Fire pit outside

Beautiful area inside and out to have a drink. We ordered some drinks and a charcuterie board. The crackers on the side were stale so they took the board back to the kitchen and returned with a disassembled unappealing version of the original. We complained and had it removed from bill. This was not what you would expect from the Eau Palm. Since we were hungry we decided to go into the restarant which was a 5 Star experience.

UPDATE: This is my favorite place to eat at Eau which may sound strange considering they have a formal and beautiful place to eat (Angle) as w ell as Temple Orange and other places as well. I just love the ambiance here. It is a cocktail lounge which will also make you some of the best food you could ever imagine. All by candlelight. Stir Bar and Terrace is part of Eau Palm Beach Hotel. They offer both drinks and a full food menu. The atmosphere is upscale but but you can still dress casual. I saw many people who were just having cocktails and then again many people who were ordering dinner. And I have been here more then once. It's a five star dining experience. They also sometimes have live music. Stir is a fantastic place. I mentioned how good the food is. Their menu is quite extensive and offers so much. Among the goodies offered: Dim Sum, Lobster Mac-N-Cheese, Chicken Wings that are served three different ways, Lobster Rolls and Burgers to name a few. They also have great starters. They have Chips they bring you to start but what really got me were the utterly yummy Roasted Almonds they bring you. Bliss. The visual beauty of Stir perfectly matches the Hotel. They also sometimes, as I said, offer live entertainment but there are quiet areas to sit as well if you want privacy. It is nice to dine by candlelight. The service is top notch, the food exquisite and this is an outstanding place. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, creating a comfortable setting for our meal. I ordered the key lime chicken tacos, which were slightly spicy but very flavorful. The beer‑battered onion rings were exceptionally crispy and delicious. My friend chose the fried grouper sandwich with fries and commented that it was very good and impressively not greasy. For dessert, I tried the key lime pie with a pecan crust. While I appreciated the creativity, it wasn't my favorite. I found the crust less appealing, and the filling could have used a bit more tartness to achieve that classic key lime balance. Despite the dessert not meeting my expectations, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the quality of the food and atmosphere made for a pleasant lunch.

We had never really eaten here besides a a slice of pie, but we had a gift card. I went in with low expectations, knowing this place is all about the dock bar destination. We started with the fish dip, which was heavy on the mayo. Not one of the better ones we've had but it was alright. The dinner really wasn't very good. I got the blackened mahi sandwich with fries. Fries were soggy and the mahi was over-salted. My wife had the tacos and she said they were only ok. The side of rice she got was overcooked until crispy. Our server, Alfred, however, was great, and made sure we were having a good time. We'll come back for a slice of pie and/or drinks, but the entrees were disappointing.

It was quite windy this time around but it was welcome with the May heat. As a note, there's a big parking lot (pay through Park Mobile) and the cost to park was reasonable. We were seated right away and our waiter was Jeremiah who couldn't be more pleasant. I had tea (they brought out a mini teapot) and my husband had coffee (they came around for refills). I chose to have the Crème Brûlée French toast which was one of the specials. It was good and not too too sweet (but still quite filling). My husband opted for the Vegetarian omelette which came with toast and potatoes (or grits). He said his omelette was fabulous and would be a redo. We will definitely be back!

The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

My husband and I shared the 10 pound gargantuan lobster and boy did I feel bad eating it. It was delicious and well cooked. Now that's excellent service! The restaurant is handicap accessible and I was able to bring in my stroller with plenty of space for storing it. They also let me keep my baby milk in their bar fridge to keep cold. Would definitely recommend although pricey!

Unfortunately, this visit felt very different from what we've come to expect. We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was appreciated. However, our table was located directly beside the kitchen doors, and throughout the evening the doors were repeatedly slammed by staff members. The constant noise made it difficult to enjoy conversation and took away from what should have been a relaxing dinner. Our server was attentive, but we were surprised when she sat on a neighboring dining table while taking our order. It felt unprofessional and not in line with the standards we've experienced at The Station House over the years. The bruschetta was excellent as always, and the mashed potatoes remain some of the best around. I ordered the Filet Tips appetizer, which was flavorful, but two of the pieces contained large amounts of fat and gristle, which was unexpected for a filet dish. My husband ordered the snapper and noticed the lateral line had not been removed before serving. While it is edible, many seafood restaurants remove it for both presentation and flavor. For a restaurant known for its seafood, this was surprising and felt like another example of the attention to detail that seemed to be missing during our visit. The final disappointment came when we left the restaurant. A manager and hostess were standing at the front, yet neither acknowledged us as we were exiting. What ultimately stood out most was not any single issue, but the overall decline in the level of professionalism and attention to detail that we have always associated with The Station House.

Sadly, the Taylor ham was beyond burnt which is why I deducted one star as this isn't a cheap spot and I would expect better. We drove and parked in the lot which was $3.90/hour. We came here for dinner last night and we were seated with a direct ocean view. This is one of the few places that is literally on the beach that you can have dinner. It was around 7 PM so there was shade and cool evening ocean breezes We ordered the whole snapper which was a whopping 2 1/2 pounds and the grouper. The snapper was obviously meant for two people because of the amount of rice and vegetables they included with the snapper. It was excellent. The grouper came in some type of coconut sauce, which was amazing. We were dipping our snapper in the sauce for the grouper. If I was to make any type of recommendation, I would recommend adding a side of this sauce to the snapper and that would just make it a perfect dish I had a watermelon Mojito. The drinks here are ridiculously expensive at $17 a cocktail. And it's not like they come in a huge glass. They come in a regular wine glass. They do say that all the ingredients are natural and nothing is artificial, so maybe it's worth it to pay that much to not have a bunch of junk in your drinks. The service was slow. Although friendly. When we arrived, there was not that many people eating so I was surprised when after 30 minutes we still had not gotten the cocktails. Our waiter said it was because there was only one bartender and he was 15 minutes behind on his orders. I find this pretty amazing that a restaurant like Benny's cannot hire more than one bartender so that the people who come and pay what is not really a moderate amount but pretty expensive for their entrées, but still have to wait 20 minutes to get their drinks. It was only for this that I took off a star. When I order a cocktail, I like it brought out within five minutes and not to drink during my dinner. Dinner was also very slow and we got our entrées about 45 minutes after our order. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back.

Our server was so attentive and helpful--Liam. The decor was very cozy Florida style but I kept smelling cleaning solution now and again so that's not so good. The menu is really eclectic as you read through it. Fried rice and French dip and tacos on the same menu? But.. We loved the apps! I wish I just ordered the ceviche for my meal. It was fresh and zesty. The others loved the thanksgiving empanada which was basically an empanada with turkey and cranberry, etc. Tuna poke was also loved. The tallow fries tasty but I liked the regular ones better. But basically everyone loved all the fries. Entrees were just mediocre. The French dip would, have been nice but the beef was too thick and overcooked and the roll was thick and doughy. The cheese shouldn't be on a French dip at all, but even more so when it was congealed and not melted. Skip this one. The tacos were decent though. The snapper was really good but a little overcooked and seriously over salted. No room for dessert. Love the bar because they accommodated a silly pisco sour request with a humorous creative twist! So yes the food is uneven but I actually would go back because the apps were great, the cat was cute, the bar was clever and our server Liam was just the best.
