Iced Matcha Latte

The service here is really great actually. Ashley, in particular, goes out of their way to be really sweet and caring to every single person who comes in, in every situation. While studying here for hours, it was impossible to miss how exceptional Ashley was with everyone. This is the kind of person who should be promoted. Beyond the service, the drinks have always been how I want them, with zero hesitation from staff to adjust things to your liking. Lastly, this is a really pretty location, it feels nice and airy because of the awesome high ceiling with skylights and many windows. I don't usually go to starbucks but this location is open late while all the other coffee shops around me are closed and I've grown to really like the staff here. Great job you all! :]

I don't visit Starbucks too much but we were in the area and decided to get a drink for a little walk around the neighborhood. I love the interior design of this location and it feels like an independent coffee shop and not a chain. It was super clean and quite a few seating areas relax and enjoy your coffee. They serve drinks in glass cups if you are dining in and you can get free refills!

Nice quiet space to drink our coffee! Extremely friendly employees, very accommodating and personable. They're always smiling! Like "Cheers," they know our names! Coffee is great. Parking on the street and in the lot. You need a code for the restroom. This is the Starbucks to stop at if you're in SouthPas! Now you can get your coffee in a mug!

OMG, this evening I had a pretty great hankering for something pumpkin-ie... lol So I grabbed another pumpkin muffin, I'm home in front of my smart tv watching HALLMARK and enjoying a bit of my chamomile tea paired along with my righteous Starbucks pumkin muffin. Delicious! Especially down to the dollop of cream cheese frosting on top. I'm definitely feeling cozy sitting by my window gazing at the illuminated green. belt outside the bedroom window. Waiting for the heavy rain to burst forth and the wind to pick up. Button down the hatches and the shutters for your windows The Rains have arrived!

My first time visiting this Starbucks, it was a bit crowded with after school kiddos. Lots of orders but the staff was friendly and super quick in getting the drinks made!! I ordered a tall skinny vanilla latte iced with 2 packs of stevia. My drink was made perfectly!! The store is spacious and in a great location. You can seat inside or outside. Plenty of parking. Great vibe and nice staff!! Thank you south Pasadena Starbucks!!

Michelle (Chucky) and Andrew are superstars in their customer service. I have visited many Starbucks from here to Switzerland by far they are the best at what they do. Especially since COVID good customer service is hard to come by. Thank you two for making my day a little brighter.

We arrived just after they opened at 7am and were quite literally the first customers of the day. Thanks for opening your doors to us! This place is such a unique blend: part hip-hop vinyl shop, part artsy cafe, and all-around good vibes. The music selection is top notch, and I loved browsing the cute merch and randomly awesome stationery items. Service was super friendly. My husband had a great conversation with one of the guys behind the counter about the shop's minimalist decor, and we learned Two Kids has been thriving for 10 years. I hadn't been in since right around the pandemic, so it was heartwarming to see they made it through and are still flourishing. The espresso was absolutely luscious, and as a bonus, we got the prettiest latte art with hearts in our drinks, big love for that! Really wish I had more time to hang out on the comfy couches in the middle of the shop and soak in some vinyl tunes. Can't wait to come back and spend a morning here the right way, highly recommended!

The employees were really nice and the service was quick! The inside aesthetic was cute. Most of the people inside had coffees, so definitely recommend getting that vs a matcha.

Also, the restaurant has a cozy environment with music and fun. Overall Teamarrow is a great place to order drinks, snacks, and a variety of asian food. They also have a touch screen device that you can use for to-go orders which is pretty good if you're like me and you're scared to order. The popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and orange green tea are what I usually order. They make those very consistently so you know what to expect. It gets busy here when school kids are hanging out but if you are outside of those windows, it doesn't take too long. Service ranges from friendly to standard, so no complaints there. The one issue I have with them is they show a loyalty program in terms of entering your phone number -- if you order online as well as the register. But I've never gotten any points. I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. But he never actually asked my name and info, and I've still never received any points since, despite having ordered here about twice a week for the past several weeks. It's not a deal breaker but it's strange.

I love a spot with a lot of character, which is exactly what this place is. Vibes immaculate, huge variety of coffee/matcha drinks, and fresh food all around. I went for breakfast burrito and my usual iced vanilla latte. Great combo. It tastes great, and I loved the salsa verde on the side. It was a good portion, and I left feeling satisfied. I absolutely loved sitting outside and having fresh air with a great view. You are given a number at the counter, and your food is brought out to your table. I've also seen their promotions on Instagram and love that they do themed menus/events for holidays and such. I have yet to check out the San Marino location, but that's next on the list. Till next time!

Found seating outside but moved some plates ourselves from one table to another to find shade for us the kiddo. Grabbed a high chair and got seating set up. A few folks were setting up to play music out on the patio. We ordered inside as expected, thankfully the line wasn't too bad at that time so it went smoothly, though the prices are still higher than the average mom/pop sandwich place (but we anticipated this). We waited a bit for food while the patio band played. Ambience was pretty nice. Our friend's sandwich came out first and about 5 minutes later our food came. However, the Arnold Palmer we ordered didn't arrive with the food so we asked if they'd come back to bring it, and we were told they'd be right back. We waited probably another 5 minutes but drink still didn't come so I went inside to ask about it and saw the drink sitting on the back counter. So I asked staff if I could pick up the drink and they handed it over. Our friend's sandwich (the Jester) looked pretty filling while wife and I ordered/shared the Crown Jewel with cheese and mayo on the side. The Crown Jewel was pretty meh overall. Wasn't as stacked as the Jester and the bread fell apart as I ate it, despite the mayo on the side. At the end of eating someone came by to grab our order numbers and ask how things went. I commented on the wait for the drink and was told they couldn't find us, which sounded strange because they found us when bringing the sandwich and we still had our order number. But she said we could get a free refill. Since I wanted to take advantage of the refill I went inside to inquire but the order counter had gotten extremely busy. So I asked one of the bus/wait staff outside if they could grab my refill. He directed me inside and he commented how busy they were but I said I didn't want to wait in the huge line simply for a refill, so he offered to meet me inside to get the refill. Eventually I did receive the refill and we left. Overall, for the price of the food I felt the service was very average bordering on subpar, and the food was meh for the price. I don't blame the staff as they all seemed to be working very hard, but perhaps they were understaffed which would be more of a management issue. We basically bussed a couple tables on our own and waited what eventually amounted to 20-25 minutes for an ice tea/lemonade. I pre-tipped when I bought the food, which I kind of regretted but also felt bad that the employees were understaffed so I likely would have left a tip anyways. I don't plan to go back anytime soon. Wish the food and service were better

Beyond its innovative drinks, the café offers an impressive lineup of freshly baked pastries made in-house, ensuring there's something to suit every palate. From the moment our order arrived, the vibrant presentation left us even more excited to dig in. **Banana Cream Matcha: 4/5** The Banana Cream Matcha reimagined the classic matcha latte with a decadent twist. Topped with a luscious layer of banana-infused foam and crunchy almond toffee, it offered a satisfying textural contrast, while the housemade banana purée, featuring chunks of real banana, delivered a fresh, naturally sweet flavor. The latte was exceptionally smooth and creamy, but it leaned a bit too milky, causing the matcha's earthy notes to become fairly subdued. It was also slightly sweeter than my preference, making it feel more like a dessert-inspired matcha than a true matcha-forward latte. **Pistachio Croissant: 5/5** This was easily the highlight of our order. The croissant featured an incredibly flaky, crispy exterior that gave way to a light, airy interior with beautiful buttery layers. It was generously filled with a rich, nutty cream that accentuated the pistachio's deep, roasted flavor while maintaining just the right amount of sweetness. Finished with a white chocolate pistachio drizzle and a delicate dusting of powdered sugar, every bite was indulgent yet perfectly balanced. Overall, Danbi Coffee shows plenty of promise through its specialty drinks and well-executed pastries. While I'd love to see a bolder matcha presence in their lattes, the exceptional pistachio croissant alone gives me every reason to return and explore the rest of their menu.
