I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, often going one to three times daily, so I was shocked and disappointed by my experience today. Earlier this morning, my drink had been made incorrectly, but since I was in a hurry, I didn't have a chance to go back. I decided to stop by in the evening around 4:46 PM and let the barista at the drive-through know what happened. Instead of the understanding and friendly response I usually get, the barista with red hair questioned me and seemed skeptical that my order had been messed up. I explained that I've been ordering the same drink for months, but she continued to push back, which felt really uncomfortable. She told me, "We'll talk up front when you get here," which came across as stern and unwelcoming. When I got to the window, I was met with a cold demeanor. She handed me the drink in a way that made me feel like I was in the wrong, and she just seemed angry at life. I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn't even drink my drink. This experience was so unlike the warm and friendly Starbucks environment I've come to expect. I really hope this isn't a trend, as it was incredibly disheartening for someone who genuinely loves Starbucks. Customer service is everything. If you need a break, you need to ask your lead for a break and not take that out on customers. read more

I don't typically stop by a Starbucks that often, unless I'm travelling somewhere early in the morning or going through an airport. I decided I was craving a hot chocolate a early Friday morning before 6:30 A.M and stopped by this Starbucks location. This Starbucks location is in the Northwest part of Vegas off of Farm and Durango. You can get here by going the 95N/Durango, and take a right off of the exit. Once you get to Farm road, you can take a right. Starbucks is located inside the Albertsons shopping plaza, next to a few other local businesses such as Subway. The private parking lot for Starbucks is a little difficult to maneuver in. The parking spots are limited. Be careful if you park next to the drive-thru location! It can get relatively backed up by other vehicles going through the drive-thru. I'd highly recommend parking a little farther away, or even in the Albertsons plaza, and walk over to the Starbucks if you have a little extra time in the day. The drive-thru for Starbucks early Friday morning was relatively smooth. I had ordered the following [1] Grande Black Coffee. [1] Grande Hot Chocolate with Whip Cream. [1] Red Velvet Cake (special order for Valentines that was offered). The drive-thru wait time was relatively short. I ended up waiting in-line for roughly five minutes. When I pulled up to the register, the Grande Black Coffee was ready, but a stopper wasn't provided. I asked the cashier for a green stopper and she kindly provided one! Afterwards, she had proceeded with the rest of the order, the Red Velvet Cake and the Grande Hot Chocolate with Whip Cream. The Grande Hot Chocolate with Whip Cream was super tasty and delicious! It was packed with the chocolate flavor and warmed me up! The whip cream was melted by the time I was able to drink it, unfortunately. The Red Velvet Cake was interesting. The flavor profile was a mixture of Red Velvet, and Vanilla. The vanilla icing was a good touch. I didn't get much of the Red Velvet flavor from the pound cake, but the Vanilla flavor was prominent. The Grande Black Coffee was flavorful and good. This Starbucks location rocks! I'll be coming back here again! read more

I have been coming to this location for the last year since it is the closest location for me, but the last few months or so they consistently don't fill my cup to the top. And occasionally they completely leave out something in my order. Every other location does not seem to have this issue. Today I got there while the girl was finishing making my drink so I just asked her to fill the cup up since they tend not to and she said okay and deliberately did not fill it to the top. Honestly, I don't think I have ever had a bad experience in this drive thru. I've gone inside a couple of times, but usually just do the drive thru. This Starbucks tends to stay very busy, but even when the drive thru is packed, it seems to go by quickly and I am always greeted with a smile and some small chat up at the pickup window. not sure if inside is the same, but the drive-thru definitely is quick and efficient. CLOSEST STARBUCKS TO MOUNT CHARLESTON Mount Charleston may be a celestial forest up in the clouds that has a 3,000 year old tree, forests, majestic mountains, springs, caves, skiing, and unspoiled nature. However, one thing that Mount Charleston doesn't have is Starbuck's. In recent times when I drove US 95 to Mount Charleston, I'd exit the freeway at Durango Drive, make a right turn then turn into the Albertson's Plaza after the traffic light. When I visit this Starbuck's I cross traffic that gives the freeway a run for its money. It's Starbuck's drive thru traffic. From my observation, this is a consistently busy drive thru. Under this business listing, I posted a picture of traffic backed up to the end of the Strip of stores. After cautiously crossing the cue of stopped cars, I pass outside tables that are filled up. When I make my way inside this skinny cafe, there are usually a few people ahead of me. Starbuck's Mania is running hot at this location. Just like my coffee. Before escaping the city for the Fall foliage of Mount Charleston, a coffee with pumpkin spice syrup sets the tone of the adventures that I am about to partake in up in the mountains above Las Vegas. In September, Autumn harvest is the brew cooking in Starbuck's. From Pumpkin spice cookies to Pumpkin spice Frappuccinos, the lobby screams Autumn harvest. At the point of my journey between my originating point in Henderson to my destination in the clouds; Starbuck's gives me a place to relax. In a few minutes my feet will be getting a lot of use hiking. At a comfortable table or sofa seat, I cherish savoring the taste of pumpkin spice coffee while the caffeine entering my blood stream will keep me alert for many hours in the hiking trail. This public living room is my last chance to connect with civilization compliments of free WiFi before my cell phone reception disappears in the forests up in the troposphere. In addition to being the closest Starbuck's to Mount Charleston, it is near Tulle Springs at Floyd Lamb, Desert Wildlife Refuge, and thousands of rooftops in the Centennial corner of Las Vegas. I have been coming here almost every day for a few months and the quality of both the coffee and the staff has been truly exceptional. The dedication of the manager Amy is remarkable . She runs a great store and I admire her strong work ethic and obvious discipline . The store is a reflection of her strong core values and she is truly an asset to the company . She then with serious attitude tells me they can't do it because without ice the drink will explode in her face. I was kind the entire time with my questions since I was genuinely confused as to why all of a sudden it's 'policy' but I was given no explanation. I visit this location every morning before I go to work. The drive Thur is usually nuts, but I don't mind going inside because the line moves quickly, if there even is a line inside. The staff is always nice and friendly too which is a must! I have to say that I am not really a fan of the new remodel though. If you are looking to sit down at a table with a friend the new layout doesn't really allow for that. Although it does look very similar to the original Starbucks on Pike Street in Seattle, maybe that's what they were going for, a retro coffee house vibe. i absolutely love this location but i do have a very minor complaint.. a blonde girl, named niki (i believe) was working the register on july 19th and i can't even put into words how awful her customer service was. she rolled her eyes NUMEROUS times, had an awful tone & she honestly looked like she hated her job. i have been going to this starbucks location for about 5 years now and i have never, ever been treated so poorly by one of the staff members before. they are all so friendly besides her. this is not the only time i have seen and been treated poorly by this woman but i didn't want to write a review based off of a one time experience, but now it seems to be a pattern, but i love everyone else! read more

Easily One of the dirtiest Starbucks I've been in. Walked in to the usual aroma of coffee, but mixed with something else foul smelling. No one else in the shop seemed to notice. It definitely grew stronger the closer you go to the restrooms. I braved using one of the restrooms and it was nearly as bad as I anticipated it to be. My husband said it smelled liked old urine to him. Trash and crumbs little the floors and the counter. Trash can is filled to capacity and no one doing a thing about it. It's slow, which would be the perfect time to pickup but they are hanging out in the back. Next time I'm in this part of town I'll pass on by. read more

Service was good. The worker at the register was new, but nice :) I come here usually once every couple of weeks on my lunch break, I like to get a latte or a matcha tea and a sandwich. Today I got a chicken caprese sandwich and a PSL, and a latte for my coworker. They were good at keeping up with our dietary restrictions and foam preferences, but when I got back to work I bit into my sandwich and there was no chicken. I opened it up and sure enough there was no chicken in the sandwich at all :/ I'm still going to eat it, it's not the end of the world, but I wish I had checked when I was actually at the coffee shop so I could ask to switch it with one that did have chicken and someone who doesn't eat meat/poultry could have mine. read more

Didn't really appreciate being lectured by a child saying I need to place my mobile order 15 minutes before I come pick it up, because they we're supposedly backed up and she said I was going to hold up the line because I just placed the mobile order... I was the only person in the drive thru and the parking lot was fairly empty. Also I only got one drink. My iced shaken espresso was more like a macchiato and all of the syrup was just at the bottom not mixed. It made absolutely no sense, if I we're to go through the drive thru without the mobile order and order the same thing you would have to make right then and there, would I get a lecture then? Not to mention 2 weeks prior at this location they redeemed my stars even after I told them I didn't want to, and when I went into the store to ask them to fix it, they just told me to call customer service and they couldn't do anything.
