We came here after a Blackpink concert around 12:30 AM, and there were only one or two tables occupied. By 1:30 AM, the place was PACKED, with a bunch of people waiting outside. I love that this KBBQ spot stays open until 4 AM which is perfect if you're craving Korean food after a night out. Coming from the Bay Area, I'm used to KBBQ being expensive, so I was surprised to find that it's only $27.99 per person here. Everything was pretty good and tastes like your average KBBQ place! They have a variety of sides and appetizers like cheese corn, steamed egg, japchae, ramen, soup, and more! My only complaint is the service. It was difficult to communicate with the servers and get our questions answered. It also took a while to flag someone down when we were ready to order more meat or sides.

It was 1 am, my boyfriend & I were craving yummy kbbq. The usual spot we go to was closed so we came here instead. We walked in & were seated right away. Meats - We chose the AYCE B menu since A didn't have beef tongue & large intestines which are my faves! Verdict: they were ok. Their Marinated Short Rib was good! Pork belly & brisket were decent. Side dishes - ok / a lil bland, except the kimchi. The kimchi had a nice kick. Also saw that it's an extra charge if you refill the sides & rice more than 2 times which is not what we're used to. Parking - free parking lot & street parking available. Overall, I didn't love it but it's a good pick for late night cravings since most of the other AYCE restaurants closes earlier. Price is comparable in the area but I've had much better quality meats.

I have been to this restaurant a couple times and I think it may be under new ownership or management. Nonetheless still a good experience! We did the 27.99 and you get a lot of different meats with it. The staff switched out the plates with good timing and also helped cut some of the meat during their down time. A downside we faced with the experience was that we were told their credit card systems weren't working so it was cash or Zelle. I hope this was just a coincidence and not a frequent thing that happens. Overall it was still a great experience with friendly staff. Parking is $5 if you eat in the complex too. Definitely worth giving a try!

They are very short staffed and unorganized. You're lucky to get a seat. The staff is not aware on how to serve. We wanted to start off with 3 orders of the same meat (3 orders to start). The waiter said ok. Next thing we know the manager came up to and was telling us we were ordering wrong and rudely educates us that only 1 type of meat allowed. Wish we were told by the waiter.. The side dishes were ok. There was some hair in the potatoes. Yikes! The meats were fine but frozen. The bulgogi is not bulgogi! It looks so gross. Feels like it was frozen as well. The place was VERY loud. It was so hard to talk to each other. If the music was a bit lower it could've been better. Overall, this place has change. From their staff to the rules and it's so so disorganized. Keep away!

I went to try the all you can eat KBBQ and this is a solid place while affordable. The service was quick and helpful. They continued to check on us and help out when needed. The food was great, I wasn't a fan of the brisket (usually am), but the short rib was delicious! The seating set up is organized and quite spacious!

The KBBQ is very good. The service is quick and efficient. They helped me cook and cut the various proteins. My favorite was the Beef Bulgogi, beef belly and boneless short ribs. The ambiance is simple and clean. Open til 4am. Great for a late night spot. Parking is tricky but it's like that at most places in Ktown. I came on a Sunday so I found a free parking meter.

Another day in Korea Town, and another new dinning establishment with great food and ambience. Food: They offer AYCE - all you can eat menu with 3 levels of different meat with affordable prices, A, B and C. The meats are well seasoned Service: the lady manager is really nice and friendly and attentive. Ambiance: the restaurant is a well lit room and also enough to have a nice, sweet dinner with someone you fancy. I definitely rate it 4 out of 5 Stars. Thank you for the wonderful food, service and space to have a special dinner with my friends.

i think this is a solid option if you need some quick AYCE kbbq. Given the price however, i would say it's overpriced for the quality of meat and service. it was a busy saturday night and all options were more than 1 hour so it ended up working out, but i wouldn't pay so much in the future when i could just walk over a few feet and get much better meat and service. we did have to flag down the staff multiple times as they were difficult to find. there were a couple of ladies there that were helping out the entire restaurant, but our server wasn't found very often. also didn't love how the server threw our raw pork on the grill overlapping with beef. also there was a service fee for a group of three people ?? read more

BAD SERVICE ALERT! Came here on Friday night, group of 6 people. They only allow 3 meats each round, so we ordered first 2 rounds, 6 meats total. On the third round, the old lady came and we placed 3rd order. 3rd order was 2 portions of shrimp and 1 portion of beef tongue. It came with 4 pieces of small shrimp and few pieces of beef tongue. The old lady came with attitude, and was really impatient when we order the second bowl of salad. Music is WAY TOOOOO LOUD, so it kind of covers up her mutter. What we don't under stand is that she is really nice to the other party, who are not Chinese. Nor any other party is Asian. She smiles to all other party, just not us. I'm here for my birthday, and been giving attitude. I doubt she just hates Chinese. When the other server tried to helped us, she took the staff back to the kitchen, and yell at them. We are fine being charged for 18% service fee, but not for this type of service. BAD SERVICE, will never some again and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Came here after a Laker game since they close at 2 am. There is a parking lot but it's either $3 for self parking or $5 for valet. There was no wait at around 11:30 pm on a Monday night. For AYCE, we went with the B combo ($37.99) per person. Our server Yeji was very sweet and was able to give us soju while I was writing this review so don't forget to write yours for free soju!! The sides were pretty good. The jap chai and beans sprouts were my favorite. The kimchi wasn't that bad either. The meats were definitely premium. You can order up to 3 meats at a time. We ordered the brisket, pork jowl and pork tongue. The jowl was my favorite. It took a little longer to cook since it was frozen but it was worth the wait. The brisket was half fat and half meat so that's a plus. Some places have no fat in their brisket slices. I also enjoyed their sauces that's provided. Salad was pretty good as well. Our next order was beef belly, pork belly and another round of brisket. Again, premium meats and you can taste the quality. Also, the portions when you order meats are huge which is a plus! Overall, good food and vibes. Staff make you feel at home. I would recommend their combo B as you'll have more than enough meats to choose from. read more

This place was just what we needed after a late work night. Open late, fast customer service, sat down right away (it's a Wednesday night btw), & easy parking in the lot. We ordered our basics - brisket, pork belly, & marinated beef short rib. The banchan is fantastic too: mac salad, jap chae, fish cakes, bean sprouts, cucumber & Kim chi + salad. The rice paper was fresh, unlike some places where you know they were jst defrosted lol and the rice itself was a good portion in a good sized bowl. STE 101 is amazing!! Their beef is fresh with great cuts and decent marbling. And the price is very reasonable for AYCE! Their service is great - we were able to get a hold of our waitress within a reasonable time every time. The ambience is also chill, its not ever too packed and they have plenty of seating. The music is not too hot and there isnt a crazy amount of smoke! Parking was $7 on Sunday. As a Korean, I would recommend and they are legit. Ste 101 was great, we had brisket, bulgogi, pork belly and short ribs i would say all the meats tasted great. Sides were on point and the lady that helped us was attentive. I enjoy the squash and potatoes that they put in their noodles though sometimes the potato is less mushy/cooked through than what I prefer. The portion sizes are generous so definitely come hungry or you can share as well. The jowl is a fattier cut while the bossam is meatier.

Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.

He literally brought every meat I could think of. He is the best server I've ever met in the world. He brought exactly the meats we were dreaming of. This is probably most worst experience that I have never had in Korean restaurant. We placed the order and wait more than 30 mins and there is no food to come. This is Korean bbq place. no food come? The grill was on for 30 minutes and the servers forgot to turn it on and forgot to order, so we eventually had to change the grill. I checked with Waiter & Waitress. Both of them, said they don't know even what I ordered. Endless, Waitress brought the bbq and she blamed to other waitress to us without any apologize. Despite the food recommended by server, they threw away the food without any explanation. The people in the back came much later than us, but they ate food first. It is very unprofessional & unacceptable for customer services. I went to eat, but I had too much mental stress and food is no good at all. I won't come to this place anymore. This place STE 101 Apple Maps said was open till very late! We paid for parking (7$) since we couldn't find any parking but it was well worth it because we could barely walk after leaving this place! The food was amazing! Meat quality was 10/10 for all you can eat. The soju was great! Although the yogurt flavor (my favorite) wasn't on the menu, they had it! Came late on a weekday night, there was no one waiting outside so we were able to go in and get seated pretty quickly. Once seated, we realized they were pretty busy since it was only a team of two working(Mi hue & Benny). A little bit of a wait for them to get to the table, but please be respectful if this happens due to their hard work and trying to get previous orders done in a timely manner. They both were very helpful and nice, checked in on us periodically and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was the cherry on top to the food. Beef belly, rib finger and bulgogi were the favorites. Meat selection was great for what we selected, but the service is what's going to keep us coming back. read more

Amazing food good service I live down the street and this is my favorite place in Korea town. Our server was mire beautiful than gold and rubies, and selflessly served us with joy humility. Not sure about the prices, because I am still reviewing while my food is cooking, but I can say that the meat and sides are deviously seasoned, and the rice served is stick free and fluffy. I love the server server the most, because she looks, and cooks, and behaves like Korean majesty, and is committed to the satisfaction of they're clients. Hands down the best food I have ever eaten. My partner and I were visiting some friends in the area and these heavenly dishes (and a couple of sides of rice) were the only thing requested. The sides themselves had great flavor and AMAZING crunch. But really, I think the crispiness of the veggies is what makes the sides so good (and addicting). The sauce was a balanced mix of sweet and spicy (very mild, if I had to rate it), which was also great over rice. Service is always perfect, food is always on point, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Amazing for the price. $27.99 for AYCE KBBQ is a lot lower than what I've seen from other places and the meat quality was just as good. We went late on a weekday so it was really slow, but service was attentive and got us everything we needed. The place is very bare bones and minimal, but still great. It doesn't have that crazy rave-y vibe that some kbbq places have, which is nice when you're just eating with your partner. I think this place definitely starts getting busier as the night goes on as it's open really late. But I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area! This was first time at this KBBQ restaurant and I am for sure returning the marinade in the meats (boneless short rib, bulgogi, and chicken bulgogi) was FIRE for sure recommend these meats if it is your first time here. The service was above and beyond - not comparable to other KBBQ spots I've been to. The server would spot by and come help us cook, cut, and serve our meats. The server was so sweet and continuously checking to see that all was good with our food. The ambiance was realllly chill.
