STK Steakhouse - Bellevue We celebrated my husband's birthday at STK Steakhouse in Bellevue, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere had that signature STK energy, modern, vibrant, and buzzing with great music. We began with the Lil' BRGs Wagyu sliders and a perfectly chilled shrimp cocktail, both beautifully executed. For entrées, we enjoyed the Chilean sea bass with ginger‑soy and bok choy, a tender petite filet mignon, and a flavorful New York strip. The sea bass was the standout of the night -- buttery, delicate, and cooked with precision. Our sides were indulgent and well‑crafted: giant tater tots, velvety mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and grilled asparagus. Each one complemented the mains without overpowering them. Dessert ended the evening on a high note with the bag of warm donuts and a classic apple pie. Overall, STK delivered a memorable, high‑quality dining experience with impeccable service. The Chilean sea bass alone is worth the visit.

Really good! Went for happy hour and there were lots of good options. Indoor and patio seating which is great when the weather is good. Service was fast and friendly.

Came here for Happy Hour drinks at 9pm on a Tuesday evening. Cocktails were $9, and colleagues ordered some food as well: - Tater tots (3/5): a bit oily but such a good late night snack - Crispy Calamari: didn't get to try but colleagues enjoyed this ($9 plate) - House Bread with butter, (2/5): not my favorite but this was free Jaegar bombs were not part of HH menu, and waitress was unsure how much each cost until we got the bill... it was $20 each! Be warned !

I visited STK Steakhouse Bellevue for a work event, and had a good experience overall! The restaurant was tastefully decorated with huge floral "STK" lettering, neon signage, dim purple lighting, and sleek modern bar. Our group was put in a back area, which worked well for standing up and mingling. For drinks, I chose the White Sangria (NA), which was fine but too sweet for me. I do wish they had lighter/more refreshing mocktails! For food, I tried the Parmesan Truffle Fries, which were nice and crispy. We also ordered the Japanese A5 Wagyu Tacos, but these were not my favorite. The meat itself was good but there was too much mayo on top, and the flavors didn't work super well together. However, the Oysters on the Half Shell were fantastic - super fresh! Our server was personable and efficient. Would return to try more items!

    18 ounces of steak, maybe

Real ripoff. This is a 120 something dollar 18ounce steak. Added the shrimp for $14 and got one. My wife is not happy with you guys...and she orders a lot of stuff

Excellent service per usual. Just came here for a quick bite to eat. Grabbed a NY strip, mac n cheese, and the mini doughnuts. The steak was cooked perfectly. Mac was rich with great flavor and the mini doughnuts were light and sweet. I enjoy that they play light music in the background.

STK Bellevue has a stylish, energetic vibe, but it feels more like a nightclub than a classic steakhouse. I'm probably more of a traditionalist, so while I liked parts of the decor, the overall atmosphere honestly felt a little like a bowling alley. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. The tater tots were stunning and unlike any I've had before. The calamari was also delicious. I ordered the ribeye, and unfortunately it was chewy and disappointing. For a restaurant that specializes in steak, it just did not meet expectations. Compared with Bellevue steakhouses like John Howie Steak, Daniel's Broiler, and El Gaucho, STK falls short where it matters most. The staff was nice and had a young, vibrant energy, but the service was not as attentive as I expected for the price. The other people I dined with had the same impression, so it was not just me.

Went back to give the fish and the steak a second try ! Unfortunately, my mind was not changed. Service was divine. Very quick and attentive. Atmosphere is intimate and casual yet upscale. The branzino came with a side salad of thinly sliced carrots and zucchini, dressed with olive oil, lemon and salt, and rice. Was too salty for my taste on its own. The fish had a crispy skin to start, but got less crispy as I continued to eat. The rice was my favorite part about the fish - I think it was flavored with garlic butter. Everything tasted good if eaten all together, but the fish and the salad by themselves were not my favorite. The lobster Mac and cheese came out piping hot with a good cheese layer and lots of lobster meat chucks. I like how creamy the cheese sauce was. Found out thy have a weekday happy hour. Might be a preferable and more affordable option. Total for two appetizers and two entrees was about $200

I've been to STK multiple times in Bellevue (and NYC.) Unfortunately, the food is OK for a high end restaurant but with frequent incorrect preparation and very high prices. Yesterday our steak was undercooked as were our two lobster tails. Each time I go to STK I tell myself it's the last time and then maybe after a year goes buy I think about giving it another try. This time I figured the $49 dinner would be more inline with fair pricing, but they managed to mess up the food prep AND the pricing. We went Thursday and asked about the $49 filet + apps and they said it was only for lunch so I paid $700 for three of us to eat (which I expected after they said they wouldn't do the $49 dinner.) Then as we were leaving there is a sign saying "$49 Steak NIGHT" for Thursdays so I have no clue what they are doing over there. The staff was certainly friendly but mispronounced multiple items on the menu and wasn't particularly attentive. We waited a while to inform them of the undercooked food and decided to eat a bit of it after sitting without anyone checking on us. Eventually we saw the waiter and he still wasn't coming to check but we flagged him over. Having worked in a steakhouse myself we would also do a "first bite check" where we'd serve the food and make sure to come check after the guest cut into the steak - and this was a lower end national chain. They waiter did bring out a nice dessert with a written message in chocolate which was nice - but is also something I would expect to be the default for a special occasion at a restaraunt like STK.

First time coming here not for happy hour, mostly by default since there wasn't much open in the Bellevue downtown area during Christmas. Glad we were able to walk in and get a table because the holiday vibes were definitely on point. Service was on the slower side, but it felt like they were simply slammed with holiday traffic. We came in around 2pm for a late lunch, which turned into the start of early dinner service, and it honestly never slowed down while we were there. We started with oysters, which I didn't even realize they offered, and they were excellent. They also bring out a complimentary bread situation with what tasted like baked feta and plenty of butter, which was a great surprise. The Caesar salad is large enough to share between two people and was quite good. I ordered the miso sea bass, which had great flavor, though it felt like it may have sat a bit longer than ideal before serving to the table. We also added the cheese-crusted mashed potatoes, which are basically a meal on their own. Overall, it's a really nice spot with great ambiance, but I think this is a place I enjoy most during happy hour. I've consistently had quicker, smoother experiences then, and the holiday rush made things feel more chaotic this time around. That said, the vibe is great, and it's still a place I'd come back to.

Unless you come on day when there's a special.....save your money. I visited last night and ended up spending $370 for two people. Everything is a carte and adds up fast. A small side of kale is $21. Everything tasted good...but it's not worth the cost. Save your money

We went to STK for a Sunday afternoon happy hour and also to watch the Norway vs. Brazil World cup match. Unfortunately, there was a TV in the bar area but we were seated pretty far in the main dining area, which was fine. The happy hour menu food was pretty good. The burger and truffle fries was perhaps one of the best I have had, the giant wagyu meatball was super good but the tuna tartare taco was a total let down. Prices were pretty reasonable and the drinks were solid. The service was definitely the most challenging part. Our waitstaff did not know the menu well, had to ask the kitchen for help, said one thing did something else, messed up our burger order (left out a few basic items like cheese) and was super distracted. Unfortunately, they were out of many of the $3 items on the happy hour menu plus they had kitchen issues that very day, which was sad. I would go again to give them a second chance.

I came here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the assortment they offered. Inside is very nicely decorated for the holiday season and it gave a classy atmosphere. My friend and I were seated immediately in the booths and our orders were taken. We just wanted a light snack and decided on their Burger and Fries. The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly while the burger felt a little on the dryer side. It might have been the bun that didn't taste the most fresh but regardless we finished it. After just sitting and taking our time after finishing, we noticed that the waiter had kept asking us if we wanted to order more or if we were finished. We didn't think much about it but once my friend got up to use the restroom, the waitress came up to me and asked me if I was ready. I told her I was going to wait and she seemed to have a negative attitude. At this point, I felt rushed. We decided to get an order of the Tater Tots because we wanted to stay a little longer and keep talking. Even though the restaurant was empty, it still felt like our server was waiting for us to leave. After the food came out and we finished, we were ready to leave. Everything besides the service was great here. I would understand if the restaurant was packed but it wasn't. We probably only sat there an extra few minutes before ordering more and kept being bothered about being ready for the check, which neither of us appreciated.

STK Steakhouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - STK Steakhouse

Is it packed and hard to get seating for happy hour?

I went on a Friday around 5:15 and they had plenty of availability. They allowed us to order happy hour from anywhere inside the restaurant too.

How much is the date night menu?

Count on $100 each. And they play music as if it was a dance club.

Can i bring my kids here?

Sure, if you don't mind paying full price and an atmosphere that's akin to if a steakhouse met a nightclub. There's no restrictions, no kid's menu, and I can't recall seeing anything on the menu that is what would be appetizing to a child but then…

Reservation is necessary for Happy Hour?

    No, it isn't.

Do you have a heated patio?

    No it's all indoor.

Is the outdoor seating covered to protect against rain?

    Uncovered heated patio 1/22/2022.

    When is happy hour?

Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:30 pm

The manager was very understanding and acted quickly to switch us to a new server, and they let us order the oysters with just the migonette. Even though the manager comped the oysters, and was trying to salvage our experience, our visit was pretty much ruined by that server. I've never been openly disrespected by a waiter like that before, and I've played the interaction out in my mind multiple times, and I still have no idea what made him crash out like that. Servers are the face and the personality of any restaurant. And to see a waiter get so openly hostile when someone is trying to I ever encountered a server who was even a fraction as rude as this guy was - he went from zero to hostile in a matter of seconds, and I still have absolutely no idea why.

The uni toast was a little too much toast but it was a generous amount of uni. The Rubik's cube was a literal cube of meat. They cook it to perfection in front of you. Lots of sauces and sides to try. Everything was very good. It's amazing how different each cut of meat tastes. I loved the silky egg yolk in the volcano. They offer bottle service as well as drinks and their drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back!

Checked in on us a few times but not overdoing it. He was very personable to nearby tables. Our dishes were quickly taken care of, waters always topped off. This is an unbiased review, he didn't ask me to leave a review for him :) - [4/5 ] Food We got a bread and butter to start. My husband got the Japanese A5 wagyu paired with lobster mashed potatoes. I got the fresh NW King salmon. Food was delicious! The steak was melt in your mouth tender. My salmon was cooked perfectly too. They gave us 3 different salts to pair our food with which was fun! Emil also brought out a small dessert since we were celebrating my husband's birthday which was thoughtful of them to do! - [ 5/5] Location/Parking Restaurant is located in the Bravern. Park closer to the Amber side if possible. They validate parking!

I had their crab cakes for dinner and was surprised by the five huge cakes stuffed with lots of crab meat. My wife's steak and lobster was cooked perfectly, and the mushroom appetizer was delicious. The miso glazed fish was decent but we wished the miso flavor came through more, though the wasabi mashed potatoes were excellent.

FOGO DE CHÃO is brilliant and absolutely phenomenal if you're looking for a Brazilian steakhouse!!!…read moreThat's about all that needs to be said... period. But that's not my style so here I go... First off, the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant as you immediately step inside is spectacular. It's elegant but with a casual feel. Or maybe it was its casual with an elegant vibe... either way, you cannot go wrong. Depending on the time of day, if the wait is long, I'd suggest grabbing a drink from the full bar. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and headed over to the salad bar/cold cuts and grabbed some select items. I'm always careful to not overload on the trimmings as I'm here for the various cuts of meats. Pretty simple process. You flip your marker (green) over for cuts of meat being offered and over again (red) if you want to enjoy your meal. Then on and off again. The skewers of meat are divine, ranging from bacon wrapped chicken, to sausages, to a variety cuts and cooked beef, pork, or lamb. I opted for a 6oz. Lobster tail dripping in succulent butter, as well! Such an amazing experience! Thank you to the staff of Fogo and all of the chefs... hats off to you! As always, enjoy and Happy Sampling!

Fogo de Chão has officially entered its flop era…read more We usually come for the full churrasco experience, but on our last visit, we were practically begging for scraps. You'd think the gauchos were personally rationing the beef for winter...we were lucky if we managed to flag down three measly slices of meat all evening. Since the skewers were treating us like ghosts, we decided to order the dry aged steak that's supposedly sized for four people. Total fiction. What arrived was barely enough to satisfy two mildly hungry toddlers. Getting anything to the table took an eternity...drinks, side dishes, basic eye contact, yet the second we finished eating, the bill appeared at Olympic sprint speed. Truly unmatched efficiency when it's time to swipe the card. To top off the premium priced misery, the women's restroom was an absolute disaster zone. At this point, paying top dollar for neglect, false meat promises, and dirty restrooms is a hard pass. There are far better places to drop this kind of cash. We won't be back.

Almost 20 years later and now married, I wanted to bring my husband here and share this experience. Of course, we both had a great time. The atmosphere, the service, the food. Again, all wonderful! Parking is in the garage, and they validate. We got the Torched Salmon Belly (be sure to eat the leaf it comes on! it's part of the experience). Delicious! 10/10 would get again, mostly because the Shiso leaf was something I've never had before. The Grilled Octopus was wonderful and not chewy at all. Loved the Greek lemon caper pepperoncini vinaigrette that came with it. I read that a lot of others were recommending the Deviled Eggs, which we also got and enjoyed. I think one set was salmon and the other was tuna. You honestly cant go wrong with either. I feel like getting the Coconut Creme Pie is a must here. I love coconut, and oddly enough really dislike pies, so this wouldn't be something I would normally get. But with a presentation like this, how can you pass it up? I do remember getting this back in 2008 and loving it, and it seems my tastebuds haven't changed. 10/10! Get this! But only if you love coconut.

For two, we got a few appetizers (ahi tuna poke, crab cakes, raw oysters) and an entree to split (Jambalaya). Service was very attentive, checking in after each meal and even pre-splitting the entree which was great. Overall though, the appetizers failed to impress. The highlights of this meal were probably the raw oysters followed by the Jambalaya, which meant the rest of the meal left something to be desired. 3/5 stars for the average meal but +1 star for service.
