I stopped by for a nice little banana Matcha and I previously had one at a different Starbucks and that one had a great taste, but I stopped by this Starbucks and it was so nasty. It tasted like sewer water, and it was giving Dunkin' vibes with how inconsistent they are and clearly not following the recipes that are given. This location is not the best of all Starbucks. We did a mobile order and got to the drive thru to be told our drinks were not ready. But then we got to the pickup order window and received the wrong order after we had confirmed at the order mic what we ordered. Then when we got the correct order of Matcha, they were loaded with just ice after in the mobile order we insisted on light ice! on top of it all the Barista had a mean attitude on top of it all. I stopped by this location on my way home from lunch (social distancing style) this afternoon. I didn't want to sit on the drive thru line so I went inside since it likely wasn't busy inside which it wasn't. I wanted to see if I could use my Starbucks gift card but couldn't due to the fact this location is limiting their in person contact with customers and didn't have a line and people hanging around in the store. But I could still use my app to order in the store. Smart idea!! So I used my mobile app to order inside the store and the order came quick. The employee even gave me a complimentary pumpkin cake to take with me. I suggest you go here--I'll go back next time I am in that area! read more

I always come here after church with a couple of my church friends and despite this place having a bunch of spaces for parking, indoors not too much..we would always just order our drinks and have to leave because this place is always packed on sundays... the staff are sweet but very slow, the line always takes at least 10 minutes, no matter how packed this place is haha. The drinks are always made well despite it taking a bit of time to make. Not the best starbucks I've been too but it's not too shabby - it's definitely bigger than most places I go to. This place is all about the Clover Machine, that's all you need to know!! ...I should end my review with that, but I'll elaborate a bit. A few months back I noticed that this location had been closed for renovations. At the time I thought, maybe they're just sprucing the place up to possibly drive more sales or something like that. The first thing I noticed when I got to the counter is that they were carrying reserve blends. I inquired about the blends and the barista told me if I wanted to try it I could get I a cup freshly made in the Clover Machine. Having heard about the clover machine I was crazy excited try a cup made in it. Make no mistake, the Clover Machine lives up to its hype. I had the Kona reserve blend and it was probably the best cup of coffee I ever had! ______________________________________ Here's how the Clover Machine works: - They freshly ground the coffee and pour it threw the top of the machine. - Regulated temperature hot water if poured over the fresh grounds. - It then, vacuums the coffee and pushes it back up causing the coffee to foam and aerate. - The coffee is then vacuumed back threw the bottom and comes out threw the spout. **Any coffee the location carries can be made in the Clover. ______________________________________ I think the locations that carry the reserve blends and the Clover have a more thoroughly trained staff, because their knowledge in coffee seemed to be a bit better than other Starbucks locations. My go to Starbucks on my way to work and boy, are they good. Of course the formula's the same as in just about every Starbucks. What differentiates this location is their excellent, cordial and congenial staff. Always smiling and anxious to please, whomever does their hiring clearly knows what they're doing. I don't think that employees this good could be randomly selected. When there is a line, it moves quickly. Drinks and food are prepared correctly and in record time, especially given their volume. The issue with many Starbucks locations is their lack of consistency, generally caused by inconsistency in the quality of their staff. If anyone reading this has been disillusioned by their local barista, I invite them to check out this location. It's everything you can hope for and perhaps even a bit more. Located in the strip area of food eateries and things with plenty of parking. Like most Starbucks, the place gets busy and there's alway a line. The employees manage to move the cashier line along. To my surprise, unlike some other Starbucks I've been to, this the order comes out very quick so no complaints with the long lines. 4 stars only because I noticed during my short wait, that the tables are dirty. They seem to have shortage of staff and everyone is busy making and placing orders that no one is available to clean the sugar and crumbs left on the tables and sweep the napkins on the floor. There's a few tall tables, lounge seats, and round tables hear. Wifi is available so people tend to stay to surf the net in their tablets and laptops. read more

I was around the area doing errands and I really wanted to try the new butterscotch drink that Starbucks came out with. When I arrived at this location I was actually wowed cause it's probably the most spacious and cleanest Starbucks I've ever been too with the friendliest staff. The barista counter was super big and they had plenty of tables and chairs for seating. Perfect for anyone that wants to get work done and it's not too noisy at all. Small cozy Starbucks. Sometimes a little too small. I have come here a couple of times and not gotten seating which is sad for me. I do come here often for a couple of reasons. 1. Closest to my house. 2. Best one out of all of them within a 15 minute radius 3. Can grab dinner and a coffee since there are so many food places in this strip mall. 4. Clean 5. Friendly baristas. 6. Shopping is decent in this mall too. No clothing stores but good stores to grab a coffee and then wander around. 7. Cozy. 8. For the most part it's quiet. So you can study or read or have a nice conversation. However I wish it was a little bigger for those busier times. But overall I really like this place. Never had a bad experience. Rte. 23 North Manager, congratulations! Your employees are professional, friendly and helpful. Every time, our drinks are made better here than any other local store. Unfortunately, I live closer to a Pompton Lakes Starbz, which is currently improperly staffed. The nasty employees are a couple of rude people that ruin it for the kind and helpful ones that are there. The staff at Pompton Lakes don't care to read option changes and more importantly are not taught basic customer service skills. When I complain about my hot drink being only 2/3 full or my LIGHT ice drink being ALL ice, they are either dour or downright rude and never offer me to remake a drink like the former staff did. Pompton Lakes used to be a wonderful location that we would enjoy staying at and even made friends with some of the staff, meeting outside of starbz to enjoy hobbies together. Please get a new manager for Pompton Lakes who will hire employees that appreciate good customers like us. read more

I really like this location. Even though it doesn't have a drive through, and is out of the way I stop there often on the way to work. The place itself is always clean and the employees are friendly. Hit this place most mornings before work. Nice wide open floor plan with tables along the edges. Gives a really nice feel. Staff always goes out of their way to be friendly. Don't usually stay to drink my coffee, but there are always people sitting around working on their laptops so I assume the environment is good for being productive. read more

The WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. I have been going to Starbucks for many years and I have never received this poor customer service. The red headed Barista is completely unprofessional. I was placing my order and all I was getting were nasty looks, rolling of the eyes, blank face and ver short. My Starbucks app did not work so I had to run and get some cash out of my car. I came back in and I'm standing right next to the register and this woman completely ignores me. I finally said to her are you going to make me wait back on the line? I am a LOYAL customer of Starbucks who uses your app DAILY! I ordered a venti black tea lemonade with no ice as i do everyday. No store has ever given me a problem except this one. She REFUSED to fill my cup to the top because I wasn't getting ice. Seriously?! When I asked for a manager, she RUDELY told me she was the manager. AS A MANAGER MYSELF, customers should always be treated kindly and left happy! I paid for this size, I should get A FULL CUP OF WHAT I WANT! As I mentioned no other Starbucks has ever given me this ridiculous problem. I will be giving a horrible rating to this Starbucks and will be telling people about my experience. This is my home Starbucks, so I frequent it very often. I've had many interactions with the lovely baristas and 97% of the time they are friendly, efficient & genuinely happy to help. Especially taking into account how busy this place always seems to be no matter what time of day, the staff is smiling. It's pleasant to be around this kind of energy. My drink is always consistent, and I enjoy dealing with the staff, which I think is mutual. :) I only took away one star, because the cramped parking lot at this joint is annoying. Not the employees' fault, but be warned the people parking in this lot can get aggressive & crazy at times (specifically during holidays). Lol. It's great at what it does, which is serving delicious caffeinated and un-caffeinated beverages, and fresh baked goods. I am a huge fan of the pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin loaf in the autumn. Heck, I like it at any time! The staff has never been less than friendly to me, and I have observed them being downright neighborly to regulars. I can't afford to be a regular - too expensive! I love this Starbucks. They are always friendly! I order from here almost daily. The staff is amazing. Always welcoming and they spend time to talk to you and make you feel like you belong. Even though the product is the same as almost all Starbucks it is nice when you feel appreciated and remembered. Some other locations I walk in (whether first time or as a repeat customer), order, stand there and wait, get my order, and walk out and the only thing said to me was "what can I get you?" "$3.65" and "Venti Americano?" That is never the case at the West Belt Plaza location on 23 in Wayne!!!
