I think Steak Stuffers has the best "Philly" bar none. My son and I have enjoyed Steak Stuffers since George opened on Peoria years ago. George had a unbelievable knack remembering customers names that made us feel special each time we placed an order. Our picture hung on his wall for years, even a picture of my son when he joined the Marines. I want to thank George for welcoming us into his "home". I have gone to this restaurant for years and years, the food has always been great. The last two times I have gone there it was a total bust! The time before today, I ordered Chicken Philly's and got Beef, my order was "to go" so I didn't realize the order was wrong until I got home! Unbelievable. I thought...ok, give them another chance, it might have been a new person taking the order. Today I called in an order, went through the drive through, told her my name, she confirmed what I had ordered, I paid and was told to park to the side and wait for my order. I finally got it 25 minutes later after I tracked a lady down to help me. I got about 8 chips in my order of potato chips, of course they were cold, 4 of them were soggy and not even cooked. The sandwich was correct but the bell peppers were bitter. It was terrible, I am shocked, I cannot imagine that the owners are aware this is going on, that is why I am writing. Guys at work have bragged this is the best Philly place in town & about 5 minutes ago I'm a believer. Walked in at 12:10 & line was to the door. Orders were taken quickly & arrived to me quickly. The environment is nostalgic & American. Had the mushroom cheese steak stuffer w/jalapeños and a order of cheese fries. Both were excellent. Will definitely be eating here again soon read more

For a place that specializes in philly cheesesteaks, I would have to say that they could do better. I personally do not like velveeta in my sandwich, I would have preferred provolone, but apparently that's how they do it in Philly. The service was friendly and quick. Steak Stuffers has become a die hard favorite since moving to T-Town 2 years ago. The best cheese steak I've ever had, and at 300 lbs plus, I've had my share and then some. The meat is melt in your mouth delicious and you can customize the sandwiches any which way you like. (why a nimrod who doesn't eat meat would review a steak sandwich shop is beyond me...takes all types I guess) Side dishes are good dependable fare. There are a couple of other good steak sandwich shops in Tulsa, but Steak Stuffers is the best in my book. read more

Hands down the best Philly Cheesesteak Ive ever had!!!!! They dont have anything bad on the menu, however the original steak stuffer with cheese is probably the best thing on the menu. Even the french fries are excellent. I have the chicken stuffer without cheese for a healthier option that is still satisfing. read more

Never been a fan of cheesesteaks....until this place. Years ago, my bf at the time, took me here. I refused to eat anything as I didn't like cheesesteaks. That is, until I saw his food. It looked sooo good. I took one bite and have been hooked ever since. I've since moved from Tulsa, but every time I come back I always stop here. I get the half steak stuffer w/ peppers and onions. You gotta try the corn fries too. Soo bomb. The only downside of this place is their hours. They're closed on the weekends and every year for a few weeks for the holidays. read more

Steak Stuffers is a great place to get a philly style cheesesteak. I've never been to Philly for a comparison, but I would imagine they taste very authentic. The peppers and onions are fresh, the steak is juicy yet not greasy, and the bun nice and chewy. Another plus is that they offer provolone cheese (I do not like cheezewhiz). The only downside is it is slightly expensive IMO at $8.40 for just the sandwich with tax calculated in. I would definitely go here again though. read more

I love love LOVE this place!! It's a bit of a drive for my family but oh so worth it when we do get the chance to make it out that way. I love he cheese steak stuffer, my husband gets the mushroom cheese stuffer, and my parents always sub white American cheese on their cheese stuffers. The natural cut chips are awesome too! They are always so friendly and the service is fast! If you plan on eating inside I don't recommend going around lunch time unless you get there early. It is always packed. Thank goodness they have a drive thru! I would call ahead for even faster service. I will be a customer for as long as they remain open! read more

Yes, I was told a few weeks ago they have new owners. That trip was good and I did not directly notice a difference. I got one today and it was so gross, the meat was all fatty, I had to spit out half of each bit because of the fatty meat. No seasoning and very little cheese, not what I was wishing it would be with the new owners. I will so miss this place and the good food and cheesy messy sandwiches, this one was dry and gross. read more

a friend who was from Pennsylvania told me this was a must visit place.. My wife orders the 12 inch with mushrooms, onion and peppers, I always gets the cheese one with peppers and onion. We get an order of fries on the way home they are gone. They are freshly cut and prepared. It is a place for a hungryman to find his feedbag on. Traditional Philly Steak sandwiches prepared fresh to order. This will remain on our to go to list. We are always happy with the food and service. The wait time is not long. read more

The bread is dry and there's too much of it compared to the meat and cheese ratio. The meat is bland even with added onions and jalapeños. Phat philly's is way better. read more
