The customer service of the girl with short curly black hair is always fanstastic, she always say hi to every customer that comes in but there's one barista she's tall skinny with long straight blonde hair that has an attitude. Everytime i go there i always say hi and thank you but she'll just give me that look. Nope.. i dont know her personally. I always go there almost everyday especially around Christmas but her customer service is always the same... i dont know if its just towards me. just like today 1/14 around 9:26 am she said thank you to the other customer in front of me but she didn't even say anything to me... this my to go place for coffee cause it's close to our house but unfortunately i'll stop going here. What can you say about starbucks shops? It usually comes down to location convenience and staff. This location is less-congested than the one a mile down the road on S. Vasco. The staff is very nice and competent, and you have the usual wait on your beverage as any other place. And if you're a regular, the nice guys and gals will usually remember what you're having. Not my usual Starbucks, and for good reason. Service is not as fast as others and it can be pretty hit-and-miss here. When it's no busy, things are typically fine. Mornings however, not the best. "Grande Pike with room" = cup with less than 12 oz of coffee for $2.25. Yes, I did say "with room", but I did actually come here to have some coffee as well. read more

A diary of Starbuck's. This was my first Starbucks after moving into Livermore. I am not a morning person but we were up early that day. We went in and had small snacks for breakfast. I had their ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was so delicious - before they decided to axe them. I understand they may have brought them back. Suuuuuuuuuuper sloooooooowwwwww. It is 5pm on 8/19/18 and I have never experienced slower service in my life!!!! It took literally 18 minutes for a (horrible tasting) venti strawberry refresher and breakfast sandwich for my husband while our young twin babies screamed in the car (I went in to pick up his mobile order for him). The two workers couldn't find the protein packet for another customer. Then they made another customer's drink wrong and had to remake it. They had to apologize to everyone and it just felt like I was in an alternate slow motion reality. Avoid this Starbucks if possible. read more

For the past few years, I have organized events near this location- and these are the folks that have MOST EXCELLENTLY produced the coffee for these events. Case and point, recently ordered "travelers" for 100 people. The coffee was ready when they said it would be and, even though they were rockingly busy, the folks helped me to the car with the supplies. While I was moving coffee to my car, I witnessed the hardest working crew I have ever seen...and, I have worked in service a long time. The gals behind the counter were working as fast as I have ever seen folks work, with complete precision and politeness. It is rare to see this kind of teamwork and work ethic. The only downside is that I like shadegrown, certified organic, fair trade coffee, and they don't offer that for groups...although I know Starbucks is helping with these issues in other ways- I wish they would more support certification of these standards. read more

I've been here many times in the morning and I am usually pretty pleased with the service and food until I saw what looked like a manager being rude to a younger cashier. She had a cold and emotionless face and didn't smile at all while shouting out orders to this younger girl like she was a drill sergeant. ("SHE ONLY NEEDS HELP IF SHE HAS OVER 6 DRINKS!!") I've been served by this young cashier before and she has always been thorough and pleasant with me and anyone before me. This woman that may have been a manager needs to be spoken to on how to treat her coworkers with respect and proper coaching skills. On the job training shouldn't involve rudeness especially in front of customers. I'd give 4 to 5 stars but service is 75% of my opinion when visiting restaurants. Cheers. read more

The staff was friendly and polite but as there was no one in front of me in line, staff should really be transparent about the wait with mobile orders or just not bother doing in store orders anymore if priority is for mobile only. read more

Worst experience I have ever had at Starbucks. Waited over 20 minutes for an unsweetened iced green tea. The staff didn't seem to have a clue what they were doing and had so many drinks backed up. They had to keep checking with each other to see if things were done correctly. Some people ahead of me waited for more then 30 minutes for a drink. I watched a few people just walk out without their drinks, after waiting god knows how long. I was told I could come back later to get a drink since it was taking so long. I have never been so frustrated with getting coffee. Needless to say, I am now late and I don't have my beverage. Who knows if I'll ever go back to get my drink. And the gal who was working the register took offense when I asked for a refund. But they also didn't have time to do that. read more

I don't know what else to say about this place. As a long time customer, their employed staff have let customer service slip way on down the line of what acceptable should be. The young lady's that work their are more interested in complaining about the customers and flirting with other teens coming in for caffeine before school than getting your order right or giving two sh*ts about anything remotely customer service related. Although I have come in here several times and have had generally pretty good service, I was really disappointed tonight while I was walking my elderly dog by their store(they have a small bowl of water for dogs) I found that it was empty. I tried the door and it was licked but I saw a woman behind the counter and made eye contact with her and held up the bowl clearly indicating I would like some water for my dog, but she completely ignored me! I find that to be very rude and would appreciate it if they could find it in themselves to be more courteous to those with an elderly pet in need of water! read more

This is one of the worst retail Starbucks. They had 5 or 6 people working, with only one expresso machine in use. It always takes a long time to get drinks. If you don't ask, they don't stir or mix the drinks with the sauces. I asked for my Carmel Macchiato, to be extra hot, with extra caramel. I don't think I got any caramel, let a lone extra. I can get in and out faster going to the Starbucks in the Safeway on 1st & Las Positas, even when they only have one employee working. I think i will be going out of my way to go to Safeway and only use the retail stores for my free ones. read more

The staff here is friendly and the drinks are always good....but they are SUPER SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW...slower than any Starbucks I have EVER been to! It is so annoying. I started using the mobile order on the app and my drink is NEVER ready when I arrive...the 3-7 minutes is a joke at this location. They obviously do not put an emphasis on speed when training their employees here. If there was another Starbucks on this side of town I would go elsewhere. It is unbelievable how slow they are. I like this place. I come here to write it's small and quiet. The staff here is lovely. I don't know their names but there's a lot of nice smiles and a man with a beautiful beard. (4 stars because I'm jealous at his beard growing abilities.) It''s a Starbucks. The only thing that's different between all of them is just the people who work there. So I admire the staffs skills in communication and customer service. They talk to me like a friend and not like a robot. My review has nothing to do with the product or employees. There is one SUPERVISOR there that constantly berates and yells at the employees right in front of the customers. The first time I saw her she was taking over the food station and very loudly claims, I will never be able to catch up since you guys have things so messed up. She continued to scream the same things over and over, "if you're not helping, move out of the way". The next time I was waiting for my tea from the (AMAZING blonde woman barista who is so friendly and fast) and the same supervisor yelled at another barista saying, "STOP SAYING FOOD, I HAVE THE ORDERS HERE, you're not helping"....apparently there is a process where if a drink order includes a food item, the barista states verbally, "food". She was just following procedure in my opinion but the rude supervisor just can't help controlling the staff. This morning I went in and I must have just missed a confrontation because the supervisor was mid sentence when I walked in and she was saying to the barista, "I'm not yelling at you" which clearly she was because she always is. If there is a director or district manager reading this, RUN, don't walk, to this location on N Vasco and train this lady on people skills! She is the most rude person I've ever seen and the employees look deflated. Whether they will admit it or not, I know they are embarrassed when she disciplines them like 5 year olds.
