. read more

Half an hour for a tepid drink. I ordered my brewed tea online, scooped it up, and headed off. I expected it to be too hot to drink at first so I was halfway home before I took a sip and realized that nothing but teabags were in my drink. No syrup, sweetener, or cream as were listed on the label. Had to go back and the manager (?) Said "Dont worry, we'll make it right." Almost. The missing items were added to my now lukewarm drink and I was sent on my way. No time to go back again, so I had to microwave it at work. Most people love Starbucks, but this location takes it to the next level. I ordered a drink for my husband and I and shyly asked if "pup-acchinos" were actually a thing. The amazing barista lit up and was so excited to make some for me. She asked about my pups and genuinely wanted to make sure the whipped cream wouldn't upset their stomachs. This Starbucks is a model store!!! The employees are super friendly and go over and beyond their duites. Talk about service with a smile It's clean and spacious - perfect place for studying alone or in groups. And the temperature is always perfect! Oh and of course, they make the best drinks. My family and I have been regular customers of this particular branch since 2006. We have had a habit of visiting it several times a week and have always enjoyed our time there. There was a feeling of "neighborhood cafe". Having visited other Starbucks branches in Jacksonville and other cities, we also regarded this branch as the best due to smiling faces from staff and efficient service. However, since they moved to their new building with drive-thru several months ago, they have decompensated severely to the point that I no longer consider this place as a pleasant way to start my day or spend any part of my day. Specifically, service is chaotic, delayed and the staff with lack of sincerity. This may be the result of a service algorithm that prioritize drive-thru. The atmosphere within this place and the service have become "industrial" with lack of personal touch (which used to be). The reason I am writing this review is that, just this morning, we had a very unpleasant experience: we placed our orders for 4 of us, we waited patiently for 35 minutes for our drinks and bagels, during those 35 minutes we checked with the cashier twice about our orders, and at the end nothing has arrived. Tired of waiting, we ended up canceling our orders and had to go to Panera's to get our breakfast. Very unfortunate. read more
