My wife and I just returned from a long vacation. Part of the trip took us to Williams, AZ where we had dinner at The Station 66 Italian Bistro. Over the course of a week we at there twice and had a fantastic desert another night. On the first dinner experience was on 20 April and we had Megan as our waitress. She did an OUTSTANDING job for sure. Told us a lot about the restaurant, menu items, and chatted a bit about our trip. Excellent service for sure. She also told us about the nightly chef's choice desert and it was like crazy good. That night it was lemon mousse. Crazy good, just like our dinner. The next time we were there was for the desert again, and it was chocolate-brownie cake dish. Yikes it was great. Cory and Amber were our servers that evening (Amber was in training), and they were high energy, pleasant as can be, and very kind and helpful. Cory certainly seemed like a great mentor/teacher for Amber. The third time we were there was for dinner again. My wife and I spit a pepperoni pizza with fresh tomatoes on the side. I must have misspoke for sure, as they delivered a cheese pizza with pepperoni on the side. I felt so bad for misspeaking, but they thought nothing of it and made us a new pizza to our liking. It was amazing. The crust was one of the best we have ever eaten. We also had the desert....was cheesecake with strawberries on the side and drizzles of chocolate along the plate and on the cheesecake top. Excellent would be an understatement for sure. Cory was our waitress, and on her own for the first time. She was amazing. Kind, funny, helpful, and as pleasant as can be. Oh yeah, she was cute too...as was Megan!! Anyway, if you are ever in Williams, AZ this is certainly the place to visit for an evening of great dining. read more

A delightful surprise in the heart of downtown Williams off Route 66! As we were passing through and decided to explore our nearby property on the outskirts of Williams, hunger struck. Skeptical about finding gluten-free options, my boyfriend assumed it might be a challenge in town. However, a quick Google search revealed this pizza place with promising gluten-free offerings, including pasta and low-gluten pizza dough. Upon inquiry, I discovered that the entire establishment uses the low-gluten dough, boasting a Napoli-style thickness - a pleasant departure from the often overly thin and tough crusts. I was pleasantly surprised; each bite felt like a revelation, and I had no concerns about potential discomfort later. Opting for the supreme pizza, we were treated to a divine flavor profile and an exceptional crust. My boyfriend ventured into the macaroni and cheese with buffalo chicken, appreciating the departure from the norm with large shells instead of the traditional macaroni. We got a recommendation from a local to try their wood oven pizza and it was very good. We only tried 3 kinds of pizza: pepperoni, butcher's block and carbonara. All three had the best dough I've tried in a long time (even better than mine!! ;-) The carbonara's egg & pancetta combination is delish, the butcher's block is packed with cold cut meats and the peperoni one has good balance of cheese and pep. The rest of the food was good as well, the sauces are fresh and don't have the "canned" taste I'm always afraid of. For deserts we only had room to share a tartufo, a great gelato covered in chocolate shavings, but the other choices sounded pretty good. Amber was our waitress and she was fenomenal! From the moment we sat at our table she went the extra mile to make sure that we, the 10 of us, were enjoying the food and our experience at the Italian Bistro. Event though we got to the restaurant right at their closing time, we didn't feel rushed or that Amber was not providing the same service as if it was the start of her shift. So if you happen to be on Williams while driving on the ol' Route 66, stop by and try their pizzas. You'll be happy you did. read more

This place is popular but I think it's overhyped on yelp. The pizza was meh. First of all it was pretty cold inside. We had to keep our jackets on. Didn't help that whenever the door opened a blast of cold air would come in. For the wintertime the restaurant should install a heavy curtain after the door to keep that cold air out. Like the east coast does. Also our pizza came out cold. The crust was cooked well (with nice browning) but the pizza cheese, pepperonis, olives, and bell peppers were cold. It didn't help that the cold air cooled what little heat our pizza retained even faster. So lemme describe the scene. We're sitting at the bar, hungry and tired having just driven from vegas, it's cold and we're trying to stay warm with our jackets, and a overpriced pizza arrives that had cold toppings, cold gummy cheese on top. We eat it because we ordered it and don't complain because we're so hungry. It was not a nice meal. read more

I assume they have 2 yelp accounts due to reopening 3 months ago? Went for lunch and waiter gave us the lunch specials and we ordered what we thought was going to be off the pasta menu and the half price specials. Nothing special, alfredo and lasagna. Got the bill and we were charged full price instead of the half price for the lunch specials the waiter gave us. All he said was he thought we ordered the full serving since the specials are smaller servings. No adjustment to the bill or even a sorry. Not only that but the full price doesn't even come with salad or anything. Not sure how much smaller the servings could get. We didn't make an issue and just paid and left and won't be back. Food was OK but definately not for the full price. read more

Mary is Rude. It wasn't a very busy day when we went to eat on the upper balcony, but Mary seemed very disorganized and flustered. When I asked her if they had a particular drink she told me that I could go downstairs and ask the bartender. If they didn't have it, she suggested I should go next door. There were six of us at the table and we only had two menus. I asked her if she could explain what was in one of the meals and she said, "It tells you on the menu." I said, "I don't have a menu. Can YOU tell me?" She left the table without a word and returned several minutes later with another menu. We go to Williams quite often but we will not be returning to this restaurant. I get better service at the Dairy Queen down the street. read more

One of the hostesses there is horrible. She racially profiled my group and she racially discriminated us by not giving us a table even though there was free tables outside with nobody out there. She even had the nerve to yell at one of the other hostess is because that one was helping us. and she had the nerve to direct us to the other restaurant next door because it was a Mexican restaurant. If we would have wanted Mexican food we would have went next door. I think this hostess should be fired. We will never ever ever go to this restaurant ever again. And owners you should think that one hostess. And I will tell everybody I know not to go to this restaurant. This restaurant doesn't even deserve a star they deserve a negative star. read more

Great food using fresh ingredients--pizza crust is amazing! Max was our waiter, and he was attentive, friendly, and our food arrived very quickly! I usually like to try different restaurants when travelling, but it was so good, we ate there 2 nights in a row! It is conjoined with the Historic Brewing Co, and we had drinks there and watched the football game. Outdoor seating upstairs allows you to watch the tourists strolling by on Route 66, and they had live music on Saturday nights during the summer season. Every employee we encountered, from the hostess to the bartender, and, of course, Max, was polite and welcoming. You can tell they appreciate every customer that walks through their doors and works hard to please them all. read more

Wifey and I ate dinner there twice over the Labor Day week-end. Food was amazing (highly recommend their Lasagna!!). Outside seating was fun and gave a great view of Route 66 happenings. First night, our server was Ethan, and he was great!! Pleasant, funny, attentive, helpful (... even started up the outdoor heaters when it started to get chilly). Second night, the Pizza was delicious!! Indoor seating is very comfortable and great atmosphere. Second night server (can't remember her name) wasn't quite as good as Ethan, but it was quite busy due to Labor Day and everyplace in town was busy. Highly Recommended: Ask for Ethan, order the Lasagna and sit outside under a heater and be one with Route 66!! read more

Had an all around great meal. Pizza crust is wonderfully light - to be honest, you could reduce the cheese on it by half and it will still be delicious. Veggie soup was super spicy with a beautiful creamy flavor. Waiter gave us some helpful tips on the Grand Canyon as well as the local zip line - thanks Steven! Service was excellent - extremely attentive maitre d' helped to keep our table clear - we didn't want to leave. And I have to mention the music - classic rock guitarist Dustin Horsehair was a real bonus. This was our first visit to the little town of Williams and we hope nothing changes until we come back again. Highly recommend this place. Make sure you sit outside if weather permits. read more

This place is overpriced, lacking options, and lacking service. First time I went here I got a pizza. Quality was ok, size was tiny. I have paid more for less, but overall just felt overpriced (3.5 stars maybe). Second time I came through it was the only thing still open. I ordered chicken alfredo and a Caesar to go. My alfredo was about a half portion of noodles and no chicken, and my salad had no dressing. I called them up and I was told "well I guess I can give you a side of chicken". I am tired of paying $50 for shit quality an hour after I order. If there are other restaurants open go there, and if not, McDonalds is a safer bet on getting what you expect. read more

My husband and I were in here last weekend, it was the WORST Italian food I ever had. I ordered the artichoke, spinich pasta w/white cream sauce. What I got was mushroom pasta. I told the young waiter "Armando" that the food was very dry and he apologized and brought me extra sauce. I then told him that I had ordered the artichoke/spinich pasta and he said, "oh yeah, I'm sorry about that", "would you like me to take it back"? I said, "no", since I'd already started eating it. this place is definitely appealing to the tourist trade. Frankly, the food is average. Minestrone was thick and virtually devoid of vegetable variety. The marinara sauce is better at the Red Raven and honestly better out of a Ragu jar. Service was fair to poor. We had three different servers during lunch neither of which was adequate. Tables are very small for parties of 3 or more. Wine prices are exhorbitant and beer choice is devoid of domestic types. All in all, we will stick to other choices in town, namely Red Raven and Pizza Factory. read more

We were coming back from a great day visiting The Grand Canyon and by chance, pulled into Williams, AZ. We were glad that we went into town and stumbled into Station 66. The Service was exceptional, pizza was good and the unique beer and wine selections made for a great experience. The staff bent over backwards to please us. Toby was very informative about the beer and wine choices and also helping one of us put together a take home growler and wine sampler as well. Great place, certainly does not look like any Italians, has atmosphere, great barman Ian who has exceptional knowledge about the local wine brewed in Flagstaff. Great bloke very friendly. We did not eat here tonight but the food looked good and did overhear diners saying they had enjoyed it. We did however get a nachos take away from the joined nextdoor restaurant and they were fantastic. Would certainly recommend Station 66 and Ian. Thanks to everyone for a great experience. Big fan of this place in Williams. We sat on the rooftop and it was so nice! We had our 19mth old daughter who was allowed to run about which is such a nice change. Great food, a well thought out menu and a great selection of locally crafted beers. We were looked after of by Aubrey who was such an amazing host and a real cutie-pie. Aubrey was seriously interested in our travel stories and added her two cents. We wrote her an Australian playlist based on her fave Missy Higgins. read more

This Italian Bistro invites you in with a warm dinning experience to escape the bitter cold outside. The menu offered a glimpse into an Italian kitchen with the Route 66 twist. The hostess, bartender, and our server Nicole, were very attentive and personable. My meal, the Bistro Burger was delightful. Feta cheese and generous helping of crisp bacon topped the thick grass fed ground beef patty. I am sure to visit again soon and try the Macaroni and Cheese. read more

Pleasantly surprised with an impromptu visit here. From the very beginning Kyle was awesome and helped us avoid a potential crisis of a "starving" kiddo by bringing him some milk and oranges:). We ordered the kids cheese pizza, the calamari (best I have ever had) cheesy bread and the Mona Lisa Salad. Our order was out really quickly and the food was fantastic! The restaurant was super clean. You pick up a menu and decide your seat then order at the bar. Tyler at the bar was nice and the example of perfect customer service! Our food came out and Maethe was more than perfect! Cruz was seen bussing tales with great speed and attention to detail, which I appreciate!!
