It took almost 40min to get the order and that was after waiting about 15min just to place the order. The wait wouldn't have been a problem if the food would have been better. The sandwiches if that's what you want to call them were torn apart and just a mess. Overly greasy, over cooked and not edible. Disappointed in the service and food. Not sure if we will return.

My husband had the turkey club wrap, with the same contents, but chose onion rings as his side. They were fresh and tasty. A quick and satisfying lunch. The kind of flavor you get from a cook with one hand. The waffle had a brown skin on it. Whether or not it came from the wild that way, nobody knows. I recently visited The State Line restaurant on a Sunday morning, and despite the expected crowd, I had a great experience. Yes, we had to wait, but that's understandable given the time and the popularity of the place. I can say the wait was definitely worth it--the food was delicious, and the pricing was quite reasonable. A couple of standout dishes were the biscuits and gravy, which were absolutely delicious, and the hashbrowns, which I customized with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Both were fantastic and really hit the spot. However, I do have to mention the bar stools--they were very uncomfortable, especially for someone like me who's 6'5" tall. This is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. One more tip: the space is limited, so I recommend getting there before the crowd to avoid a long wait. The service was good, and the coffee was even better, which made the overall experience very enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend stopping here for breakfast. Just be mindful of the seating if you're tall! read more
