They're coffee magicians at this Starbucks. My husband and I moved from Northern California in January. We had a Starbucks with mostly friendly staff and were pretty quick getting your order to you. We were so happy to find this bucks near our home in Floral Park! Every time I order a drink it's done in under 3-5min, sometimes it feels quicker. Even on a busy day! The staff has been SUPER nice and friendly. My favorite part is that everyone knows me. A few of them even make sure to say "Hi Niff" even if they're on the bakery end of the counter. Their Chai Lattes taste aweful!!! They put something in it that it almost taste like some kind of pepper. I took it back and they made it again but it taste worse than the first one. Often, for business or even pleasure, I need to log online. While other places may or may not work, Starbucks internet always works.. Always, so far! I just buy an item on the starbucks card and I am good to go. This location has nice people, it is more spacious than others, and they have at least 20 seats with plugs to use for your laptop. The Starbucks that I go to every weekday at 9:00 and 3:00 is closed for 2 week for remodeling. I tried going to 7-Eleven to get my beverage fix, but at 3:00 my coworker and I agreed that we needed our Sbux, plus there was 2For1 Tea Promotion. This location is in a strip mall off Main Street and Town & Country, across the street from the MainPlace Mall. Parking can be a problem if you go during peak time. Fortunately at 3:00, there was parking available. The location has inside and outside seating, but at 3:00 there was a lot of people connecting onto their devices. As we were on a break, we prayed that the line would be short. Fortunately it was, only the 2 girls in front of us wanted to split a check for a 2For1 promotion (1 paying with her Starbucks card, 1 paying with her debit card). Thank goodness the barista had patience, as I would not have been so nice. My order was taken correctly, and my drink(s) came quickly. The barista calling out the drinks wasn't very friendly. Came in no greet no acknowledgement. Stood at the mobile pickup and still no acknowledgement. The two female barista's were chatting it up and not paying attention. The gentleman that was mopping the area behind the counter saw me but nothing. I had to speak up to get any type of attention. After i got my order, still received no customer service. Just handed my order and said nothing. I asked for some "spill sticks" for the coffees i had and i got "we dont have them" rudely and continued mopping. I've said it before and I'll say it again there's absolutely nothing worse when there's customers in line and the employees are playing grab-ass behind the counter. Mostly a fan, great location and the internet speed is... Well, okay. This Starbucks sits in a small shopping center which is a resourceful little place, there are other shops that sit here, like uBreakiFix, Subway, and Rubios Coastal Grill. The Starbucks has a decent seating area and the big table has AC power outlets that sit underneath. The internet as mentioned before is okay, when I ran a speedtest I got just under 8 Mbps, but upload was only around 2 Mbps. For Orange County, I expected significantly much faster. It is sad when I go to a place like Temecula, which might be filled with lots of people on their laptops and tablets, and I'll speedtest around 20 Mbps, but in the oh-great Orange County, I can't even get half that speed? The drinks themselves are great, it's a Starbucks, so you can't expect super high quality coffee, but comparing a chain against a mom-and-pop shop that offers true cold brew and Kyoto brews is sort of an unfair comparison. With that said, I've still experienced better, but for a chain, they do mostly well here. If the internet speed were improved here, I'd return. I'm already beginning to see Starbucks locations in Irvine that have significantly improved internet speeds, which leads me to wonder if Starbucks as a whole is working on some sort of network infrastructure improvement plan in California or company wide. For the record, when I lived in Phoenix, Arizona, I saw some Starbucks locations test as high as 50 Mbps down, and this was WITH people on their laptops and tablets. Anna, I want your bosses to know that you the best! Today started off rainy and cloudy and my dining room had water dripping all over it from the leaks that are still not fixed! It's been frustrating to live in a house for months when the walls and ceilings are torn out! After putting plastic and towels on the floor, I had to drop my sons phone to be repaired since he cracked the screen. In addition, I was starving. In the same parking lot as UBREAKIFIX there was a Starbucks so I stopped in. Truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks but I do love their croissants and chai tea. I just want to start off by saying that this Starbucks location has a really amazing ambience. As well, it also has amazing baristas/workers. First, I want to say that I got a nice welcoming from both Javi and Gabby. They were both professional and friendly. I just want to give a special shoutout to the one and only Gabby!!! She was very kind. When she asked about my drink she made exactly how I wanted even though it was a bit difficult. Highly recommend Gabby as a barista. I come here almost every morning for my daily coffee fix. I've switched my usual order from the S'Mores Frappuccino to the Caramel Macchiato. The baristas remembered that and asked me about it when I made the switched. I appreciated that they remembered what my usual order was. They always have a staff member waiting by the mobile orders section to chat with customers waiting for their order. It adds a nice, personal touch to the experience. It also helps the waiting time go by quicker. I am writing this review today as a shout out to Lupe. I normally order my caramel macchiato with soy milk. She accidentally made the drink without it, but caught her mistake as she was able to give me the drink. She gave me the version with the wrong milk plus the version I originally ordered. I had a surprisingly rude experience on Thursday 8/30/18. I ordered a tall caramel frappuccino and the female barista (forgot her name) placed my drink on the counter for me to pickup. I grabbed the drink and asked for a straw. She threw the straw across the counter instead of placing it in my hand like a human being. The straw fell to the floor. So I asked her for another one, this time with my hand outstretched to receive it. She again threw the straw on the counter. I expressed to her how rude it was to throw the straw, not once but twice and she rolled her eyes. I chuckled, because really? I told myself that maybe she was having a bad day, it happens. I walked to my car and realized the drink was gross (to add to the bad experience). When I walked back inside to request a manager only then she tried to apologize saying, "I didn't mean to be rude." Here's my issue with that apology. If she didn't mean to be rude she would have apologized when I notified her that she was BEING RUDE in the first place! I'm a loyal customer to Starbucks and I was disappointed by my visit here. As always, my go-to drinks are my passion tea apple juice and green tea lemonade. The barista told me that they are out of apple juice and lemonade. I think this location needs to be more efficient with their supply stocks. I have never been to a Starbucks location that has ever run out of anything (except for maybe cup holders). Suffice to say, I was disappointed but I wanted to get my lemonade fix. So I decided to try out their new artisan handcrafted sodas. The flavors are: root beer, golden gingerale, and lemon-ale. My bf got the golden ginger ale and he liked it. I liked my lemon-ale as well. Both drinks tasted light and refreshing. It kind of reminded me of Izze soda. They don't use corn syrup or preservatives. All sodas are caffeine-free. I love coffee and I love Starbucks. PARKING Small parking lot shared with other businesses. Many people had trouble finding getting a spot or parking in general because it can get narrow with cars coming from both ends. But I really like the location because it is right across the mall. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR Nothing much to say - it's like any other Starbucks out there! It looks, feels, and smells like your typical Starbucks. MENU I like my coffees hot and my teas iced. White Chocolate Mocha and Vanilla Latte are a favorite as is the Passion Tea Lemonade and Mango Black Tea Lemonade. SERVICE After ordering, I asked the barista if I could get some ice in my bottle. She was not very busy - there was probably one other customer aside from me. Expecting her to help me out when she finish whatever drink she was making, she instead told me to get in line and wait my turn again. This was completely pointless. Having just been in line, what is the point of me going back when the line is empty and it is my turn again. It takes less than fifteen seconds to throw some ice cubes in my bottle. After going to the register to "wait my turn" the guy working literally took my bottle and walked over to where I originally was when I asked to fill my bottle with ice. I was dumbfounded at the lack of time management and organization during this visit. I do not feel welcomed because instead or providing adequate customer service, I was pushed down the priority list when it was not particularly busy. There is only one or two Starbucks in town where i feel i am truly welcome. Main st and Town and Country is it! A few of the Baristas took time to know my name (even though am clearly using fake name when i order... I mean come on Superman lol) and Greets me like we are close friends. Good place to study. There a huge table that can fit 10, and lots of chair spaces and sofas. There are also tables with umbrellas outside to sit. The workers are nice and it's usually a quiet environment to work. Also, my coffee frappacino today was one of the best I have had in a while :) read more

Saw the Grand Reopening sign so since if been here before. We thought we'd try it out after the Main Place mall shopping. The new Ordering App would not work for is on Labor Day although there was parking and very short line. While my GF was inside someone tried to steal a gentleman's laptop bag, but she pointed the thief out and he ran outside to grab it back. I had a Tall Mocha Frap and she had the new Cold Brew. Slow service, with only one guy making drinks, and you have to watch your bags, but the drinks were just the same as any other Sbux anywhere.
