The Spanish latte was yummy! The Mayan mocha really hits. You can taste the dark chocolate (I assume no less than 85% cocoa). The inside only has about 2-4 stools. Otherwise, there are two small tables outside with chairs. Very limited with seating so staying to drink is difficult. The staff were friendly, helpful, and sweet.

Next, the strawberry croissant: a perfectly flaky pastry filled with creamy, smooth custard that had just the right amount of everything. It was like a dream. Third and finally, the ham and cheese croissant -- OMG! I don't remember ever having a ham and cheese croissant like this before. This was quite possibly the best one I've ever eaten. This little family-owned and operated bakery/coffeehouse is one of my favorites. I come from GG/Bolsa which has the most authentic vietnamese coffees in Socal, so given this is out of that area, they still have a good recipe for viet coffee. I did like that they had a variety lof savory and sweet croissants. Although my croissant was warmed, the inside of it was not when I took a few bites. When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.
