I visited the Starbucks in Porter Ranch and ordered a Venti Mocha Frappuccino with an extra shot. Unfortunately, the drink tasted extremely bitter and was undrinkable. When I politely let the barista know, hoping it could be remade, her response was, "What do you want me to do about it?" I was disappointed by both the quality of the drink and the lack of customer service. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but I believe customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. A simple offer to remake the drink would have made all the difference. I hope management addresses this issue so that future customers have a better experience, it was my first time visiting this particular Starbucks doesn't look like I'll be coming back. read more

First time here at this Starbucks location!! Wow!! It's sooooooo big!! Love how there are different types of seatings here...from long tables, to round tables, to lounge chairs! So comfortable! And thank goodness the service here is great too, because it would be a dud to have bad service in such a nice vibe here. And my Lavender (so happy they still have syrup) Latte was made perfectly! One of the better locations for sure. So much room inside, lots of parking, and even lots of seating outside. They seem to be more organized when it comes to their mobile pickup area too although I had a bit of an issue with mine but I wasn't looking clearly I guess. I was looking for my purple Ube drink and saw none of that in "A" for my name so I waited a bit, not realizing it was on a different row and hidden behind some pasty bags lol. It was also very busy so I figured my order would take a bit of time but nope! Just wish the rows were labeled more properly since I ended up rushing and got to work a bit late. Overall the pastries are great, they have alright drinks but some I don't care for (like the new Ube one which had a weird aftertaste). Probably the best Starbucks in SFV! The energy there is amazing, the neighborhood is safe, plenty of parking, great service and a fantastic outside patio, especially in the evening. This particular location and just one or two more, have this awesome iced drink that's just life-changing. It's called Coco Matcha-- coconut water on the rocks, topped with delicious matcha cream. As you take a sip, the coconut water runs through the matcha foam and gets into your mouth as this slightly creamy, smooth texture of a sip, almost like you consuming a tiny piece of a coconut water -flavoured cloud. Awful service! They have no control of the lines. Take people standing in any direction regardless of who has been waiting first. Staff is busy talking and gossiping with one other as opposed to helping customers (this is a reason why lines get long). Also, when lines are long they don't bother bringing in a 2nd cashier... they just let the lines get longer. Overall, awful service and awful experience! Won't come back to this location. read more

I really like this location. Though, I will admit, that I often forget it exists because it is tucked away in the corner of the Porter Ranch shopping center opposite to where I usually shop. The staff here is always great. They're super friendly and helpful and do a great job of getting your order out quickly. I will say that there's something about this location that is louder than any other Starbucks I've worked at so there are plenty of times when I mishear the baristas but they just brush it off. I've never felt like they were frustrated or anything no matter how busy they are. Parking outside if plentiful only because this is located next to grocery stores & other large businesses. You might not be able to park right up in front, but you will still find ample parking a short, quick stroll to the store. read more

This location of Starbucks has to be one of my favorites. I've been coming here practically when they opened. If you know what the Clover is, then you know. This location is very spacious indoor and out. The staff is friendly and used to be very convenient for me while I was attending college. Now days its convenient while visiting my sister and most of my visits to the center ends or starts with a visit to Starbucks. There is a lil Starbucks booth inside the Ralphs which is in walking distance. But for some reason I will make those extra steps to go to the brick and mortar if I visited the market. There is a fair amount of traffic at this location and if you are planning on hanging out it may be a lil difficult to grab a seat if you're with a group. I usually do not rate any business 5 stars without first seeing the cleanliness of their restroom. I was about to rate this one 4 stars on just my experience. I was assisted by Becks. I'll start off by saying this. The recent Starbucks Mass Layoffs were disappointing, but as a business owner sometimes difficult decisions need to be made. In this case, Starbucks CEOs should not be compensated the grossly large salary that Starbucks pays theirs. Back to my experience. Becks was so hospitable. This place is really cute! It's located in a large shopping center parking lot so there is plenty of space to park. The interior is very spacious and they had a huge pretty mural on the wall. They also have a large outdoor uncovered patio. The restroom was clean and stocked with all the essentials. They have a fountain with plastic cups near the pick up counter so I was able to get some water while I waited for my drink order. The service was great. The young lady there with dark blonde hair (Chrissy) was very positive and helpful. She got our drinks right out to us. Thank you for the fast and friendly service and delicious drinks! I stopped by this Starbucks location because my niece wanted her pink drink and I was already in the plaza. The parking in front of this Starbucks will be taken so you're better off parking a little further away. When I parked my car, I saw that a Starbuck employee kicked out a homeless person from the outdoor patio and he started throwing stuff while also punching a Ferrari that was parked there. This Starbucks was busy when I came at 10am so I recommend putting in your order on your phone to speed up the process. I got my niece her grande pink drink and asked for light ice. I think I had to wait like 10 minutes for the drink to be ready. The inside of this Starbucks is nice and they have a lot of table for people to sit. A regular here because I live nearby. I don't think I have ever had an issue at this Starbucks. My orders are always correct and they taste great, or at least how they should taste. The inside is also very big and has lots of different types of seatings. Been here ample times actually since my parents live in Porter Ranch. Surprised I never reviewed this place. The inside is big and spacious with lots of seating - inside and outside actually. Lots of parking in this plaza. It's a bummer that subway and pick up stix next door closed but it does ensure more parking. The service is nice and quick and the options the usual you expect from Starbucks. This Starbucks is often clean, and pleasant. The staff is often courteous, friendly and efficient. It can get really busy, so most of the time, it is hard to find a place to sit, specially if you are a senior having difficulty sitting on high stools which they have a lot of. They're always busy when I come here but that's what expected with a Starbucks. I used to come here at around 5am to get my quick fix before work. I am grateful that the morning team is more awake than me at this time and get my order done quickly enough to where I still have enough time to get to work promptly. When it is noon time or early afternoon, there are a lot of runners or hikers that pass by to grab a cup of water at the side. It is nice that there is a personal water station with cups ready for people who just want to grab water and don't need to line up. It's almost always crowded around this time as there's the usual cafe ambiance but with more people; the students studying and doing work on laptops, groups of kids hanging out, adults doing work or grabbing a quick fix for the day, etc. So don't expect a quiet and peaceful scenario here or a guaranteed clean table every time. I've had a couple orders messed up here during a rush so it does suck when you are trying to get somewhere too but the good news is that the staff will remake it with no problem, but you just have to wait for your drink to go through the queue too. Which I believe for a remake, the staff is supposed to skip the queue and prioritize the remake first. So it's a little disappointing they made me wait another 8 minutes after waiting 15 minutes for my two drinks. read more

Love going to this Starbucks early in the morning when they are first opening up. There is a super nice and friendly barista who works there (Becca) who always remembers the regular customers names. She always says hello and have a nice day. She also writes nice notes on the food packaging saying to Have a Great Day! I always feel good when I go in there and see her. Normally we love this Starbucks and order here several times a week (yeah, I have a problem, don't judge) but we had a particularly crappy experience today, so I'm writing this in hopes of getting the management's attention. We were enjoying our coffee on the patio when we noticed an unleashed dog wandering around. We were annoyed and looked around for who the owner might be, but it wasn't a huge deal--until it trotted up and pissed on my purse. Just then, we see the owner sitting in the corner laughing. He ran over and doused my bag with hand sanitizer before I could say anything or stop him, completely ruining my bag. The he walked away laughing and petting this dog. We (along with a few other patrons) chastized him and asked that he please leash his dog. He walked away laughing, went to sit in the corner, started blasting music on his phone, then began openly drinking a beer on the patio. He had several he was messing with (you could hear them clinking around on the concrete in a plastic bag). Naturally, the drinking was sort of the final straw and my partner went inside to let management know. Management did pretty much nothing. One gal came out and did a quick walk around/sweep of the patio and went back inside. No one said another word to us, they didn't even look at the man. They just let him sit there drinking and heckling people. We are totally aware this man's behavior was NOT the fault of Starbucks or any of the staff. However, we ALSO know that it IS their responsibility to ask people like this to leave so the rest of can avoid having our stuff peed on or being heckled by a drunk drinking in public. We've seen this man here frequently. We really HOPE we never have another incident with him again. But I'm also hoping that management will actually take a customer's complaint more seriously next time. This Starbucks has the best customer service I have ever received at any of their locations. The staff here are always so friendly. I do have to say that they are a bit slower compared to others, but I honestly think that their service makes up for it. Another thing to note is that, I usually order an iced matcha latte, and it usually does not taste consistent. I ordered a Venti sized drink and asked for light ice, but when I received my drink, the cup was filled half with ice. So I pretty much received a Tall and a half for the price of a Venti. I let it slide the first 2 times it happened, but it's been more than that now and I am starting to realize this location is ripping me off. This Starbucks has become my favorite! Even tho there is no Drive-Thru, I actually enjoy walking in & getting my coffee every morning. I always come in the morning around 8 to 9ish so Parking isn't really an issue at that time. This location is always busy, but there is something about seeing groups of people chatting outside or reading the news paper that makes me feel happy (I don't know why lol) & makes me start my day in a good mood.
