The Buffalo Balsamic Maple sauce, however, was just buffalo, and thus a huge disappointment*, but the fries and chicken were solid. This outpost is their first to serve alcohol, and the decor is pretty great street art-style murals. *We'll see how they react given their history of social media impropriety. read more

I normally wouldn't do this, but in this situation I will just because I contacted the restaurant and I was told someone would get back to me. So I've come to this place now for more than 3 months. I thought it was the best tenders ever. I couldn't have enough. Specially with their hot sauce. This particular time I ordered to go 2 orders of three pieces of fingers, one for me and one for my friend who loves this place also. 3 hours later I felt like my stomach was rumbling and I just didn't feel well. I start getting cramps. Keep in mind , this is the only thing I've had all day . But having had their chicken many times , I am on denial that there was anything wrong with my food. Last time I had food poisoning was more than 10 years ago, but I clearly remember the incident. I decided to call my friend to whom I had delivered the same chicken to at about same time I had mine and asked him if he was ok. He told me that he was having unusual diarrhea and stomach cramps. Later that night I started sweating and uncontrollably throwing up. I have never felt anything like that since that time many years ago when I had food poisoning. This was way worst. Anyway I am ok with buying food and not meeting my expectations, but I am not ok with paying for something that made me so sick. I don't know if it was the handling of the food or just bad chicken. Just because they ignored my calls and didn't followed up with me . I will not recommend this place to anyone of my friends . And I will share my story about his place. Sticky's is a relatively new member of the Hell's Kitchen 9th Avenue family but it is a welcome one. As soon as you see its bold signage you know that you're in for a different experience than the flood of Thai restaurants in the area. The interior looks like part restaurant and part street art gallery. The wall to the right has a beautiful mural full of bright colors and cool looking characters. The interior has several booths, some that look like they could seat a party of 6-8. Towards the front are smaller tables. Overall it looks like 25 or so people could fit in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated their willingness to review the various dishes with me. I wound up ordering the The Vampire Killer which the menu describes as a "...finger with enough garlic to ward off all blood sucks! marinated, grilled fingers, are served on a bed of garlic. served with a dot of garlic aoili, cloves of black garlic and our vampire glitter." These guys were not kidding! The fingers are a good size. An order of three is enough for one person (perhaps with a side and drink). The garlic flavor was strong but not obnoxious or overpowering. The chicken fingers had a good crunch, but I did find myself wishing they were a bit more hot. I will give high marks however for how crunchy they were on the outside but most on the inside. My picky 8 year old begged me to come here afterschool today. I didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was nice it was a lil crowded so I knew the food must be good lol. Ordered for catering delivery on Saturday. The food arrived 2 minutes before the requested time. Everything was at the correct serving temperature and tasty. We had salad, grilled chicken, fried chicken and and fries. I especially enjoyed the fries and the fried chicken with the sauce similar to Gen Taos. The only disappointment was the vinaigrette; it separated and the container it arrived wasn't good for giving it a vigorous shake up. The food is great. Definitely not your average chicken fingers, they're pretty big so three and some fries was more than enough. Juicy, no dry or fatty pieces. Seasoned and breaded nicely. I had the sticky sauce, sassy BBQ sauce, cray sauce and the Hot and Honey ( I like sauce ). The stickys sauce is very similar to Chic Fila A sauce - honey mustard based. The BBQ was pretty regular. The Cray Sauce was cilantro based...not what I was expecting but pretty tasty. Lastly, the Hot and Honey sauce which wasn't the greatest. Maybe cooked on the chicken tenders but as a dipper...nah.
