He is a very pleasant guy and did some things well (sealing the walls of our walk in shower). However, the quality control on the two baths/showers was poor. His mom was having issues, and perhaps he was in a hurry. But we shortly began to notice a lot of overpainting. And, now, a couple of months later, as we began to scrape the overpainting off the shower wall tiles with plastic cards, we noticed even more overpainting and a number of grout lines that had major portions with no sealer and a bunch of smaller areas that had gaps. We used leftover sealer to fill in all the gaps he missed. Also, the caulking around the tubs was, simply put, sloppy. Maybe it was due to his having to travel to see his mom in El Paso. Nevertheless, my recommendation for anyone who uses him is to do your own careful quality control checks while he's there. This is not meant to 'dis' him, but to help him succeed.

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash…read moretile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

July 2020: I hired him to clean and seal grout in the master bathroom shower of 3yrd old house I bought. The shower by the way was still in great shape. I just wanted a good cleaning done, and filling of couple of very small spots. I also asked him if he can seal the grout and he said he will and claimed a 15yr guarantee on the grout seal. August 2021: Within a year the shower looks way worse than it did after 3 yrs of ownership. Whatever he used as a sealant seems to have served the exact opposite purpose. I reached out to him with pictures and initially he feigned ignorance of even having worked at my house. And when I finally located and shared the receipt copy with him, he said the earliest he can send someone over to take a look is by December 6th!! Also, when I mentioned the 15 year guarantee on the sealant, he said he will check with the sealant manufacturer!! What the hell? Giovanni it was you who claimed the guarantee when you spoke to me face to face, not the manufacturer! Nor is that mentioned anywhere in the receipt! January 2022: December came and went by, it is January and I'm still texting him, calling him(he won't answer), leaving him voicemail(he won't call back). For all the reviewers who gave him 5 stars, just wait a year...see what happens. I'll pray you don't have to reach out to him for any of his "guarantee" claims. This is my worst experience with any kind of contractor ever.

It was 2 years old but had been subject to dirt and 3 dogs during that time. It had a horrific smell and lots of short dog hair embedded in it. The only issue was my own lack of ability to assess approximate dimensions. Since it wasn't my home I didn't have access to a tape measure so we just guesstimated. They quoted us based on that. They have a specific formula they use to calculate cost based on size. We were able to schedule an appt 2 days later. Two gentlemen arrived as scheduled. They started unloading the equipment but we had 2other companies arriving so I had to ask them to move their truck and relocate the hoses. They did so right away with smiles and understanding-that I was already on overload just preparing and scheduling everything. (Personally-I haven't moved in over 30 years!-don't ask how I ended up being in charge. ) Anyway back to K&M. When the gentlemen took a look at the furniture they had to call the office as it was twice as large as expected. Of course they needed another approval to charge the new amount to my card. It was a little more than twice the estimate but I do understand this entertainment set of couches etc was massive. Very deep and very long! Bottom line- they did a fabulous job. No odor left-removed a monumental amount of hair and advised to get anymore they would have to manually remove it piece by piece which I didn't expect.
