For starters it takes forever, maybe that's because the spot has only been getting more and more famous. Great pizza! They have all the normal toppings, my go-to would be mushrooms and ricotta. They offer delivery and I believe they're also on DoorDash. I couldn't eat inside because of COVID-19 but Steve's is very clean but I would recommend calling to order and then going to pick up. The wait can get a little long. The sauce is on the sweeter side, so if you have family members that don't like that please beware!!! read more

We've lived in the area a while but only recently tried Steve's for the first time. I really loved their pizza and noticed that their sauce was a little on the sweeter side which is kind of unusual, but I liked it! Awesome sauce! Best pizza in Miami. The place is pretty much a hole in wall. But don't worry about being able to find the place. Even if your GPS isn't working the long line will direct you. It will be a line of people turning into the plaza, a line forming through the small parking lot, a line trying to get through the small outdoor seating area out. Either way look for a line. And yes it's worth the wait. Good pizza with a decent beer selection. If you are nice enough "check in" don't be surprised at the number of people you forget that live in Miami that are now requesting that you spot buy. And of course they are then gonna request that you deliver a pizza that they just ordered as well. (Veggie pizza is loaded and delicious!) Simple brick oven thin crust pizza done extremely well. If you can grab a graffiti booth and people watch like I did. You can't write on the wall though. And I wouldn't try because people are eyeing for open seats. Two observations/questions I made while dining on a great spinach and white pizza. Pizza causes huge muscles : There's gotta be a gym (or 5) close. The amount of Olympic worthy weight lifting eye candy was out this world along with a few MMA binge eaters. I think this pizza causes pregnancy. The amount of women that were over 6 months was a fright to my uterus. And then when my mother started calling me? I wondered if this place was a set up? Does this pizza cause fertility or just provides all the good stuff that expectant mothers crave? Someone should test this out. I asked for cheese pizza and black olives and tomatoes and it wasn't bad is just who eats that much black olives and they could've chop the tomatoes a little more, the sauce was kind of sweet which I didn't really like it takes away the flavor of the cheese which didn't have much... I'm surprised I never wrote a review for this pizza spot. Honestly, this is easily the best pizza spot in Miami. I lived in NYC for a bit and was spoiled with good pizza. When I moved to Miami, I was heavily disappointed with the pizza scene. However, I was blessed to have friends who didn't live too far from here. We had Steve's Pizza more than I could count. The best thing was... it was always consistently good. You know it's good when that place is always busy, even on a Monday night at 10pm. Steve's pizza is a little cozy location with the most amazing pizza ever. It gets quite busy, but the staff has everything under control. The line to order is rather quick and the wait time for your pizza to come out is no more than maybe 20 mins. It is self seated so you definitely want to be on the look out while you're waiting in line for a spot. Someone in your party should go secure the table as you wait to order. The pizza is made to perfection. I'm a basic toppings kind of girl so I like my cheese and pepperoni pizza (half and half). The cheese melts right in your mouth. Pizza Dive...that ish cray! Although there was one couple dressed in a suit and I was in business casual, the crowd borders between Johnson and Wales students, hipster and hood. The bathroom was outside of the restaurant space itself (like in a gas station as another reviewer wrote) and was out of paper towels, and toilet dirty. Although probably intentional, the walls are tagged / graffed up. I had to wipe my own table to not dirty my shirt sleeves. Yeah, yeah I know I sound like a total snob. Still $10 for two slices Hawaiian and a fountain soda seem like a good deal..two ginormous slices....with a spicy sweetness in the sauce and didn't need extra sauce. Plenty pieces of ham and pineapple, and a generous helping of the sauce. I for one am a fan of thin crust, and don't mind a little greasy when it comes to pizza. Music was also a little better than my usual late night dinner spots, with alt rock bumping the speakers. The food itself was 5 stars in my book, and am halfway tempted to put them in my Mangia, Mangia or late night gourmet lists... BUT, I don't appreciate nickel and dimed for sauce (thankfully I didn't need extra) or soda refills at a fast food place. In addition to the premium for the refillable soda, they charge an extra 50 cents per refill. I'm sorry, but I'm going against the grain here and giving them only three stars. If this review were solely for the pizza, this could have easily been 5 stars but in the end the ambiance and nickel and diming are what stick, bringing this place down to 3 stars for me. read more

I ordered 3 slices waited almost 40 minutes and even went up after 30 min to check what the hold up was and reiterate my order. When they finally called my order they only gave me 2 slices. And I told them it was 3. The guy at the counter said well they charged you for two go pay the difference and I'll make another one. No thanks. I'm not waiting for 30-40 min for one slice. Especially when it was the cashiers mistake. This is Miami where we use our hands to speak and I used 3 fingers when ordering. Plus I reiterated my order to the guy at the counter. He could've told me then that they only charged me for two. It's clear they're not in sync being within earshot of each other. I went to Steve's a few days ago and received such great service that I had to update my review. My daughter and I were HANGRY after a day at the beach and wanted the only greasy thing that we knew would satisfy our hunger. We placed our order, of course a pepperoni and a cheese; extra toasted - that would do the trick! We sat on the outside tables that were spotless. There were quite a few people sitting outside so of course you would expect a bit of trash, but not here. Someone was promptly picking up napkins, and plates. He also offered to grab us a few more and the condiments once I got my order. The pizza was perfect, toasted to perfection and the sweet sauce was consistently delicious. I will for sure be having my own small pizza as we had tried half and half year of what we both liked but I definitely would like to have my own basil tomato pizza their tomato sauce is super delicious especially if you'd like to dip it with a little bit of French that they offer along with some sides of the peppers and the extra cheese on there but definitely it is so worth it. Now I was told that their prices were different back then but with how things are nowadays I do understand why there was a slight increase on the prices of the pizzas but again it is totally worth it due to the love that they put into these ingredients that you can tell they are homemade this is one of the places that has been around for a very very long time in Miami North West Miami I should say but definitely it is worth a try if you're in town and in the mood for some delicious pizza. You can either take your pizza to go or you can have it there that have some cute little moods that you can sit out and enjoy with friends along with them outside sitting for one it is the perfect weather outside and not raining it is very family friendly and pet friendly as well as you can sit outside and enjoy your pizza after maybe a nice jog or walk in my case I will probably try walking there next time I said it's not too far from where we are at when we come to town. It was a tuesday night and it was getting late.I was looking to buy a large pizza but I was Staying in a hotel pretty far from a lot of restaurants. So here we go! 1- when i called the girl that took my order was very rude like she was bother or like she was doing me a favor, i was about to hangup on her ass but it was late an i was hungry, i should have just hangup because the pizza was HORRIBLE. They should change her position from the register to a janitor a position that she dont have to deal with clients 2- The pizza appearance was good but the taste was just weird. It tasted like if they use tomato soup from a Can like progresso or Campbell's as their pizza sauce it was nasty and very sweet it was unusual. I saved most of it for the next day but i decided not to eat it since it was horrible fresh imagine re heated. 3- The Garlic knots they were good they were actually delicious, i was glad since the pizza was so bad. 4- The delivery guy was so polite, he was very nice! The Miami Pizza scene is a mixed bag despite all the New York / New Jerseyans down here. I chose Steve's today even though it's not super close because of the reputation on strombolis. DEFINITELY order ahead. The stromboli itself was good (not amazing), though because of how long the line is, it wasn't warm by the time I got home. I also didn't get sauce but didn't want to ask since the place was so busy. That said, I could see the pizza that was being made when I got to the counter and I can assure you it would definitely be tasty and well-textured. The size of the line definitely backed that up. Please be aware there is one line for everything (I'm sorry to the two people I accidentally cut before being corrected), so if you do a phone order, you don't cut the already very long line. So if you call and they say 40 minutes, be there in 20 because you probably won't get parking in the lot then may have to wait 10-15 minutes on line. I do appreciate they quickly had my phone order handy when I got to the front of the line which happened rapidly as some people in front of me were discouraged by the 1 hour turnaround time for walk-ups. Again this was a Friday night, so I assume that would be the peak. If I'm in the area during off-peak hours I will surely be back, but I will probably try a closer spot for my next stromboli. read more
