Left because of how dirty it was and it's 7am. I don't stare at people's floors but if you obviously notice how much trash etc is on the floor and stuffed in the corners of the seats, it just doesn't make for a very inviting atmosphere. Can't comment on the coffee or the service which I'm sure was fabulous but as someone who wanted to spend the day here studying it had me looking up the next Starbucks. read more

Excellent baristas! Friendly service! Changed my drink from hot to iced for me...even though I forgot to put iced on my mobile order!!

Today was kind of disappointing. I paid 55 cents extra for extra caramel. Usually they do it all around the cup. Today it was just on top. If I were to come back to this location I would order with a barista. Because when I ordered via mobile order no one gave me eye contact when I walked in nor acknowledged me at the bar waiting for my drink. I waited until a barista approached someone else to give them their order but when I approached the bar, all the baristas suddenly had to move elsewhere. No one gave me eye contact for a solid 5 minutes that I was standing there and it wasn't even that busy. They were more so chatting or filling the grinder with beans or what have you. They kind of glanced at me but just looked away quickly before moving on. Finally one of the baristas said "mobile order?" Reaching for my drink already even before I replied. Now, if you knew that's what I was standing there for, why couldn't you hand me my drink so we could all get on with life? I felt like an idiot just standing there waiting patiently for recognition. read more

If I order a drink with a syrup in it, I would expect that the syrup is mixed in, not sitting at the bottom of my cup. If I ask for a new cup so that I can "mix all the syrup at the bottom of my cup" I would think the "barista" would offer to mix it for me instead continuing to complain about her hiccups to the other employee who couldn't even give us a smile when we went to order our drinks. I should mention that there was no one in front or behind us, giving her plenty of time to make the drink correctly and not half-assed. Sorry, but the customer service here sucks. read more

I would expect a little more sales analysis from a multi-billion company such as Starbucks. If you're making billions of $$ selling coffee, something which most ppl consume in the morning, you'd think Starbucks would have the the insight to provide enough employees to accommodate customers in a reasonable time frame. Happened just today this morning. Spent 25 minutes waiting in line and getting my coffee all together! They are so slow from the register to the coffee maker. A long line has formed and they don't seem to care that it's 6:30 in the morning and everybody is rushing to work. Not recommended if you want fast and good coffee. I came to this Starbucks when it was practically empty. I waited 10 minutes for one drink. When I came up to ask them about it, they tried lying to me saying that someone must have taken it, but I was there seeing all the drinks being made. Never once did they put my drink out there. This is my normal SB I go to almost every morning. My usual drink is a Caramel Frappuccino extra caramel no whip cream. 90% of the time is done correctly, the other 10% well lets say just stab me in the eye with a dull pencil. A majority of the employees know me there so they know exactly what I want and how I want it but every time this particular employee is at the bar making the drinks she can never make mine right even if her life depended on it. Then when I tell her that there should be no whip cream she makes a fuss about it and scoops out the whip cream and just about half my drink that I collected so many soda cans to pay for. Ok maybe a little exaggeration but you get the idea. My pet peeve is why bother to write on the cup the drink order if you aren't going to read it in the first place, next time just draw me a stick figure. I would like to give this place 4 stars but every time my star-o-meter starts to rise that one incident brings it back down. Hopefully upper management reads this and make some changes. read more

This starbucks is clean friendly staff its not close to my house but its worth the drive because there is plenty of seats. I dont like the one on Lewelling/Hesperian Blvd its always busy no seats available people come there and use tables just to put their books on while their studying. This location is great! Lots of seating, lines aren't too long in the morning, baristas are super friendly (like, too friendly before I get that coffee in me), and they remember everyone's drinks. I've been to this place 3 times but today is my first time ordering ice coffee. The staff are friendly and nice but I am super disappointed with my drink that I ordered. I ordered a venti ice coffee with a little room for cream but I didn't realized that all I had is ICE on my drink. Literally, I drink my coffee within 5 minutes and that's when I saw that it was all ice. Ice was more than half full and I even saw the barista who made my drink even removed some of the ice. I had never experience this with starbucks before. And to think that I go to starbucks everyday. This is a big disappointment for me. Just what the hell? If I wanted just ice, I could have just asked for a whole cup of ice. Is this really how they make coffee here in this starbucks because this is ripping people off. Wow! Can you imagine a Starbucks that doesn't have a line? Only a new Starbucks! This one is fairly new and off the beaten path; part of the retail section of a fairly new apartment/condo complex (on the corner of Mission and Tamarack (one block north of Whipple). I dropped by for the 1st time today. Staff was very nice. It was very clean and fairly big inside. Since it doesn't seem to get as much foot traffic, they still had a lot of the pastries that are usually gone at this time (12noon) of the day at other Starbucks. Staff was friendly. I plan to frequent this branch so I can enjoy a cup of coffee in relatively relaxing comfort. read more

Maybe it's the constant change in staff, the fact the entire staff are young adults who don't care about good work ethic, or maybe it's the lack of a supervisor being around... who really knows. What I do know is that this location has gone to (insert explicative here). Every time I go in, there is garbage on the floor, food crumbs everywhere, spills that haven't been cleaned up, and the staff is usually standing around goofing off instead of working. Today I waited 10 minutes to get my drink AND THERE WAS NO ONE IN LINE AHEAD OF ME. I saw 5 staff members and not a single one was wearing an apron, three were actually working (not on drinks have you), one standing around talking and goofing around drinking his own drink, and the other two wandering around the back doing nothing. My boyfriend had to go to the counter to ask about my drink, only to find out that no one even pulled the ticket out of the machine. So I was sitting around waiting while they were literally goofing off unaware there was another drink to make. Hello?? Have fun at work, sure. But you're there to do a job. Do you job first, then have some fun. This location and staff... what a joke. read more

I really like this Sbux. It's about 7 minutes away from my house walking so I can walk there very easily. The coffee shop is very nice and there is always plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee. The baristas are always very nice. I come here a lot with my mom during the weekdays in the morning and this is our favourite Starbucks :) read more

Relatively okay site.. I think the staff is okay. The area is a little shady. It's located near some low income apartment homes that house some really nice people. Pretty much a standard Starbucks. If you're going here, make sure you don't sit by the window. Regardless of the weather, the A/C is on full blast. You will freeze your butt off. I started stopping in more frequently to get drinks and realized they have been messing up my order pretty often. Also, when I order breakfast sandwiches to be heated up they always ignore the beeping and leave it in too long, the edges get burnt and sometimes half the sandwich is all hard from being over cooked. It seems to me that the workers are always running around avoiding their set position because they would rather be doing a different job so things take way too long and there is no smooth flow. read more
