Great atmosphere! Very clean! We came for lunch on a Wednesday. Quick service! Chili was sweet and filling of meat, very tasty. Chicken sandwich was ok, couldn't really taste the pesto or spices. Everything looked good. The plating was exceptional! Fit very well to the theme of restaurant.

I had high hopes for this spot, let's look at the pluses: Craft Beer - that's a plus Burgers - Mercia And they make their own chips?! Hell to the yes I walked in Monday night, the place wasn't slammed. Reading past reviews, I know the Coconut Porter is a must. A dark porter kissed with coconut? Be still my heart. A fantastic beer. So why the three stars? That burger was sad. For a burger to be named their OG burger, it was off. The burger may have been good but it was served to me almost cold. You know when a burger is served and it's hot & juicy? This wasn't the picture I just painted. And those homemade chips? Also cold, soggy with no snap. Picture a hot sizzling salty chip. When you bite into it, there's a crunch. These chips were served also cold, almost rubbery. Sadness all around. So beer? They do it great. Burger with homemade chips that bruised my soul? I'm just passing thru, smell ya later

Stopped here for late lunch because it was literally steps from the Doubletree Hotel I was staying at & it has previous good reviews on YELP. Sat at the bar & it was not crowded, which I was surprised about because the St. Patrick's Day parade had just ended. I tried their pale ale & ordered a Cobb Salad. The bartender was caught up in chatting with some regulars so another guy took my order. I got their cilantro lime vinaigrette on the side. The salad was kale, instead of lettuce. It had a shit ton of bacon on it & chicken. It was a large & tasty salad. The portions I saw other people order looked large. It's large inside with a long bar. They have wine & cocktails too. Worth a stop. I love trying local beers!

Busy Mother's Day Sunday. Most places are closed in this town. Even low end places needed a reservation. Staff was very nice and welcoming, to our group and our dog. Food is great! Brunch menu items

Hungry and thirsty called for a Yelp look thru to find a brewery that had food. We were in luck, the Stitch House was only a few miles off the beaten path. The food, though really good, is mostly sandwiches and burgers. Interestingly enough they serve a fried bologna sandwich which I haven't seen that in years. The beer was super. A coconut Pete porter which had a very malty caramel flavor. But the shining star was the Rauch House, an excellent lager, rich in malt, a great smokey Märzen, best I've ever had. Located in the district center of town.

Full video of our visit is on my YouTube channel, Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure. Special Friday Drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. We ate a lot on the menu. To sum our visit up; 1. Loved the mushrooms. 2. I would stick with the smoked meats. 3. Cubano was very good but why not put your house beer cheese on it? 4. I liked the short rib panini but again would have preferred the house beer cheese. 5. This place is very close to being great.

I was really excited to try Stitch House because it came as a recommended place to get dinner. It is decorated really nice with white christmas lights, wooden features and a view of the brewery. The food was mediocre though. I ordered a wrap with chicken, mozzarella, pesto sauce and asked for no tomatoes. It came it with chips and I asked for a side of mustard. The wrap came out with tomatoes and I had to ask for the mustard again. Normally I wouldnt mind, but there was only one other group in the place while we were there so it wasn't busy. The homemade chips were good. The prices were also very reasonable. The waitress didn't check in very often. My husband wanted another beer but the waitress was sitting at a table eating with the other person who worked there. So I also felt like the service could be better. I would try it again and see if another sandwhich or wrap had more flavor. It looks like it would be a good place for a group and also a fun place to get drinks. It is located in downtown Wilmington near a few other fun spots.

Pretty cool place. Wilmington DE isn't exactly paradise but the strip on Market Street has some good spots. Food was really good, specifically the Chicken Cheesesteak. Beers we're excellent too. Small batch brewing

Cranberry Turkey Wrap (sub wrap for sourdough with cranberry on the side)

I was surprised at how empty the place was for a Saturday afternoon, especially with temps in the 70's and outdoor seating available. Our server was very nice, but lacking in the service department. We never did end up getting napkins and silverware. We used the small cocktail napkins that were served under our chip and onion ring buckets. Since I didn't have a knife, I used the wood skewer that was holding my sammie together to spread the cranberry sauce. And as the server brought us our food, my husband asked for another drink. He never did get that drink :\ On to the food. I ordered the Canberry Turkey Wrap, but asked to sub the wrap for sourdough bread and cranberry on the side. The bread was good, it just wasn't sourdough. If it was, they forgot the sour. Only half of my sandwich had brie and the dijonnaise was missing the dijon. As a brewery, I would have thought that the onion rings would have been beer battered, but instead they were frozen? I think? The chips on the other hand, which my husband had, were thick and had a nice crunch. We tried three different beers and none were standouts to me. In line with our overall experience.

Great selection of beer, spacious seatings, if you enjoy sports you can sit by the bar counter and watch the sport. Friendly service team who gave great recommendations on which beer to have, good food and small bites to accompany your beer.

Hard to find a restaurant open around 2pm on a weekday in Wilmington... our first choice was supposed to be open, but there was a sign on the door stating it was closed for the day. Thank goodness for stitch house. Ended up getting a flight, with HH prices. The nachos were good- just wish the chili and jalapeños were spicy. The stitch house OG was very good. Will definitely get it again. Wish i had room for dessert!!

While I've normally visited for weekend dinner visits my visit on this occasion was a mid-week happy hour. First, if you've enjoyed the setting in the past you will be happy to know it looks/feels like the same Iron Hill, spacious, clean, well lit, and plenty of TVs in the expansive bar area for watching sporting events. There is outdoor seating both on the main level and the upper level ---for this visit I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by a welcoming bartender who walked me through the happy hour specials---half dozen food options from a soft hot pretzel to personal pan pizzas for $7....thats a bargain from my perspective. Throw in drink specials and this is a great happy hour setup. Opted for a red blend and they had a very good mid-level blend I've had other places---Pessimist red blend. Went with a personal pan pizza and asked for light sauce and extra cheese and it was prepared perfectly.....didn't even get charged for the extra cheese! There was a nice crowd for a mid week late afternoon happy hour and the place seemed well staffed and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and attentive----good place to visit or revisit while down on the Wilmington riverfront.

Happy hour means $6 well drinks, so my standard is rum and diet Coke. Good drink, single pour of Cruzan. I chose to dine at the bar because the weather was a little steamy out. But I later took my second drink out onto their riverfront patio, and sat awhile in the shade of the building. It was lovely. For snacks, I ordered the blackened filet medallions and the garlic mussels. On a skewer, four hefty pieces of excellent beef were joined with a nifty horseradish dip. I did cut the steak into several bites per piece, so it was a good sized portion. My only preference would have been some garnish (greens maybe?). The mussels normally come with bread, but I let them keep it in the kitchen to sub my own GF bread from home. The broth was thin and lightly flavored, which I enjoyed almost like a soup (but was too embarrassed to tip the bowl). The patron to my right bemoaned the loss of a thicker broth from a previous recipe, so the bartender brought him some scampi butter which helped apparently. I really loved the light broth and found it soaked into the bread quite nicely. Friendly bartender gal cashed me out at my request before I took my drink on the patio. $30 plus tip, well spent. I could be a regular here, and look forward to another visit to Wilmington next time we are in Philly.
