We went for brunch, got to sit outside on a nicely overcast day (so, not too hot) and both enjoyed their Kali Club sandwich, although we got it fixed differently. I don't eat bacon, so mine came without it. My husband eats bacon, but he hates avocado, so his didn't have the avocado. The sandwich also had arugula lettuce, tomatoes, and basil aioli all on toasted sourdough bread. It was tasty, but it wasn't anything phenomenal. We also ordered mac and cheese, which was made with fontina, provolone, and Parmesan cheeses, and cavatappi pasta with toasted breadcrumbs on the top. That was very tasty and rich, but again, it wasn't a standout recipe, either. I think if we ever return here, we'd get something different. Absolutely love this place! Boyfriend and I tried it since several people recommended it - we're coming back next time we're in town! I had the Figgin' toast. The ham was delicious, warm and not too salty. The fruit on the side was perfectly ripe (sadly so rare nowadays.) The French toast itself was awesome! The fig cream cheese and syrup were sweet but not overwhelmingly so and the whole thing was pretty well proportioned - it was a little too much food but I loved it so much I tried to finish it anyway. Oh man this place was delicious. After a mediocre dinner experience the night before, I was being a picky Polly about where to go the next day. But after seeing the delicious menu, the 4 1/2 star rating, and all of the mouth-watering pictures of food, I was sold on this spot. I came here with my boyfriend and brother on a Saturday around 2. It was fairly crowded outside, but plenty of room inside. I ordered a non-fat latte to start (delicious!), and a Fig burger. The burger was melt in your mouth levels of deliciousness. Fresh, homemade bun, savory meat, fig jam, blue cheese, caramelized onions, and greens. Every bite was amazing. My boyfriend got the mac and cheese, which was equally amazing. The restaurant is located more in a corner location that is hidden away from the street. The decor is relatively modern, giving a nice feel when you sit down. Optionally, you can sit outside, where there is a nice open decor but lacking in shade. Now, on to the food: The food is what really penalized itself causing it to earn only three stars. I really wanted to love the food, the colors and food was off to a good start. For starters, the soup was great. I had their clam chowder, the only wish I had would be for a thicker chowder, but not everybody shares the same opinion. The other soup that I sampled was a kale soup, which was a unique offering that many restaurants don't traditionally serve. Overall, the soup was off to a fantastic start and got me excited. However, things took a turn when I had their entrée. I had ordered their State Burger which has glazed onions and bacon. The taste wasn't awful, but the taste was definitely odd. But, the kicker that forced me to give it two stars was the plastic that I found in my burger! There was an entire piece of plastic that was stuck in the center of the party. That was a horrible turnoff for the restaurant. After informing the manager, their response was not the best. They offered no apology and quickly tried to run away with the dish. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and had no time to wait for another one to arrive. But, their overall attitude regarding their mistake was summarily unapologetic. Overall, the restaurant may be a good one. But for me, their service and food caused me to give them a two star review. Maybe if I am in the area again, I can try again and see how they do. The Toast with Burrata and tomatoes was amazing, very good, very fresh and you can tell local - quality ingredients. I had the Fig burger - NOT something I would normally try but the combo of fig jam, bacon and blue cheese was intriguing. And it was great. Although I try to avoid it because it could be deadly to your body! Came here with my two friends on a Sunday morning. It was so beautiful out, we decided to sit outside. The menu is pretty simple. Not many options to choose from, but the options they have available are actually difficult to choose between. I was stuck between the Figg'in Toast and the Lamb Panini. Thankfully my friend got the toast, while I, the lamb panini. BOY were they BOTH good! I wish I had the stomach capacity to have eaten both (fat status I know.) The Lamb Panini was so delish! The lamb was super moist, flavorful, and tender. Never really had lamb in a sandwich so it tasted pretty amazing. I fell in love with the freaking toast! Fig cream cheese? We sat, looked @ menu and put our orders in. We got: The Misto Salad, Brussel sprouts, apricot Brie toast and bff got the candy apple burger with garlic fries. We got served the misto salad on a filthy plate, told Richard about the plate in which was visible, he returned salad on a clean plate shortly after. We then got all our entrees shortly after except The candy apple burger. After telling both Richard and hostess of where the burger was which was approximately 30 minutes no burger done with ALL our food but missing burger. Both Richard and Hostess said it was a misunderstanding in the kitchen. Ok sure but how does that happen when we were the ONLY ones in that restaurant. Killed it all to be honest. Just wasn't happy or satisfied. Bff lost appetite shortly after. Food was good I'm not complaining about that. But the flow didn't flow it just was off completely. Richard did apologize but which was nice but mid dinner he left us flat, MIA on other tables. Food was about $33 bucks for 2. Worst place seems like management needs some attention. I won't be back. I am so bummed that I didn't know about this place until I googled "bottomless mimosas Santa Barbara." Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The service was amazing, and our waiter was one of the nicest and most friendly servers we've had. If I'm being honest, we went for the mimosas and didn't really expect to be wowed by the food, but we were! I had the fig burger and garlic fries, which was incredible. I tried really hard to eat it all. My fiance had the sausage and kale soup and the hot chicken sandwich, and both of those were amazing as well. I want to try everything on the menu now! Also, the bottomless mimosas are the real deal- they're not pre-mixed in pitchers that are half juice and half bubbly, they pour them fresh at your table and then add a splash of juice. We did a tasting tour and started with pomegranate then moved onto guava, passionfruit, mango, and finally peach. The server kept them flowing! All of this was under $100 too- can't beat that for some really amazing quality made from scratch food and unlimited drinks! The building that the restaurant is in is beautiful as well. But the courtyard was irresistible. We ordered 2 State Burgers and enjoyed them (with arugula, provolone, avocado and great, fresh tomatoes, sprinkled with pepper, just delicious). Loved their buns and the aioli basil sauce. Great fries to go with! Very nice, upscale gourmet, tasty burgers. Service was nice, we were trying to pick our beer (they have a great selection of local wines and local indie beers on tap) and the waitress (very knowledgeable) offered to bring us a few beers on tap that sounded good to us to sample. So we tried a Summer Ale Firestone (good, bit like a Sam Adams summer ale or Hefeweizen) and a Telegraph beer (local indie brewery) - which we chose, Amber, darker, what we wanted. It was nice to have that offered, it never happened to us before. I'm sure their breakfast food is great, we want to try it sometime. The atmosphere was pleasant and our server was highly attentive and unlike other "bottomless mimosa" spots the server was great at keeping the mimosas bottomless.
