Craved ice cream and have been wanting to try Stella Jean's. Parking can be tough but since we'd go after dinner, there would be spots open. First time I went they ran out of banana turon so I opted for the Yuzu Matcha, since it was a seasonal item. The flavor was soooo good. The yuzu was soooo refreshing and the matcha wasn't too overpowering. I went back the following week to try the banana turon. This was amazing but really sweet for my taste. It gets crowded but service is fast.

This place is absolutely delicious and every flavor they offered was so unique and yummy. Located at the every edge of the LAB, it can be a bit hard to find, but the interior is incredibly charming and has 3 tables you can stand at to eat and chat! I personally got the banana Turon crunch, and as someone who personally does not like banana flavored items, I absolutely loved this since it's had no artificial flavor and the banana puree throughout made it more reminiscent of an actual Turon treat. It also had jackfruit, which I loved and the Caramelized egg wrapper was a nice crunch throughout. I will definitely be coming back to try new flavors and get my friends to try them as well !

The flavors are unique and clean. Creative and joy filled. I walked on over here with my sister and we were just met with an awesome treat. I like that there's not that many flavors to choose from to begin with. The ingredients are what they say! This has become one of my favorite places to grab icecream. God bless you all!

Located in the Lab which I thought was a pretty cool since I have never been. Enjoyed this cute little ice cream shop because of their unique flavors. Service can be a bit slow, since one worker and the lines can get pretty long depending on the time and day you go. The staff member was very nice. Tons of parking and easy to locate since this plaza is across from The Camp. No chairs inside, but two tables for standing.

The mango sticky rice is a standout. I don't usually gravitate toward fruity ice creams, but the pandan adds a subtle, fragrant note that makes the whole thing feel really special. Coming back asap

Located in the Lab, parking can be annoying, especially on the weekends. Really unique flavors. Some are coconut based, the coconut flavor really lingers. I tried the ube toffee, pistachio and the s'mores(coconut based). Ube was definitely my favorite out of the three. I prefer the ice cream over the coconut flavors, but they are still good. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream.

I love you Stella Jean's Ice Cream. Baklava cheesecake is a must try. SO good. Stella Jean's lets to sample all their flavors, and their cheesecake flavor is love at first bite. Just enough cheesy taste, but not too overpowering. But it's the little chunks mixed into the ice cream that gives it a creamy, sweet & salty flavor. Genius! Just for my ice cream alone, I give Stella Jean's five stars. The place itself is cute and modern, but rather small. Wish they had more seatings but we were still able to enjoy our sweet treats. Don't ask me about the other flavors, because I will likely stay loyal to the baklava cheesecake ice cream for as long as they carry it. Happy eating!

One of my favorite ice cream shops. Always excited to see their seasonal flavors. Favorites will always be mango sticky rice and ube pandesal toffee. The banana turon crunch was delicious! Real banana flavor and the crunch stayed crunchy

Review 18/365 Day Challenge Came to Costa Mesa for a Date Night. Had dinner at HANUMAN Thai Eatery than went to the Candlelight Ed Sheeran Coldplay ensemble concert. Was looking to come to Stella Jeans to grab their ice cream after the show for my bestie. She loves it here. The 2 usual flavors i always get ~ Ube + pandesal toffee. Has the ube taste that's for sure n crunch of toffee. Highly recommended. ~ Mango Sticky Rice tastes legit like the thai dessert. Creamy and not overly sweet. The Ice Cream shop is simple and nice. Clean. Their menu of flavors is limited w Distinctive unique flavors. The packaging and cups for the ice cream is nice. Service is fast and they don't free samples you can try. The prices are a bit high $ 13 for a pint is a bit on the pricey side. So definitely more of an indulgent ice cream treat. Not an everyday treat for the price it is. Stella Jeans ice cream has a handful of shops, San Diego area is one I know of. Located next to Sidecar Donut. Parking is a bit hard since it's not too big.

Wanted to a non chain ice cream parlor so decided to check Stella Jeans! It's inside a cute plaza where it has different shops and it's honestly a pretty cool hangout spot! We got their ube and milk and cookies. We liked the textures of the ice cream but we wished the flavor was a bit stronger? Couldn't really taste the flavors as much as we would have liked. Service was a bit slow but it was okay

Food: my absolute favorite ice cream in the entire world! The flavors are so creamy and the toppings within every ice cream is just the right amount! We drive all the way from Central California to SoCal for this ice cream because it really is the best ever! I keep telling myself to bring a cooler with lots of ice to bring it home! Hopefully Stella jeans will make it its way up to Fresno one day! Service: the staff are always very nice and let you try out flavors. Ambience: a cute ice cream shop with very lively colors!

The flavors here are delicious! Definitely one of the best ice cream places in the area. We loved the Matcha Yuzu Cloud, the Ube Pandesol, and the Earl Grey.

First time visiting this location at the LAB, and it was easy to find since it's right at the entrance, next to Bred's Hot Chicken. There was only one person on staff, and she was friendly and welcoming, taking her time with each group despite the line that emerged. Also, she was super generous with samples, which made the experience fun. I hate when places don't allow samples, and you have to gamble on a scoopful of flavor you might not like. I love the ice cream flavors at Stella Jean because they're unique and not overly sweet. I usually expect something like s'mores-style flavors to be sickeningly sweet because of marshmallows, but that wasn't the case. We got a cup of the Ube + Pandesal Toffee and the S'mores. I noticed the texture was really interesting, almost like mochi or a springy marshmallow. It also didn't melt quickly. Mine barely started melting when I had about 15% left, which is impressive. There are tables and seating around the LAB and they also have standing tables inside the ice cream shop.

I've been here twice now and tried about five different flavors total, and every single one was gross. The Experience: * Bad Flavors: On my last visit, I actually had to ask the worker to swap my flavor because I was convinced I just got a "bad" one. The second flavor was somehow even worse. I didn't even finish it; I just threw it away because it was that nasty. * Texture & Taste: It tastes like watered-down diet ice cream. It lacks any of the richness or flavor you'd expect from a specialized shop, especially for how expensive it is. I wouldn't even go back if the ice cream were free. The Location Trap: This place is right on 17th Street next to Sidecar Doughnuts and Pop Pie Co., which is a great, convenient location. I think people only go here because it's a "cool-looking" spot to stop at while driving to the beach or grabbing a donut next door. If it weren't for the location, I don't see how they would stay in business. Final Verdict: Don't be fooled by the convenient location or the surrounding shops. The ice cream is truly disappointing and definitely not worth the price. I won't be coming back ever.

They do have them where I'm at in Las Vegas, but I have yet to visit any of those establishments. I was super hungry and thought I want to go try that rib sandwich. Place is easy to find right off 17th Street. You really can't miss it with that big sign. And the building is definitely unique as well so you shouldn't have any problem finding it Inside you can either choose to go digital and and skip talking to a real person. I'm old school, I actually like engaging with people. So I went to the counter. I ordered the rib sandwich without looking, and was a little shocked by the total. The sandwich itself is 15 bucks, I ordered a small fry which was $4.50, and a small drink which was $4. With a 15% tip my total came out to $28. Definitely a little shell-shocked by that. Now let's talk about the sandwich. It came to the table and at first glance it looked very small. When I picked it up there was a very generous portion of rib meat inside like a big chunk of rib meat. Huge pickles and a lot of sauce. It was a great sandwich. Do not get me wrong, what I ordered again? Maybe. They don't really have a meal deal that includes fries and a drink so it's sort of all a la carte. Now let's talk about the taste. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the sandwich itself was a solid 10. That being said, I would definitely feel more comfortable paying $12 for this sandwich, as I think 15 is a little exuberant. And you don't really get that many fries for $4.50. I can't imagine what the meal deal would have been, but I'm sure people would absolutely balk at that price. I would have given it a five-star review, but that is way too much for that sandwich. As delicious as it was, I just don't feel right spending that much for a sandwich. If it could be reworked, and the price dropped down I would be all in in a heartbeat. Bottom line? If you've been wanting to try it, I say go ahead. Just be warned that you could be unpleasantly surprised unless you know what the prices are you're getting into.
