The only problem I have is that they keep that fucking bitch Ashley on staff. Every fucking night she couldn't be bothered to put a smile on her face or look happy to be there. If I had a choice to bitch slap Adolf Hitler or Ashley from steam I would slap the shit out of Adolf Hitler. First the waitress was missing the whole time and we would ask for her repeatedly otherwise she wouldn't come by. They were so into the conversation they ignored the group that came into the bar for a solid 4 minutes while they finished their story before greeting them. Loved it. Rustic casual atmosphere. Place was packed on a Thursday evening 6-8pm. Went here for our annual Christmas Dinner Party. I ordered the 16oz Prime Rib, it was "Prime Rib night" actually, it was $20. and so worth every thick, savory bite. This cut of meat was cooked to perfection and it was so tender and juicy. It does get very crowded but that is usually a sign that it's a good place. It's a great place to watch a sporting event with plenty of TVs all around. This is a really cool place! It is inside an old train and has a really cute atmosphere! They have a really nice and extensive food and drink menu. I got the sesame tuna, which was great! We also got the sweet potato fries that were delicious! They had some kind of a sweet yogurt drizzle sauce on top... yum! On the weekends there it turns more into a club atmosphere. Usually a place like this that has nightlife, food, and a bar typically fails in 1 or 2 areas. This place exceeds expectations in every area. From the outside is doesnt look like much but it's beautiful on the inside. The staff is incredibly well-managed and more than willing to make your experience amazing. They have a DJ on Friday nights (younger crowd) and a live band on Saturdays (older crowd). They have meal specials all week and I can't emphasize enough how great the food is. I've never had a bad meal here or a bad drink or a bad time in general. I would describe this place as a "hidden treasure" and hope that it sticks around for a long time. Where can I start? This place is so good at so many levels. They have the best drinks in the area, excellent service and outstanding food which they change continuously to keep it interesting with the regulars. This place is so cool on the inside and also a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. I went here for happy hour with my fiancee and her mother and the deals ($6 menu for certain foods) was pretty good. There were a bunch of food on there and I personally liked the wings that were breaded the best. You get a good amount of food for the $6 portion with the only exception being that the burger sliders you only get 2 which seems a bit of a rip off to me. The hot alcoholic beverages are addicting, as are the personalities of the World's Okayest Bartenders, Tommy and Owen. I'm bestowing the title of Okayest upon them only because they have yet to produce to me their legendary chocolate fountain. I would deduct half a star point from the House of Steam out 5 only because of the missing fountain. Yet another great meal at Steam Pub. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips were not salted which I liked and they tasted fresh and homemade. The salsa and guacamole were really tasty and the portion size was more than enough for the amount of chips. As always I had the sweet potato fries which are always fantastic. I also had the Short Rib Quesadilla. So good! The tortilla was golden brown and a perfect combination of soft and crisp. It was packed with short rib meat and the BBQ sauce had a slightly spicy kick to it. Loved it! My husband had the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were huge and they were perfectly battered. He said the Pina Colada sauce for dipping was a nice surprise. It paired great with the shrimp. He also had the TBT Chicken Sliders which was one of the specials for the day. The chicken was so tender and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. As he was eating them all he could say was "mmm so very very cheesy". Last but not least, the service was outstanding! I think we have made it our mission to try everything on the menu at Steam. Don't know how long that will take but it will be fun finding out. read more

The app actually took a little long to come out, but the manager immediately came out and apologize and took it off our bill. Didn't have too but seeing how our dinner was coming out at the same time it was really nice of them to notice and care! After a near death experience with a flying umbrella ( which we grab mid air unfortunately showing our super powers), I recommend the turkey burger and the slugger sandwich. Overall nice place! I don't know how to describe it, but it always smells like vomit. Gross right? Almost like there was a wild party there the night before (who knows, maybe there was). The staff was great. The seem to work together well and are all friendly. This was a first visit at 3:45pm on a Saturday and we had to wait about 10 minutes to sit. We tried the garlic parm tater tots- very good, the fried mac and cheese bites- DELICIOUS , and a special with beef tips and pasta in a cheese/mushroom sauce-creamy and filling as well as the tiramisu- YUM. The only drawback for me was the noise level. We weren't very close to the Dj/speakers but it was hard to hear each other and the wait staff even at this time of the day. I had a Tupperware party and asked my guests to show up at the Steam Pub after the party for a few cocktails. I have been there a few times and raved about the nice staff and the laid back environment. They have lots of steep steps leading up to their door way and in mid conversation with my friends, I missed a step. My friends turned around to see if I was okay and we proceeded up the stairs. Upon arriving at the door a employee walks out points at me and says "I saw her trip on the step, she isn't allowed in" Not only was I mad because I was sober but extremely ticked off that a employee of the establishment witnessed it, didn't come out to see if I was okay and allowed us to continue to the door to tell me I wasn't allowed in. I didn't stumble up to the doorway, I didn't have a hard time on any of the other stairs and turned down. I didn't fight with him because they clearly aren't hurting for business and we changed our destination. I also viewed it as a red flag didn't want to be at a place were they treat people like that at the door. Not my kind of crowd. read more

Uno's crab dip is better and less expensive. I had the seafood macaroni and cheese. There was only about 4oz of shrimp & tiny scallops in the entrée. I did not see or taste any crab at all. The rest was pasta. Cheese with Old bay seasoning. Too much Old Bay and very salty. It was not worth the $24.00, maybe $15.00, especially with only about 4oz of seafood. My bf had the Black & Blue Ribeye ordered medium. Now if we're gonna pay $28.00 for a steak we want it the way we asked. It showed up rare, very rare and bloody. Because he is a chef, we do not send food back to be re-cooked. It's just not something we don't do because we know what happens in kitchens sometimes. I like rare, so I tried it. It was a very good cut of meat but there was so much blue cheese and salt that I couldn't taste much else. I had maybe too bites and that was all I wanted. He ate the outsides edges that were closer to medium. We took home the rare parts to recook. Desert was the Jewish Apple cake, which was DELICIOUS :-) But the vanilla ice cream I ordered with it was horrible. I never had vanilla ice cream that didn't taste like vanilla. That was weird. As for the Service, he was a good waiter, but at the end it tapered off. He checked on us constantly, timed the meal to our slow eating pace and filled drinks as needed without asking. We did tell the waiter about the steak and showed it to him. He said "I can't see it" and took out his phone to shine a light on it to see. I couldn't believe it. And then he continued to say that he couldn't tell how it was prepared. It was obviously bloody because there was blood on the plate. Either the waiter doesn't know how steak temperatures should look or he was just playing dumb. From the look on his face, he just was playing dumb and didn't want to hear any complaints. My bf asked him to let the chef/cook know. We don't think he even bothered because when we asked about it he said he told him, but nothing else. Then after that, we waited a long time for desert and a long time for the check. No discount for the incorrect steak temperature either.
