The staff is amazing. They are all so pleasant and kind and know everyone's name. One unpleasant thing that occurs occasionally, is customers try and take advantage of the store and or its staff. They'll say something like "hey would you mind heating up my breakfast in the oven?" Then I'm there thinking, "Huh? WTF are you talking about? You don't walk into a pizzeria and ask them to toss your shitty ass digiorno in the oven for you." Boundaries people. Also, if you spill YOUR DRINK, that's YOUR FAULT! Don't give someone an attitude when they're giving you a new one. Think about it. Take a breath. Be reasonable. This location is walking distance from where I live and is a great location for a pick me up with all the different bus lines running through that intersection. 1. Parking - I have always walked but noticed ample amount of space in the back for a couple dozen cars. 2. Sitting and Working - Love it, enough room to sit at the bar or share a table with a few friends, and outside patio tables to people watch. 3. WIFI and Outlets - Great and great! 4. Drinks and Staff - Never any issues and the young staff is kind and easy going. read more

Awful service. The barista mopped the floors shortly before attempting to make my drink. No where in between her mopping the floors and making my drink did she stop to wash her hands. I approached her and the barista next to her started smirking and laughing as if it was some sort of joke. Very unprofessional. I then started speaking to her and made her aware of her unprofessionalism. When I did this she became very defiant, aggressive, and sarcastic. Barista Jasmin refused to let me redeem the stamps in exchange for breakfast sandwiches because she said they are not stamped on redeem cards. But most stores are run out of cards already while the promotion is up until April 10th. Why all other stores in the area stamp on the Starbucks sleeve instead and tells me it's good to all stores? Why only Jasmine in this location refuse? And she told me because she is the only one follow the rule. And why I am able to redeem free breakfast sandwiches with the same sleeve at other stores? Do NOT go to this Starbucks on a Sunday morning. I place a Mobile order the same time as my friend ordered. My order was a coffee with cream. Her order had more than one drink and food. The app said my order would be ready by 7:48 a.m. Her order was ready at 7:55 a.m. Mine was not. There were not too many people in the Starbucks so I worried that my order had been picked up by someone else by mistake. There was an employee behind the counter so I asked her if she knew the status of my order. She cut me off and told me she could not help me because she was on her break. She did not ask anyone to help me so I went to the next employee. This employee tells me I have another ten minutes to wait. This would mean my order of a coffee would cream would take almost thirty minutes to process. I told them to cancel my order. read more

All of the people who work here are wonderful, with the possible exception of the current manager, who I hear is being moved. I have been a loyal customer here from the time they opened at this location. My kids were babies when we started as customers. I can definitively say that I have been a daily customer for the past 5 years nearly without exception. That said, I am most upset, disappointed, distraught over a recent experience. There is a huge knot of regulars who know consider each other to be friends. One of us in early May was told that he could no longer be allowed in the store because he had offended a customer. (or frightened her or intimidated her? don't know) "no name", our friend and regular, always has a kind and uplifting word for everyone. I am a die hard, original feminist, and yet I love when he greets me saying "good morning beautiful" because he is sending me a hug in those words, nothing else. Apparently, he was friendly in a similarly verbal way with a high school girl and she told her mother and her mother complained to management and management told "no name" that he was no longer welcome at the store, based on what the mother told her. I wonder why the "management" did not think to ask one of us, his many friends. to explain to him the laws of political appropriateness? I GET those rules and know that any one of us could have lovingly explained them, because we ALLL know that Mike's intentions are only to spread positivity. I wonder why. Of course I emailed Starbucks Corp my concerns and they had the district manager call me. Jennifer (the district manager) clearly lacked empathy and asked where I had gotten my information and told me that "noname should call us himself." (I responded to this with the fact that no name was too humble and kind to do so.) Jennifer told me that she would pass along the info. I then received an auto response from Starbucks Corp. thanking me for my input and assuring me that they would look into the situation. A month has passed. No word from Corp and no one has called Mike to apologize. I am the farthest person from black vs white, but I have to ask, was no name asked to leave because he is black and frightened a white high school girl who attends a girls (mostly white) school who told her white mother that a black man told her that she was beautiful? or even pretty? or that he told her to have a wonderful day because she was beautiful? or or or?? If no name had been white....hmmmm....would things have been different? What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"...? Oh wait, I get it....tell no name to leave because no one will complain that he was unfairly treated? Initially I did not think that this was a black and white issue. I thought it was poor judgement on the part of Starbucks management, at whatever level. Since then, a number of people have suggested to me that in fact it was at the end of the day about race. I am not a fan of this location. There is never enough parking, it is too small of a location, and there is never anywhere to sit. They have structured the inside a bit, but it is still too small. They also made a mild attempt at the parking lot by making some of the spaces with a one hour time limit, but it is still not a good lot. Driving in and out is ridiculous as well, because there are usually too many cars, cars waiting for spaces, and cars driving around looking for spaces. You can enter from Washington Blvd, or from Allen, and when exiting, I recommend exiting onto Allen from the northernmost driveway, because the sourthernmost driveway has a bad blind spot from cars parked on the street. On the upside, there is excellent customer service here. The staff is calm, courteous, and I've never had an error in my order. The parking problem keeps me from coming here though. read more

I want to thank Rose for her great service. I was there this morning, after a trying morning at home. I was treating myself to a nice ice tea. I asked for large tea, the trenta size and asked for four pumps. The employee that prepared my tea, she asked me to let her know if my tea was sweet enough. I tried it and it could use some more sweetener. I thanked her and she added more sweetener. No one has ever asked me if my beverage was just right. I was amazed by this question. I forgot to ask the name of the employee before I left the store. I called the store and spoke to Tanya (not sure of the spelling) and she told me that the employee was Rose. For the most part the Barista's here are respectful and curtious but one of the female employees treated me so poorly. I purchased one of their cups that 1000 customers must have fondled and ask for a drink. She was even going to rinse the cup EVEN AFTER THE THE LITTLE SKINNY WRETCH DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR. And I had to ask her to rinse it she, I Kid you not, Just ran very quickly only one part (and not even the part that feel on the floor) through lightly running water. I started going to starbucks a LOT to get my kids some of those tasty tea drinks they sell here. After a few months I accidentally noticed that they would squirt this liquid into the drink and I asked the people there what it is they put in the drinks and they told me that it is high fructose corn syrup and that it is already mixed with the tea's flavor. After finding out about that I explained my kids what high fructose corn syrup is and why we will stop buying these drinks at starbucks. This garbage is really unhealthy and I was really disappointed and surprised to find out starbucks was using this chemical for the drinks. I walked in here and there was only 1 other customer on a wed am. I ordered 2 lemon cakes. The woman who rang me up got a call on her cell (and after charging me) walked away chatting. After a few minutes with no staff offering to help I asked if anyone was getting my lemon cakes. Someone else came over and said "oh she got a call. I'll help you. What did you order?" She then came back and said they were out of lemon cakes. I asked why I wasn't informed before I was charged. And she very sarcastically " she probably didn't know". No apology. This is a great store with wonderful employees. When they don't give out the code to the restroom to people it's because they haven't ordered yet. They give you the code after you order because people come in and use the restroom and aren't actually customers. Alison is really awesome, and she does her job gracefully and well, and she might not look it, but she's HISPANIC! So don't be mad if she's doing her job! She treats people fairly. I feel compelled to share my experience and why I will not return to this Starbucks. I work in a profession where many of my clients are very young (18-24) former foster youth. My work revolves around providing them help/support to transition successfully into adulthood. A lot of what I also try to do is build their self-esteem, care about their lives, and have respectful interactions with them because in many cases, it's not something they have experienced often. Understanding the limitations of my clients (no car, difficulty affording public transportation at times), I often travel to them and meet them in public places. I arranged to meet one of my clients at this Starbucks. We've met here several times and it's never been a problem. Today, when I walked in, he had been waiting for about five minutes and was there with his girlfriend. They are both young and Hispanic/Latino and they were wearing casual clothes, T-shirts/tank tops and jeans/sweats. He told me that he had arrived a little early for the appointment and was planning to order a drink but wanted to use the restroom first. When he asked for the bathroom code, he was told in a rude and hostile manner by the supervisor on staff that day, Alison, that he could not have the code because "he must order a drink first." He was so taken aback that he just resolved to sit there and wait for me without using the bathroom or ordering anything. His girlfriend had asked for her name and information so she could file a complaint just before I had arrived. The minute I sat down, they told me this story and I could see the supervisor looking at us and she seemed nervous. I pass as white and I was dressed professionally, in slacks and a button up. I also have many, many times, gone into a Starbucks and asked to use the bathroom before ordering a drink. Not once have I ever been told the restroom was for customers only and/or denied entry. The supervisor came over to us and proceeded to say multiple times (facing me most of it without looking at my clients), "I am not that way," and "I am not like that," and "I am a good person," without once actually apologizing for her behavior to them. She mentioned that she had eventually given the code to my client, but that was too little, too late. If you have to tell people you aren't that way, you actually ARE that way. read more

Omg Starbucks is supposed to maintain a clean, preventative establishment; however, the restroom is so dirty and it smells like someone pooped badly ... VERY bad ventilation. I had to hold my breath the entire tire using it... the smell was awful. I told the girl making the drinks if they can do anything with the restroom smell & her first respond was "no" and said unless we prop the door open which is fine but her appropriate respond should be "let me let my manager know" NOT "no". If I could leave a no start I honestly would. I came here Wednesday afternoon left my baby and my husband to wait for me in the car assuming a small iced black coffee with caramel would be the quickest thing to get. I go in and prefect! There is no one there literally no one I ask for my small coffee black iced with caramel. There are about three employees and I'm guessing the owners where there too I'm not sure but anyway I stand back and seriously expect my coffee to be ready in minutes since I'm the only one there waiting. Mind you there's this gentleman at the pick up station telling one of the employees how to make him so lemonade drink just seriously not even caring I'm there and I thought since the girl was busy with him the other two employees would see me waiting at least for 5 minutes but nooo they r talking staring at an oven. One of them who seriously should of had his hair properly combed because it looked so wild and out of place looks over at me (he's the one that took my order) finally decides ohh let me help her out. He makes my drink in less than 1 minute and I'm out. I have been going to thia Starbuck's since it opened. It has only gotten better over the years. Like the other reviewers have stated, it's a very homey and comfortable place to hang out. They did a beautiful job remodling too!!! The barristas are great and have even made my husband a convert from "his" Starbucks. One morning my husband went in after taking the kids to school for me as I was not feeling well and came home with my "usual" complete with "feel better Lisa" written on the cup!!
