Pizza was decent. I ordered a 12 inch pie with sausage pepperoni. The toppings tasted cheaper in quality. ( my opinion ). The crust was solid, cheese basic , and sauce nothing special. Spent roughly $25 and had a couple cans soda to wash it down. I would return if they step up the toppings quality.. this is also my neighborhood so hoping they can step it up a notch. We recently held our son's first birthday party at Stix N Brix. They provide a spacious and private room with its own entrance. It was by far the easiest and most seamless party I've thrown. The room was setup and ready to go when I arrived to decorate. Food was brought out right on schedule. Drinks were chilled and ready as soon as we arrived. The pizza, salads, and appetizer were delicious and there was plenty of food for everyone. The service was outstanding. Needed to grab food day before marathon so we popped in. Atmosphere is great, concept is really cool. Connects with bakery next door. However, I was not a big fan of the pizza sadly. I love woodfire pizza, this just didn't hit the mark. The sauce is very tangy and they didn't put big enough slices of fresh motz on it. Also, the dough didn't wow me. Friend I was with had the pig and fog pizza and he was just meh about it. That being said, I know I'm a picky pizza snob... Saving grace: it was affordable, pizzas were around $10. By far the Best wood oven pizza I've ever had. The prosciutto and arugula pizza on either regular crust or cauliflower crust is my very favorite. So much more on the menu too. Never had a bad meal. Great place to go for Pizza , especially if you're craving one of those thin crusts and not the traditional deep dish pizza. Loved the ambience and the safety measures they have in place . Finally got to try the food ! I was attending a Sox game and why not support your local business. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We got asked if we would be drinking any wine or beer. We kept saying we are full but ended up eating the 2 pizzas. For dessert we had a slice of banana bread, a slice of a brownie, and a cookie. The brownie and banana bread were sooo good! These slices were THIC! The desserts are from the red line cafe which is connected to the restaurant. I need to come back to try out the cafe side. Let me tell you our server was great! Refilled our drinks and did an awesome job on checking in on us! I didn't get her name but you GO GIRL! She literally named all the desserts on the menu which is awesome I rather be remembering the desserts on the menu then learning about electrolytes lol. My mom and I split a small apple salad and it was a good size for 2 people. We ordered the sausage pizza which is also the perfect size for 2 people. They also serve beer at this location and I tried a goose island beer I never heard of and it was soooooo good. Yelp had a free dessert option so I definitely used that. Visited for Friday night dinner. When we walked in around 7:30 there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant, but within 30 minutes several parties walked in. We started with the burrata crostini. We questioned if we should try it because it was priced higher than sandwiches and some pizzas, but we were glad we did, it was outstanding. The mozzarella sat on fig jam and creamed basil was swirled on top. It was fresh, creamy and tasty. It was accompanied with fresh arugula , roasted cherry tomatoes and a garlic oil dressing. There was more than enough to enjoy some as a salad. The prosciutto was thinly sliced and not too salty. My only suggestion is to provide an even amount of crostini, there was 5 for the 2 of us. We tried the pig n fig pizza. The crust was thin and it was an interesting combination. It had fresh , shaved parmesan on top. Less parmesan would have been better, but it was easy to take some off and a bit more fig jam, however , it was a different combination and overall good. The Italian stubby single sandwich had plenty of meat and was complimented with spinich and onion. Ended the meal with a pumpkin latte that was one of the best I ever had. I was surprised by the ratings for this place, but maybe it's more service than it is based on food. It's a simple place, service is friendly, they're quick, prompt, and parking is pretty easy (unless a White Sox game is in session). The prices are pretty good but the food is pretty standard. Got the beef & giardinara pizza ($12) and spaghetti & meatballs ($14). It was a good amount of food but didn't really stand out in any which way. The pizza crust is thin, it's made in their pizza oven, so it's got that crispy crust, and it's similar to thin crust pizzas you'd get at Blaze or other quick-serve type of pizza joints. The spaghetti and meatballs were tasty but nothing out of the ordinary, the meatballs seem like they are hand made considering another table got the same dish and had fewer but bigger meatballs. The meatballs though tasted funny, it tasted a little off, and seemed to have a bit too much filler. All in all, it was cool to try this place, it's close to quite a few other bars in the area, so it's always a good place to come to relax for a bit. read more

We've driven past many times since it's close to home and overall staff is very nice. It was a slow Thursday for dining in so I will say that I feel like it should have been easier for them to check on us at better intervals. At the same time, we were in no rush and definitely enjoying a relaxed evening. Still, and perhaps more importantly the pizza was really good and fresh. We don't eat pork so there was a little confusion on whether or not they had chicken sausage but luckily they resolved it quickly and without any problem. And just to be clear they do not have chicken sausage. We started with the thick crust made with beer. Then we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza thin crust which was also very good. Both crusts were light and tasty. I also tried the apple salad which had plenty of the walnuts and just the right amount of salad dressing. My kids were just picking the apples out so take that for what it's worth. You use the qr code for their menu but the web prices are definitely not updated. So even though they warn you of that on the site I was surprised to see some up charges that weren't mentioned or explained until I asked upon receiving the bill. This is a local spot for us and obviously very close to the Sox stadium so I was hoping for more of a solid experience. Right now, I feel like it was a good experience borderline just ok. While the pizza is super fresh it still seems slightly pricy for the size. I'm on the fence about any effort towards making this a regular spot for us but the food is what makes me most likely to consider it. Like I said nice service but I ultimately ended up wondering if our server was newer staff. We'll have to try it again for a true feel but this is what we have for the initial impression. read more
