everything about the chicken and swiss is pure perfection 10/10 the mediterranean toast was good, it had a lot of balsamic glaze on it so it was very acidic but delicious nonetheless, loveloveloved the cream cheese the avocado...

There honey vanilla latte is a must try and the Mediterranean toast so yummy. They have the best gluten free bread I have ever had. Go check them out. This place is worth to stick around.

Amazing as usual!! Great customer service even with their busy and overwhelming crowd. Chandlor/Chandler- so sorry if I misspelled your name and didn't want to ask you to repeat due to the line. The whole staff had great teamwork and so amazing with their service! The food is fresh, delicious, and a good fill. Place is nicely decorated and welcoming vibe. Good variety of food and drink options. Lots of available parking but can be a tad tight due to the shops available in the plaza.

Great coffee, great service! Second time here and loved the coffee both times. Today I got their cold brew and though it was the honey with vanilla cold foam, it wasn't too sweet, perfect amount of sweetness for me.

Solid sandwiches and coffee. Ordered the Turkey Avocado Sando and the Banana Hazelnut Cold Brew. Sandwich was great. I added bacon for a nice crunch, but good country bread and fresh ingredients. Cold brew was a bit sour, but the banana hazelnut flavor helped cut that. Didn't eat in, so can't speak to the service or ambiance, but would get a sandwich and a different latte next time.

Wanted to try a new coffee shop and luckily this place had a sale the time we ordered! I got the Brad's Way Iced Shaken Espresso and it was BOGO Free! It was light, but still had the espresso kick I needed. The hints of hazelnut topped it off. Wish it was given in a bigger size! Similar to the 85 degrees Coffee. If you like that, you'll like this.

Stopped by this local cafe and overall had a solid experience. I ordered a medium honey vanilla cinnamon latte and a "next level" breakfast sando, total came out to $25 with tip. The barista was super nice and gave me a heads-up that the latte runs on the sweeter side (which I usually love), so I appreciated the warning. The drink was definitely sweet so if you don't like sweet drinks, I'd opt out, but still tasty overall. The "Next Level Breakfast Sando" was good and filling. Only small downside was that the avocado looked a bit past its prime, though it tasted fine overall. I came around 6:30am and it was pretty quiet, but it picked up fast between 7-7:30am. The cafe looked clean, has a handful of seats, and they played modern popular music, which gives it a nice vibe. Friendly service, solid food and drinks - I'd come back to try more items if I'm in the area.

Steadfast Cafe is a small little spot tucked away in a shopping center, and it was such a pleasant surprise. There are tables inside and outside, and it had that easy morning vibe with people hanging out and sipping coffee. I ordered the Breakfast Sando to share with my broke bestie, aka my 10-year-old son, and it absolutely understood the assignment: flaky, buttery croissant, smoky thick-cut bacon, fluffy eggs, melty gouda, and a sriracha mayo that gives it a little kick without taking over. Rich, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a breakfast sandwich. My son is a breakfast sandwich connoisseur (he gets them everywhere), so I asked for the official verdict. He took a bite and said, "This breakfast sandwich is incredible." Case closed. Service was fast and genuinely friendly. She wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I love that kind of warmth. Also grabbed an old-school Martinelli's apple juice, which was the perfect little throwback. Come for the croissant situation, stay for the kind service. Easy recommend.

A cozy cafe located perfectly in the corner of a small business strip. A sizeable amount of seating for those wanting to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with their meal. The staff is friendly and fast with their service. I ordered the Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte which is smooth, rich and not too sweet. I also ordered their Ham and Swiss Croissant which was good.

I was craving a croissant sandwich and found this spot through Yelp. It looked promising online, but when I got there, it really was a true hole-in-the-wall. The croissant looked great in the photos, but in person, it was pretty small for the price -- about $15 for a sandwich with just egg, avocado, ham, bacon, and lettuce. Definitely on the pricey side for what you get. I also tried the buttery lavender matcha, but it was just okay -- I've had better at other matcha spots. Service was friendly, but overall, I don't think I'd come back. Cute little place, just not worth the hype or price for me.

Came here Saturday morning with the bf on our bikes for a quick brunch based off yelp reviews after seeing this place. Parking is dicey in this little strip mall, when I realized I'd been here before a couple years back for the donuttery a few doors down but never wanted to come back because of the parking situation that I saw again today as we were leaving. Some dude in a truck parked in an off way sticking out, making it difficult for people to get by his parked truck. It's a cute place. Outdoor, some indoor seating available and a decent menu. No place to actually lock up your bikes but you can probably lock it to their gate. We didn't have to though because we ate outside by our bikes without issue. He ordered the lox bagel and I got the next level avocado toast. There are 6 outside tables and when we were there 4 were empty but the wait was still a bit long so don't come if you're in a hurry or order ahead of time to avoid the wait. Next level avo toast was good. I think I would've preferred no feta cheese and some thin sliced red onions instead. Lox bagel had tomato, which was not bad, but we could've done away with that and had more lox. All in all good portions and healthy alternative to what I normally don't like at pancake/waffle breakfast diners that do superfluous amounts of carbs with no balance in protein unless you pay for an extra order of it. Bummed the cookie on the side of their sign is faded because it's super cute (with freckles!) didn't order coffee because we biked there but will try another time.

I was just on my way out of town and had to stop for breakfast before a long drive a quick yelp search brought me here. It was 8:30 am on a Sunday and busy but the girls working here were so nice and helpful. I took a breakfast sandwich on sourdough. A big americano and a coffee cake for the road. The sandwich was great, exactly what I needed. The coffee is great and the coffee cake was surprisingly great too. Highly recommend

Steadfast Cafe is a family-owned cafe located right next to the popular donut shop The Donuttery in Huntington Beach. This is the flagship cafe and a second cafe is located in Long Beach. [Parking]: Easy and free plaza parking - I had no issue finding an available spot on weekdays. [Atmosphere]: Cozy indoor vibe with a small outdoor patio area. A great spot to catch up with friends, but nothing to see in the surrounding area so not the best spot for an ideal date. [Menu]: I asked for a recommended drink and the cashier suggested Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. For food, Avocado Toast and Next Level Breakfast Sando are the Yelp's top highlights. They also have not coffee options like matcha and bagel options. *** Next Level breakfast Sando (two eggs, gouda, Siracha mayo, tomato, lettuce, avocado on a croissant - $15.95 + half ham & half bacon additional $2): Frankly it was one of the most expensive breakfast sandwiches I have ever had, but they are not holding back on ingredients and presentation. The taste matched the presentation - crusty croissant, smooth texture from avocado, nutritious egg, and crispy bacon - it was one jam-packed sando. Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte (honey, vanilla and cinnamon infused whole milk latte with our signature golden espresso - $5.25 + $0.50 for hot medium 16 oz): Other cinnamon lattes from other shops typically tasted overly sweet, but this one the sweetness was just right and had the right balance between honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. *** Expensive sando, but it was certainly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in recent years. A solid 5-star on breakfast sando and latte.

No pictures because the food was gone so fast! The best cinnamon roll I have ever had (get it warmed up), one of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had (highly recommend the jalapeño asiago bagel), and a great shaken espresso (Brad's way). Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for something different but so glad I came in. The staff was super welcoming and genuine. Their baked goods are AMAZING and they have such different, great tasting flavors like the Earl Grey Vegan cookie or Guava Cheese Danish (avg $4-6 per baked goods). I also got the lavender lemonade to drink! All amazing! Disregard how small the parking lot is and make your way in and you won't regret it. read more

This Cafe opened two weeks ago, right at the beginning of February 2023. It's in a very popular location, right next to The Donuttery parking lot, anyone in Huntington Beach can tell you where that is probably and before the Salvation Army store. The owner is Brad and his wife who welcome their customers with such a warm, humble character that you feel invited and served here. Their coffees are fresh made and delicious, kindly tell them your preferences and Brad will customize it to your taste. If you are curious about something? He is so considerate to offer you a taste, if it is a sample easily made, as he did this elderly couple who were curious to try their Shaken Basil Coffee. I love Italian Expresso, therefore I wanted to try their Coffee Con Panna, it's basically 2 shots of warm expresso with cream, "yes, it was perfect"! They have a bakery section that includes a tray of Gluten Free Muffins and the rest are baked goods such as their Shortbread Rasberry Cookie, "that was my favorite"! You have to try that, it taste similar to Porto's raspberry cookie but not as hard, more soft and fresh. If you want something tea-like and refreshing, try their Basil Cold Brew! Definately refreshing, light for those who like Iced Tea but something stronger like Coffee. Why come here? Well, it's a quaint coffee shop, with a welcoming environment, they charge you what coffee prices should be despite being fancy, they are "not greedy" not going with the trend, they ask "how much would I be willing to spend daily on coffee" to indulge in? And they're allowing you that plus more, for under $10 to buy a baked dessert to enjoy. Nowadays, $10 is becoming all you can afford going out the door just for coffee, it's so sad. However, Steadfast exclaims "come have some coffee, take a quiet moment for yourself and eat something too". What makes this place 5 stars? They serve good coffee fresh, they serve to SERVE and they want to do well for their family and yours. Good hearts and good business is not always readily available with hardworking people nowadays as we notice new generation businesses becoming lazier opening at 11 and 12am for cafe's. Are you kidding me? Steadfast Cafe is here for all those early morning people who have to go make a living, they open at 6am so you can grab your coffee to wake up and get going to work hard during the day, before your 8am shift starts. This coffee shop is a hidden gem in HB. It's family owned and you could tell, the vibe is "homey." I've gone twice in the last month, 1st time I got the grilled cheese and it was soo good, 2nd time I got the lox and it was amazing. You could taste the quality! Totally recommend! read more

This place is absolutely my new favorite breakfast place! The food is incredible weather you choose something trendy, delectable or something simple like a bagel. They are partnered with Kean Coffee (Amazing) and have a huge selection of Crema and Black Market Bakery goodies! All of these wonderful things are made even better by their incredible customer service. They are genuinely really sweet people who actually care about you as more than just the customer. Bravo! Every time I come here the staff are always friendly, and the food/drinks are perfect. I'm a little obsessed with the Turkey BLT sandwich they have. Ooh, and the breakfast sandwich too. Plus, I am so glad they carry the almond croissants from Crema Cafe. Now I don't have to drive to Long Beach for them. They have a small outdoor patio to sit at, as well as a few tables inside if you wanted a place to get work done. Not sure if any of the tables have plug access though, I forgot to check. A great coffee shop to go to, if you wanted to ditch the typical Starbucks run. read more

We were looking for a coffee shop and stopped at the Steadfast Cafe. We were greeted by Brad, the owner. He was awesome! He was knowledgeable and able to handle my allergies to Gluten and Dairy. The coffee was yummy! My husband got a lavender lemonade and it was delicious. We also got a breakfast sandwich and a açaí bowl. Fresh food, clean environment and the bonus... outdoor seating area too! Stop in here! You won't be disappointed! read more

Holy smokes, the blueberry grill cheese is not what I was expecting. This was sooo amazing. Gourmet delishhh, best ever. I'm shocked at how good it was for such a tiny shop in the corner of a mini lot. The Brad's Way coffee was also so much better than anything I've had before. This sounds like hyperbole, but seriously, it was very worth it. Just try it. And they were very friendly. Clean place. Just super. read more

Was really surprised to see that this has 5 star rating with the experience we had. The order took wayyy longer than expected. Had to walk my son to donuttery to get a donut because we waited so long. Turns out they gave away our food we ordered twice. Even the customer who received it we heard say "I didn't order this" they were like well it's your lucky day. His lucky day turned into our waiting almost 30/45 mins for an easy breakfast. Haven't been back and probably won't with the lack of service we received and giving away our food twice making us have to wait an extremely long time. read more

My husband , James went here first next to his work and he told me about it and we both got so hooked at this place!! Everyone that works here gives truly amazing customer service! They treat you like family in here!! The food is so delicious , as well as their coffees and drinks!! There pastries are so delicious as well! My husband and I love and treasure this place!!! Well, well, well...only four months old and this gem was impressive. I actually found this cafe through the Public Square app and it most definitely did not disappoint. We were both greeted at the door with a smile and kindness, not your typical snobby coffee shop attitude as I have been experiencing lately in the OC. I have been trying to perfect my own personal turmeric latte and speaking with the owner, I explained how I have been doing it and amazingly he did it...I think he was quite proud of it too...haha!! Thank you so much. It was delicious. I also got the avocado toast, perfectly made, the toast was toasted just right and everything tasted amazing. Thank you again for the kind attitude and I will definitely be back to support you at least on a weekly basis. This place is INCREDIBLE. The customer service is top tier, some of the best I've ever had at a cafe. The owner (Brad, I think?) was awesome and very attentive. They have a wide variety of sweets, sandwiches, drinks, etc. and don't be shy to ask for customizations! They will do them with no problem. The place itself has very nice decor and a minimalistic design. If you need a simple breakfast sandwich or want something more, this place is a must-go!!! read more

5 stars for taste and service!! I would like to thank the staff at Steadfast Cafe. Having friendly employees that are patient, understanding, and welcoming is so important! I had a very bad start to the morning when I came in to pick up some coffee with my daughter. The courtesy that was shown here went a very long way in turning my morning around. The staff was very patient while I tried to figure out what I wanted. They explained different drinks to me and offered recommendations. And to make it even better, the coffee that I ordered was really good! (The overnight cold brew with milk and flavor). Not too sweet, but very flavorful. I will definitely be coming back. My fiancée and I, walked to this small cafe that just opened up. We were happy to see a walking distant place that sells coffee and other variety of beverages plus a variety of pastries. Looks better in pictures that it taste. Had the breakfast sando(stupid name) with bacon. Eggs were over cooked,bacon very thin and cheese was thin as well. Bread was good. Lemonade overpriced,tasted just like Simply brand. Very disappointed I thought I found a good breakfast spot but was left $18 less rich and still wanting a good breakfast. read more

Looking at the menu again, I saw they had a pistachio cream latte. Absolutely loved the drink; cream top wasn't too sweet and paired well with the espresso. Despite being busy, it only took a few minutes for them to make the drink. They also sold coffee beans, which I grabbed as well. Appreciated that they have different pricing for later roasted dates. I was able to grab a spot as someone was leaving. It's a decent spot to sit and get some work done. However, it could be a bit nosy. If not a working spot, definitely for picking up quality coffee drinks! Looking forward to trying out other items in the next visit.

It feels like leadership is focused entirely on "running lean" rather than prioritizing customer service, variety, and satisfaction. Consequently, the restaurant is rarely as full as it used to be, and overall business has visibly dropped off. Additionally, the dining area could use better attention, as the tables are not always clean. Drive-Thru & Morning Operations Attempting to visit during the morning commute has become consistently frustrating due to a rotating list of operational issues: Glitchy and problematic performance with the new app. Cones blocking the drive-thru lanes without clear reason. Doors failing to open on time, remaining locked past opening time of 7:00 a.m. Recommendation: To better serve commuting customers, management should consider moving the opening time to 6:30 a.m.--and crucially, ensure that operations actually begin on time. Summary Verdict This location used to offer great service and fully stocked cases. It has immense potential to be busy all the time, but management needs to shift its focus away from extreme cost-cutting and back toward building the business and taking care of its customers. I've spoken to several of the employees over the last few weeks and I'm hearing that they keep hearing this from their customer base. Hopefully someone in management will see this and bump things up a notch.

Since the menu lists the phoenix oolong MT drink as made with dairy free milk, I asked the cashier if this meant it would be using oat milk, which is what most of the other drinks are made with. The response I received was that it uses "non-dairy milk." I didn't think this was very informative and wish there could've been some better clarification. For the cafe itself, it was VERY HOT inside. Having no AC in this weather for a popular boba shop is quite sad and stingy. The workers were all glistening with sweat. I did visit the restroom, which was even hotter than the rest of the store.

However, I wanted to update my review to reflect my full experience, as my initial 5-star review was written under a bit of pressure. At the register, there's a sign offering a free scoop in exchange for leaving a Yelp review. You're asked to show the cashier your review before receiving the free scoop. What they don't tell you upfront is that you also have to make a purchase to redeem the free scoop. Another thing I noticed is that our ice cream melted noticeably faster than expected. I'm not sure if it's due to the ingredients or something else, but it was something we both experienced. That said, I still recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. They offer a wide variety of flavors, and you do get one free sample per person before deciding. Just keep in mind that the Yelp ratings may be influenced by the free-scoop promotion, the prices are a bit on the higher side because of the location, and the ice cream may melt faster than you're used to. We've been coming here religiously for the last couple of months. One thing I really like is the location. It's super convenient, right next to the parking structure. As soon as you walk out, you'll see a Japanese restaurant, and The Focaccia House is right on the corner facing Main Street with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the people-watching. It's a fairly small place, but perfect for grabbing a quick bite made with quality ingredients. I'll be honest... I haven't even tried one of their Focaccia sandwiches yet! I keep coming back for the eggplant and pasta because it's absolutely delicious. I still have my eye on the lasagna, which I plan on trying soon. The chef in the back is incredibly nice, attentive, and always willing to help. You'll usually be greeted by the same cashier or I believe the other lady who was first there when we first started coming here, whom I believe is, the owner are related to the owner... and she's always friendly and welcoming. I do notice a lot of people ordering the focaccia sandwiches, and they look like a generous portion. If the pasta is any indication of the quality, I'm sure they're worth trying. If you're spending the day in downtown Huntington Beach or visiting Main Street, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. has definitely earned a spot in our weekly routine.
