     a tray of food

I give steak & shake under NEW MANAGEMENT an A for food quality. They get another A for hospitality and speedy service. They are much cleaner, people don't slide around on the floor from a dirty Greasy floor when you walk to your table. The health department has given them a 97 % health score. The Griller Cook even came over and asked me how was my food I said very good. Then new owner came to my table and also asked me how was my food I told her very good. They all seem to care about their customers. A good STEAK & SHAKE IS BACK! in E-Town

Food was good. This was one of the dirtiest places I've been. Floor filthy, booths had hand smear dirt marks all over the back area. Windows are nasty and dirty. It's like no one is cleaning the place. Shake machine was also not working. I was going to eat in but I decided to go out to my car because it's cleaner. I wish I didn't order online before coming here.

This really may be the best burger I've had at any fast food restaurant. The fires aren't five guys, but the Steak 'n Shake burger is better in my opinion.

I'm really unhappy that I got charged 5$ for a shake and the cup it came in is so cheap I no longer have a shake! Seriously ridiculous! I'll never go there again!

Just a TID BIT of the dirty floor. Again, take pride in your business.

Listen Steak 'n Shake, I love you guys. I really do. But I need you guys to step up your game. When I come to Steak n Shake, I expect slow service. I've been coming to the place for years now so I know what to expect. Typically I go to SnS super late at night or after events like prom or whatever because they are open late and it's just fun to sit back at a diner and chill with friends, the longer the wait the more convos come up. HOWEVER, I do expect my food to be at least warm. Things to note at the Elizabethtown Steak 'n Shake (to both customer and employees): 1. You're going to wait, that's just the nature of the diner. If you are hungry and your expecting speedy food within the times 12-7, you need to find a different restaurant. 2. Employees/management, if you expect great reviews, a great staff, respectable customers, TAKE PRIDE AND CARE OF YOUR WORK PLACE. It's a shame to see a classic restaurant go to shambles because of laziness and overall negativity from all parts of the restaurant. Steak 'n Shake, I wish you guys the best. If you want me apart of your team so I can teach your employees how to properly respect and communicate their customers, call me.

    very scared!

Just ate here, it was horrible. Waited 30-45 mins for our food. It was all cold and there was hair in the grilled cheese. Don't eat here.

Slowest drive thru ever! Had to wait at the speaker quite a while even with no cars in front of me.

We ordered a large fry and 4 of us split that and still had some left. Cajun seasoning was a bit much on them though, I should have asked for it on the side. Drinks in the freestyle machine were "off" like they were running low or something. Ketchup pumps were empty. Overall it was good, but not worth their regular prices. Not likely to return, just too expensive for what it is.

They have been open for a month or less, we came to place a to go order for dinner, there was a line but it wasn't busy per say. I got just the Hamburger with the fixings, also a cheeseburger & a bacon cheeseburger along with 2 large fries & a chocolate milkshake. It took about ten minutes or less for our order to be ready, then a couple minutes for the milkshake. The staff were nice & dining room looked clean & well stocked. The food was good just like every other Five Guys. Now we don't have to drive far to get our fix.

O'Charley's: A Mixed Bag of Bites and Booze…read more My wife and I rolled into O'Charley's for supper, ready for a good time, and we mostly got one--though the meal was a bit like a sitcom with great supporting characters but a shaky main plot. My wife went for the 6oz Sirloin Steak with a baked potato and green beans. The steak and spud were solid, hitting all the right notes like a dependable rom-com. But the green beans? They pulled a plot twist and just... weren't. Whatever that means, it wasn't good. I opted for the Shrimp and Grits, paired with a couple of Margaritas that were the real MVPs of the night. Liz, our bartender-server hybrid superhero, deserves a standing ovation for slinging drinks that were strong, not some sad, watered-down wannabe mix. Margaritas: 10/10, would sip again. The Shrimp and Grits, though? A Southern tragedy. As a longtime fan of this dish, I was ready for a light, flavorful hug from the Lowcountry. Instead, I got a greasy, heavy mess where the shrimp played hide-and-seek--and won. Hard pass next time. We kicked things off with the cheese wedges, O'Charley's claim to fame and the whole reason my wife dragged me here. They delivered, all gooey and glorious, like the comfort food equivalent of a warm blanket. The rolls, though? Usually the stuff of legends, but tonight they showed up fun-sized. Liz, bless her, kept the tiny carb parade marching to our table, so no complaints there. In short, O'Charley's brought the vibes with killer apps and drinks, but the main dishes need to get their act together. Liz, you're a star--keep pouring those margaritas!
