Stopped in here on my way back to NJ. I wanted to try the new cloud macchiato for the first time. This location was super clean. The ladies working were super friendly and my coffee was ready within 3-5 mins of ordering. If you go to any Starbucks definitely try the Cloud Macchiato! It's similar to a Carmel macchiato but not as sweet. If you are in the area I definitely recommend this location instead of the ones inside the World Trade Center station.. less busy and not as crowded. read more

Smaller narrow layout and not much seating overall at this Starbucks. Only a few tables and chairs, and a counter along the window. Definitely not a location to bring your laptop and spend hours being a wifi hog. Yet, the staff was friendly and got my drink order correct and with a smile. So no complaints here when I dropped in last night after a Yelp event a few blocks away to get my caffeine fix. My major pet peeve is that there is NO BATHROOM here! WTF??? Anyone patronizing Starbucks porta potties should have access to a pooper! After filling my face last night at the Yelp resto event I really needed to drop the kids off at the pool! I have been to a plethora of Starbucks nationwide. This one is quaint with open windows giving the small store an open feeling. I like. There's small amount of seating but I would go here for a quick pick me up. Service I experienced is SPEEDY GONZALES! I ordered, I paid, and waited less than a minute for my order. Yes, I did order an iced coffee, which should take only 2 seconds to make. But at the other locations, an iced coffee can take up to minutes! Why? Here, with the hustle and bustle, it's great to know that a simple order can be brief. Also, if you want milk in your iced coffee, be sure to tell them. Firstly, I was already mad at them because they did not have Christmas blend the day it came out. However, if you know me, you know my 1 star rating is not for a one time offense. I know...why review ANOTHER Starbucks? I've noticed an incredible variance in service, quality, etc from all the Starbucks I've encountered in my 23 years. This one gets five stars from me because: - It's out the back of my building - It was empty at 8:07 this morning - The barista was incredibly sweet, and the cashier didn't bat an eyelash at my foo-foo coffee order (quad grande, no foam, skinny vanilla latte) - Drink came quickly (and it was actually hot! Although this is a tiny Starbucks, it is in a great locale in the Financial District and was a staple to my mornings on a recent visit to NYC. The lines are long, but move quickly. The staff are on top of their game and get the drinks right every time. If you are going during peak time in the mornings, take advantage of the outdoor seating area just in front of the Starbucks. this is the worst Starbucks that I have ever been to. The employees were very unprofessional. Cashier yelling to her co workers "Im puerto rican so you know I can cook" The employees were yelling back and forth at each other for taking so long to make the drinks, and to mind their business. I waited close to 10 minutes for a muffin. I stood there and watched an employee take the muffin out, place it near the stove and walk away to help another customer.. Ridiculous! I literally just walked out of this place. It's a holiday morning, I am on my way to work, I decide to run to grab a coffee on my way. There were no other customers in the store but me, I ordered my drink, grande mocha frap without cream. 3 people behind the counter and no one wants to make my drink. The one female workers acted totally unprofessional, complaining about having to make it, they all walked back to the back room laughing and messing around, before the girl with the attitude walked back out to make my drink, complaining the whole time while doing it... then she proceeds to give me the poorest made drink possible!!!! She hands me a watery frap, and that has no taste to it. Not to mention I was charged $5.93 for a medium frap???? If u don't like your job... don't work! And if you are going to do your job with an attitude and provide horrible service... your job shouldn't keep you employed! I was so upset, I couldn't say a word, and just walked out! I walked to a local food place nearby the day before we went here, but this was right across from our hotel and after repeated poor experiences with the hotel staff, this was an absolute joy. We walk it, it's packed, but when we get to the counter the cashier is happy and greets us with a big smile. Nothing like a good mood to cheer yours right up! There are three Starbucks within a 3 block radius of my office. This location is the furthest from me, and by far my favorite. I go out of my way just to pick up coffee from this location. The barristas here are so friendly. Their great attitude and efficient flow are impressive. They offer cheerful lines, such as "Have an AWESOME day!" that really do put a little extra pep into my step. And they never get my name wrong when they write it on the cup (I've gotten some very interesting interpretations of my name at the other two locations). read more

Though I have many coffee shops to chose from where I work near Fulton Street, I always prefer to come to this Starbucks. Not just cause I'm lazy and this is right up the block from my office, but because I have been a Starbucks customer for years and mostly because the staff here is fantastic! Rhona, Kent, Vlad, Chris, Kahlee (sp?), Joel, Asia, and basically everyone who has ever helped me here has been so friendly and has made my beverage excellent. The management should also be praised for their work here on having such a great staff. The only negatives are some of the "customers" who use up the few seats/table spots to charge their phones or set up shop with their laptops as if it's their office and who don't spend any scratch here. Come on people - there are actual paying customers who would like to sit and enjoy their beverage! Also there is no bathroom here which can be inconvenient, however this can also be seen as a plus as it keeps the annoying people away who don't buy anything but hog up crucial toilet time.
