i see why there are quite a few bad reviews on the customer service at this establishment. i came in for a doordash order & was politely & patiently waiting at the counter. one girl was right in front of us putting tickets on items & i swear purposely looking everywhere but in front of her where we were waiting. she left & what looked like the manager took her place & she was attending to the cashier line which is understandable but still a little crazy how long it took for anyone to acknowledge me & my boyfriends presence. i could see my doordash order packed & ready for a good while before my boyfriend had to take an opportunity at a gap in the line to go to the register to ask for the order. the manager didn't say anything rude but she wasn't pleasant at all. we asked for the order & she said oh & that was it. i joked to my boyfriend saying ive never felt more invisible. i would brush up on the customer service training. it really isn't taxing to be kind read more

Honest Review: 5stars Nicely and beautifully renovated from what use to be at the smaller corner on the right-hand side where it can be easily missed to NOW on the left-hand corner with a grand display of their brand, a drive-thru and fresh seating inside which includes leather-padded 10x chairs, 8x wooden tables, single-island with 6x barstools, cozy/warm social area with 2x loveseat sofas with a low table, a row of leather padded seating against the wall with multiple tables for a party of 2/4/6/8 as needed if you want to have a combined seating since they are side by side with a small empty table walkway area for entry in mid, an elongated open area to wash your hands without using the actual bathrooms for conveniency and bathrooms are right behind as needed. For the past couple of weeks since dropping off my daughter to school and having a bit of time to enjoy breakfast, I have came solely to this location about 5x's and every time their Baristas were always consistent with their professional and super friendly customer service demeanor, spent valuable time on crafting drinks without taking shortcuts, making sure that hot breakfast sandwiches/wraps were oven baked to the perfect temperature, and kept a really great momentum moving cars along in the drive-thru with little downtime! I will always order my favorites as follows: 1. Pistachio Latte (Tall: 1x pump instead of 3 always made with richness never watered down, it is seasonal so get them while they're still available; if not available, you can try the Toffee Nut (seasonal as well) or Hazelnut Latte which are all very delicious if you're into that lol) 2. Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich (always a treat made to satisfy those cravings for bacon early in the morning LOL) Other than that, parking can be a bit uneasy at this time since there's construction directly across from Starbucks possibly making more of those EV charging stations so there's only about 11 parking spots along the front of the plaza (2x pick-up order 5min parking and 2x handicap parking only). There is more parking past the fenced construction zone about midway but be careful for blindspots of incoming vehicles since I've seen lots of them navigating through the lot like they own the place (DO NOT PARK on the right of the lot by the EV stations near the middle two-way entryway, I have seen too many cars taking dangerous shortcuts squeezing their way in between parked vehicles to get to that 88 Supermarket place). read more

Whoever is making the drinks either didn't pay attention or didn't get the proper training because twice now they've screwed up on my order that specifically requested no dairy due to an allergy. The first time it happened I thought ok maybe it was an accident because these things happen. I always tell people the North Vasco Starbucks raised me (the one in the old location). That Starbucks has now moved into its current location. The current location is very spacious but there is a sense of coziness missing from this space that was present in the old location. The tables and seating are bright & the floor is concrete. At the old location the furniture was darker and the floors were tiles. If you are into the modern bright and airy aesthetic with lots of windows, then this is the place for you. I personally like coffee spaces to have the more traditional coffee shop ambiance. However, it seems like any new Starbucks being built will have a brighter aesthetic. I've never had quality issues or customer service issues with this Starbucks. The space is usually very clean. However: 1. A few times, my hot drink wasn't full all the way which I've asked about; not much can be done about this because it's from the foam. 2. I had a pastry order placed once and I was given the wrong item. I asked them and they fixed it immediately for me, but I saw them throw away the wrong item. As someone who doesn't like to waste food, it hurt me a little to watch them toss something I hadn't touched into the trash lol. I thought usually staff keep items like that if a wrong order were made. 3. Pre covid, staff were a little bit more lenient about customers who were in there around closing time. Recent staff seem to want everybody out 7pm on the dot. Not 7:01, but 7. 4. I also wish the hours open were longer. I remember a time when Starbucks was open until 9pm. read more

Yesterday, I was at Starbucks with my daughter. Since my daugther has severe dairy allergies, I asked if their was any dairy in the frozen lemonade. I was told there was not. When the drink came out. It wasn't frozen. So they remade it. I gave it to my daughter and she said that they share machines, so she coudln't drink it. Welp. Guess i have to ask for the regular one. But she got up and talked to one of the girls working there. Who offered to sanitize the shaker and remake the drink. Jasmeen went above and beyond. Olympia did the same for us today. I love this Starbucks - they always make my drink right and it's such a convenient location! The parking lot is a little awkward and narrow, but there's plenty of room. The store is clean and spacious - they have outdoor seating and a large area inside to wait for your drink to enforce social distancing. The baristas are always super friendly and nice - I have no complaints! This place is probably my favorite Starbucks. I've noticed that other Starbucks in the area aren't as good or don't read the customizations on the label as well. They always do it right at this store. :) read more

Absolute worst customer service of my life, and on Christmas Day! My child and I stopped for a hot beverage and needed to use the restroom after a two hour drive to see family. I was thrilled to see that Starbucks was open on Christmas Day. But after entering the store, a crazy woman employee tried to block us from going to the restroom and was yelling at us. She stopped my child from entering the bathroom. It was horrible. She should be fired for horrendous treatment of loyal Starbucks customers. read more

I'm so disappointed. I looked on Apple Maps and it says that this location was open until 8pm. So I pulled up and went through the drive through. There were 3 cars ahead of me. They all ordered and once I pulled up to the speaker, the worker tells me that they're closed for the day. Apparently their close time on apple is wrong, but it was modified on Yelp. Unfortunately, I don't use Yelp to look up hours..I use Apple Maps. So then I had to sit and wait behind 3 cars while they paid and got their order bc I was stuck in the drive thru lane. It would have been nicer if instead of telling me at the speaker, they put a cone up to stop me from entering and getting stuck. Waste of time. Not to mention. I always ordered thru app for drive thru pick up here at this Starbucks. I just picked up my drink at the drive thru. Gave my name and when I got to the window, the guy was taking order from another customer on his headset. He was about to hand me my drink but then took his time to finish the order of the other customer. And then he just handed my drink without saying anything, he just looked at me. Also I hate it the way he handle the cup, he handed by holding the lid where hole is. Aren't they supposed to hold by the cup itself! I can't speak intelligently to how well this stacks up to other Starbucks, as this is the only one I go to, but I am very happy with the experience we have here. This is our regular pitstop back home after whatever had us heading to the Livermore to Dublin area. Sandwich was to my kid's liking as are the refreshments she usually gets. No line at this time and when there is, staff moves quickly to process the orders. Not giving a 5 star for lack of a drive thru (although by the looks of the surrounding area it may not be possible). 5 stars for the friendly staff who hustle hard during morning rush hours! I typically do mobile order and my drink is usually always all ready for me. The only thing I'd critique, for all Starbucks mobile, is to have a different system for picking up your drinks. Having several drinks displayed on the counter and customers coming up touching and spinning cups to see if it's theirs is kind of unsanitary! I don't want strangers touching my drink. Other than that, this store is awesome and they have a good team. The Starbucks just on the other side of the freeway is a hot mess. Let's just say that the people don't listen to you. They take your order, and then they don't even know how to make drinks. This is gotta be the worst starbucks I have ever gone to. These servers are always so nice. We even went here on free tea sample day, and they were STILL nice- that's really a test for a business and its employees. I've been very happy with the drinks here and with the service. It's a small location, and the only problem here is parking- there just isn't enough parking. So if you are going at a time when it isn't too busy, it's a great place to go- if you're trying to get your coffee or tea fix at the same time as everyone else in Livermore, you might want to choose a Sbux with a bigger lot. read more
