the pleasure of dining at a number of higher end à la carte steakhouses across the country (Mastro's in Malibu, Maple & Ash in Scottsdale, Steak 44 in Phoenix, Bob's Steak & Chop House in Dallas, and Fleming's at 7 or 8 locations to name a few), and unfortunately, this restaurant ranks near, if not at, the bottom. The ambiance, service, food presentation, and overall experience are nowhere near commensurate with the prices.

I came in for a table for two, me and my brother were celebrating him graduating school. He is a wheelchair user and is non-verbal but most of all he absolutely loves food. He was so excited to go to a fancy steakhouse! When we arrived, there was not a nearby parking spot so if you have a handicap placard try to arrive early to find a good spot to park. We were welcomed by the host who was very kind and fun, and the vibes were so cool. Dimmed lights, vibey music, and nice decor. We both looked at each other and laughed because we are young and have never felt so fancy and cool. We had an amazing server that I do not remember his name, but he was checking on us frequently and did an amazing job at explaining the menu items. Personally, I do not like steak and everyone had always told me it was because I have never had a good steak before. After ordering their 6 oz.

I visited for the first time on a Saturday evening. It was moderately busy but they seemed very well-staffed. We were immediately greeted and seated. The establishment has a fun vibe and is tastefully decorated. The live dj was fun to watch and listen to. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and even the wine list. They made great recommendations for food and drink pairings. They were very attentive and friendly throughout our whole visit. The bread that is provided as a starter was light and fluffy. It came with a great whipped butter and olive oil.

I've been to a lot of steakhouses, and after spending the last three days in Denver trying 6-7 affordable restaurants, I had higher expectations for STK. We were told it would be comparable to places like Capital Grille or Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, but it didn't quite live up to that. First, our food took over an hour to arrive, which set the tone for the evening. Surprisingly, one of my favorite part of the meal was the bread. I ordered the steak frites--the steak itself was actually pretty delicious, but the fries were cold and underwhelming. My husband had the NY strip with a peppercorn crust and mashed potatoes. The presentation was just okay; honestly, it looked like something he could make at home but he LoVED it and he loves steak.

We also tried the lobster mac and cheese, which was decent but nothing special. We didn't order drinks, but our server was kind and clearly did his best. Still, the overall experience dragged on--we were there for about 2.5 hours....

The atmosphere felt more like a club, with a DJ playing, which might appeal to some. I didnt mind but definitely lively atmosphere. This was our first time visiting STK in Denver, and overall it was just okay. I'd give it a 6/10, mainly because of the bread and my steak. Unfortunately, the rest didn't impress. ** also my server gave me a chocolate cake because I was celebrating two major milestone but the cake was okay too.

While driving to our hotel, I spotted STK and instantly knew we had to go as I'd never been before! Fate was on our side because when we checked in, the concierge informed us that hotel guests get 10% off at STK. AMAZING! On our way to dinner elsewhere, we decided to take a quick look at the STK menu... and before we knew it, we ended up having a full meal that started with just one appetizer, lol! Our waitress was phenomenal. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to recommend and explain a good portion of the menu while checking on us frequently. When we had to wait a bit for our check, she brought out champagne as an apology! Honestly, she had been so great throughout our meal that I didn't even notice the wait. Great experience at STK Steakhouse! We had a party of 14 and our server was amazing, attentive, organized, and kept everything flowing smoothly. They timed our pre-ordered apps perfectly and cleared the table right on cue for the tomahawk steaks and sides. Our birthday girl had a great time. We brought a cake, but since it's $5 per person to cut and serve, we boxed it up instead. The restaurant is definitely a vibe perfect for a girls night out and not too far to walk down market street (or uber/lyft) to the bars. For larger groups, the "private" open seating area requires a $2,000 minimum spend with a $1,000 deposit to book. Parking is easy with garage validation next door or valet available. Keep in mind valet will end when the restaurant closes so if you plan to stay out later, let valet know and you can pay so that you have your key to take your car at the end of the night. Super kind guy by the way!

Went for a bachelorette party, my birthday, and a reunion with old college friends and it was such a great time. The food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the ambiance was perfect. The music set the vibe without being too loud, so we could still actually talk and enjoy each other. This was my second time here, and even after not visiting for over seven years, it was just as good as I remembered. Honestly, the food was so good I didn't even stop to take pictures, which says everything.

Really sexy vibe with fantastic service that was right on point without going over the top. Knowledge of menu was top notch. We were not steered wrong! Those Parmesan crusted mashed potatoes will live on as THE mashed potatoes to beat. Great DJ and when Shots, shots, shots! rang out, we saw the sparklers and servers bringing us shots. Came here during Denver Restaurant Week. The service was great and the staff were attentive, but the food unfortunately didn't live up to the expectations. We noticed that several of the items offered on the Restaurant Week menu were also listed on their happy hour menu, which was a bit disappointing. The skirt steak didn't resemble the typical skirt steak we've had at other restaurants, and the potatoes served with it were completely flavorless. The cheesecake tasted like something you'd buy at a grocery store rather than a restaurant dessert. Also the upcharge for a single shrimp was $6. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food could definitely be better for the price.

Popped in for happy hour! They have amazing happy hour prices compared to their regular menu prices. Our waiter, Alfred(o), was energetic and attentive. Drinks were $9 compared to $23 any other time. They have a 3, 6 and $9 food menu! I tried the lil burger & truffle fries, short rib quesadillas and steak frites. All tasty, bite sized dishes. I will say, for the plates to be as small of servings as they were, food service was extremely slow!! I had 2 drinks before any food hit the table. I had a great time enjoying the ambiance and the photo stand.

I can definitely see the appeal of this restaurant. After all, it has a primo location, valet parking and the ambiance is amazing! Unfortunately, I found their actual steak and cocktail flavors a little lacking , considering the price point. I've had much better steak at other locations further south.

wao first timer -- and let me just preface i typically do not lov steakhouses but -- it was awesome c: it felt like; a club / bar / fancy restaurant and our waiter was so bubbly and accommodating. drinks weren't too strong but tasted veryyy naice. we got ribeye steaks, filet steak with lobster tail, linguini pasta with lobster, half dozen oysters, and calamari -- all p bomb.

I have only been to STK for dinner and my friend told me about their $9 burger for lunch and we decided to get that for lunch. It was pretty empty but it was probably because it was 1pm on a Wednesday. The burger was really good and I enjoyed the black sesame on the buns and the fries were good! So, we went on Christmas night, so understandably this is going to be somewhat of a unique situation. 6 people, including a toddler. We had 6 PM reservations. Upon arriving 5-10 minutes early, we were told they were "trying to get our table ready." They never informed us of a prolonged wait until later. We were seated at nearly 7 PM. Folks working there informed us that management commonly overbooked them. There was no indoor seating for the 20-30 people waiting for tables. Others had to wait outside in 30-degree weather. DoorDash/Uber Eats drivers also filled the area, with them needing to wait 20 or so minutes for the orders. Once we were seated, the server was fantastic. She was very nice, refilled drinks, brought us extra bread, etc. The best part of the night. She was also apologetic for the chaos. Bread took about 30-40 minutes to come. Our food took another 20 minutes. This probably explains the delay in seating folks as people are at their tables for upwards of 2/3 hours. Food was alright, but not for the price. We're not afraid to spend a good amount on good food, but if I spend $80 for gnocchi, I expect it to be better than the hole-in-the-wall Italian place down the street. Unfortunately, it wasn't so. Two of us got the sea bass, which was quite good, as was the complimentary bread (fresh!) and the Brussels sprouts. Chicken meal was moist, but not particularly flavorful. $20 plate of plain mac and cheese for the kiddo was alright, but it's $20 for a plain bowl of Mac and cheese. Portions are smaller, but not outrageously so. Bread and some appetizers help make up the difference if you've got an appetite. Atmosphere was busy, but not terrible once we were seated. Music was, however, very loud, though we were seated right by the DJ. Another note: The women's bathroom had no changing table for a baby. Not sure if they're hiding a family bathroom somewhere. I will add that we got a heavy discount after we were told we were "next" to be seated, then the manager seated two parties ahead of us, prompting our complaints. We appreciated that. Not a terrible restaurant, but at $50-$100 a plate, I would expect better. I know staff was overwhelmed, so not their fault, but after food started taking 45 minutes or more to hit tables, management should have shut down online orders, which were undoubtedly stressing the kitchen capacity. That was a failure on their part, so I can't completely excuse it. Maybe one day I'll end up there again, but won't be making an effort to. read more

Went here for happy hour drinks after work. It took 10+ minutes for a server to take our drink order outside, when the restaurant was at 30% capacity. All of their signature cocktails were part of the happy hour deal. But if you wanted to switch from tequila to mezcal, that wasn't allowed... I wasn't asking for top shelf, house mezcal would have been fine with me. Drinks came, we all got margaritas. Too much mixer and or lime. Wouldn't go back, plenty of bars near by with a better experience. read more

I have been a yelp user for 7 years, and this is the first time I have felt compelled to donate my free time to write a review. I was sitting alone in my downtown Denver Westin hotel on a cold snowy night, and I was hungry. I googled "closest steakhouse" - my thinking being that my phone would next display a steakhouse that was close to my location. This was not the first time I would be surprised that night! I am shocked at how adept STK is able to turn fleecing fragile egos into a art form by way of providing a false sense of opulence with the backdrop of early 2000's tacky vegas club vibes. I would never have thought selling costco ribeyes for $98 and then literally upselling butter and pepper $17 on was possible. Truly impressive. I paid $185 for sprouts soaked in syrup and soy sauce, a chewy steak, sparkling water and and a class of pinot. Imagine bachelorette parties being conned with sparklers and tired waiters yelling "WOOOO GIRLS" to the backdrop of SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS EVERYBODY. That is STK. It was very warm inside - air temperature was a relief from the storm. read more

We could have been treated any better. After having a bad experience at another steak house, we went to STK Denver, and the General Manager Neil Moxon took care of us. He turned what could have been a bad experience in Denver to the main reason for our enjoyment. The food was excellent, Charlie at the bar was fantastic, and the food could not have been better. Go out of your way to go to STK for a great meal, fun vibe, and delicious food. read more

Arrived around 2:30 on a Saturday, happy to order from the brunch menu. BTW Happy hour on the weekend starts at 3. I had the recommended flat iron Australian wagu, ordered medium. My hubby ordered the breakfast wagu burger. The burger was $10 and a good price for what he got. My $70 steak, meh. Unfortunately it was only barely pink in the very center cuts & well done at the ends. It was extremely tender, as you'd expect from wagu. The service was disappointing. We finally started to rely on other servers or bussers to relay messages to our server or order drinks. Our server didn't offer additional drinks to us (maybe bc it was now happy hour and at the discounted price?) we felt pretty abandoned and will not return. Strolling down town coming in on a whim and it was not a disappointment. We made toward the end of happy hour but still giving us advantage to grab a few appetizers goodies. I just experienced the absolute best food of my life. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, and our server Sam was magnificent. To start we ordered drinks. We both got the Strawberry Cobbler. I wasn't a fan of the graham cracker rim as it was soft, and the drink just wasn't screaming to me Strawberry Cobbler. I expressed that I wasn't wild about the drink, and they offered to bring me another at no charge. I decided to do the Spiced Watermelon without the jalapeño and a little bit sweeter than they actually make it. I typically do not like watermelon, however this drink was perfectly sweetened and balanced. Next their free bread is INSANE. It melts in your mouth like butter and the blue cheese butter on top elevated the flavors out of this world, the chive sauce it was served with had a nice herbal taste and made it even better. Our dinner consisted of the Free Range Chicken with Broccolini instead of the peas and beans & the Parmesan truffle fries (Me) and a Waygu Steak topped with a waygu butter, asparagus, and the traditional Mac n cheese (Partner in Crime). We'll start off with what could've been better and make our way up. I am always nervous to order Mac n cheese in restaurants because they just don't make it right. This was no exception. The Mac n cheese used a white cheese and it definitely could've used a yellow cheese to add salt to the dish, also there was a very tiny hint of congealing in the cheese. The broccolini was hard, I'm not sure if it wasn't cooked enough, but I would've loved a more tender broccoli. The Parmesan truffle fries were delicious. You could taste the truffle and the sauce they paired with it, a sweet kind of sauce, matched perfectly. Next up the chicken. It was very tender and not bursting at the seams with juiciness but moisture was still of no issue. The grill or pan sear on the chicken added a nice smoky taste to the chicken, I just wish it was seasoned a bit more. Even with that being said I would order that one again hands down. I forgot to mention we ordered the Bacon appetizer and I'm so glad we chose that over anything else. I am not wild about the fat on meat but the crisp crust surrounding the outside of the bacon, the spot on amount of fat to meat ratio, and the sweet tangy and smoky sauce caressing the bacon made me want to experience tasting it for the first time over and over again. Lastly my partner's waygu steak. I loved the experience they provided by melting the butter at your table. It melted in my mouth like a cloud (yes I tried some) and was laced with flavors of butter and a perfectly done steak. If I could afford to eat this steak everyday all day I absolutely would. Many of the employees came to check on us to make sure the food and service were good. I have never had a dinner as amazing as this. They mentioned they have brunch on the weekends and it is my partner and I'd mission to explore their brunch since we had such an amazing time at dinner. If you're looking for an unforgettable dinner experience , upscale yet still laid back ambiance, and GREAT MOUTHWATERING FOOD this should be the number 1-5 choices for you. STK always has a great vibe to it. We enjoy coming in here for the atmosphere, the good food and the cocktails. We definitely recommend happy hour, which they have daily. Cocktails for half off. They are typically $21!!! Which is crazy to me. Lots of appetizers on happy hour, as well. We recommend the Tuna Tacos and the shrimp cocktail. You get two of each when you order then. So $4 per taco and $4 per shrimp. Again- pricey. The calamari was very greasy this time and the hummus veggies were not the freshest. But overall still a very enjoyable experience. read more

After having a reservation ( which I had made 2 nights in advance) to celebrate my birthday, after arriving, We had to wait for over an hour, since it was so crowded indoor, we couldn't even stand inside, we had to wait outside in the cold. To me this is very unacceptable. This defeats the purpose of making a reservation! At least the entrée tasted amazing and our waiter was very nice. I've been to the one in Las Vegas. It's definitely swankier than it's DENVER counterpart. I'm still not convinced that this place can't be made to look like it's Vegas version. Not what it is now-boring looking. We had two different main dishes and a couple of sides. Company selected their thanksgiving meal. While I decided to forego tradition and ordered my Rib Eye Steak. Medium. This is where the saying not all that glitters is gold. This DENVER location served a much better piece of meat than the Vegas one. Tender. Devoid of tendons. Perfectly cooked. So...made a reservation a month ago only to be seated in the bar with a tiny table....my husband order Prime Rib...and he got shoe leather....my friends order the Delmonico and they got a piece of meat that looked and tasted like liver.... Tried this place with some family this weekend and highly recommend it for any celebration you're planning! The atmosphere is super fun here. They have great music, cool artwork, and neon signs. They came around mid-meal with sparklers and shots for the tables and danced around the restaurant (so fun, i LOVED it). All of the staff is SO amazing and friendly. Our server was so great about accommodating my dairy and wheat allergies. If you don't order steak, ordering the sea bass! It was simply incredible. My friends and I came in after a long, stressful week and she completely changed our moods and energy! Bastien's ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere is very old-school and welcoming. We weren't very sure how dressed up we needed to be, so I went with a casual button down and she wore a long skirt which made us over dressed compared to most in the restaurant. We saw everything from button-down shirts to T-shirts, shorts, hats, and flip-flops, so you can feel comfortable showing up however you want. We were seated upstairs, which ended up being a really cool space. With the string lights overhead and the circular room overlooking the dining room below. We started with a bottle of Oregon Cabernet Sauvignon, which was surprisingly reasonably priced for a steakhouse. It paired perfectly with our meal and was a great way to kick off the evening. For an appetizer, we ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts. They were prepared with an elote-inspired twist, featuring corn, onion, cotija cheese, and lime crema. I normally love Brussels sprouts, but this was probably the only miss of the evening for me. They weren't bad, just not something I'd order again. Every table also gets complimentary bread and butter. Nothing fancy, but it's always a welcome steakhouse tradition while you're waiting for your meal. For our entrées, my fiancée ordered the filet, and it was solid - perfectly cooked, tender, and probably my favorite steak of the night. Since it was my first visit, I wanted to try Bastien's signature 10-ounce New York strip with the famous sugar rub. I'm usually a filet person, but I wanted the full Bastien's experience. The sugar rub was fun to try. That said, if I had to choose between the two, I'd still take the filet next time. One thing that really sets Bastien's apart is the value. Every steak comes with vegetables (very small portion), your choice of potato, and your choice of soup or salad--all included in the price. That's almost unheard of at steakhouses these days. I had the loaded baked potato, which was excellent, while my fiancée ordered the mashed potatoes, and they were incredibly buttery and delicious. The value here is honestly second to none. Five stars for value alone. To top off the evening, the staff surprised us with a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary. It was a really thoughtful gesture. Cheesecake isn't usually my first choice for dessert, and my fiancée isn't much of a cheesecake fan, so I ended up eating most of it--but I certainly wasn't complaining. It was delicious. If cheesecake isn't your thing, they also have other desserts available on the menu, but this one was a complimentary gift from the restaurant. Overall, Bastien's delivers exactly what it promises: a relaxed, old-school steakhouse serving quality food at prices that are becoming harder and harder to find. While we'll probably continue choosing some of Denver's more upscale steakhouses for milestone celebrations, Bastien's has earned a future visit from us. Between the quality of the steaks, the generous portions, and the unbeatable value, we'll definitely be back.

So it's not like we did something to piss her off. When she arrived at the POS station - behind the bar about six feet from where we were sitting - she proceeded to complain about the "a-holes" (edited for language) using the Passbook and what a bunch of a-holes those customers were (not knowing we were in earshot). And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable. And doing it when the customers you're talking about are within earshot is the most offensive thing I've ever expereinced at a restaurant. You may go to Steuben's and have a nice meal, but just be aware that behind the bar, they're talking about what an a-hole you are.

I also overheard him make an inappropriate comment after she questioned him about it. While I couldn't hear every word, it was obvious from the interaction that he had deliberately passed me over because I declined the original seating option. There is a huge difference between politely declining one specific seat and giving up your place in line. The host's attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. The other hostess handled the situation professionally and was kind, but this host's behavior left an incredibly poor impression. I hope management addresses how guests are treated, because no customer should be spoken about or treated that way. To add to this- I absolutely love the food here, however this is not appropriate customer service

I am writing to share feedback regarding a disappointing dining experience we had at STK Steakhouse Denver on Monday, March 9. We arrived for our scheduled reservation and were greeted by a friendly host near the valet who checked us in. However, upon entering the restaurant, we immediately noticed extremely loud dance/rap music playing throughout the dining room. The volume was uncomfortably high and remained that way for the duration of our visit. After being seated, we also noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke entering the restaurant through the open front doors, which was unpleasant and detracted from the dining environment. Unfortunately, the level of service throughout the meal was well below what I would expect from a restaurant of STK's reputation. When I asked our server which whiskey is used in the house Old Fashioned, he appeared unsure and responded with "Jim Beam," which did not inspire confidence. Additionally, our water glasses remained empty for extended periods, finished plates were left on the table for too long, and our table received very little attention overall. We ordered the tuna tartare and Wagyu sliders as appetizers and did enjoy both. The sliders in particular were well-cooked, juicy, and flavorful. For my entrée, I ordered the Surf and Turf with béarnaise sauce. What arrived was extremely disappointing. The plate had no presentation, and instead of béarnaise sauce, the dish was served with what appeared to be a sweet barbecue-style sauce that did not complement a steak and shrimp entrée. The quality and presentation of the dish fell far short of what I expect from a fine dining steakhouse. After our plates were cleared, we waited a significant amount of time before dessert arrived. Although we ordered the same dessert, the portions were noticeably different. To make matters worse, no silverware was provided, leaving us waiting five minutes before we could eat. I came here in December, and let me tell you, this place is gaudy! I didn't even get a chance to try the food because I was stuck waiting for a table for almost 2 hours! And this was with a reservation. My entire party was there early, as instructed, because they told us if we didn't show up 15 minutes before our reservation, we'd lose it. How rude to demand people show up early only to make us wait hours after we arrived. We checked in on time, and instead of seating us, they had us stand in the front area, which was overcrowded with other people waiting. The place was packed like sardines--definitely a fire hazard! It was uncomfortable, cramped, and to make things worse, we were stuck by the cold door. There was no room to move, and we were practically cheek to cheek with strangers. I've been here before, and the food wasn't even worth it back then. It came out burnt, so this time I didn't miss much, but the entire experience was a complete waste of time and money. Don't let the big name fool you--this place is not worth the hype. After that horrible experience, I decided to speak with the manager, hoping she would at least acknowledge how bad the situation was. Unfortunately, she didn't care at all. Instead of showing any concern or trying to make things right, she barely listened and dismissed everything I said. It was clear that she had no interest in addressing the issues or improving the experience for future guests. I expected some level of empathy or at least an apology, but there was none. Her indifference only made the situation worse, and it was really frustrating to see that management didn't value my experience. After much anticipation of dining at STK, I must say it was a let down. Maybe it was just our server who made our experience bad, I can't tell. The decor is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, at $90 per person average I would expect the steakhouse service that comes at that price. Serving men before women, sitting down at our table for to chat, it just felt off. When he would approach our table (which was not very often) he would just pull up a chair and interrupt our conversation. I thought that was very rude. My mother spilled her drink on accident and probably 5-6 people, including a female manager, walked by several times and watched us clean it up without offering assistance. My 10oz filet was was over done and when I told our server, he told me it's not overdone that it's just the lighting in the room. The lighting in the room doesn't dictate my taste buds. My steak was over cooked and dry. We brought in a cake that our server forgot about. I had to leave the table to go alert someone we were waiting for it. He dropped it off at the table w/o plates, forks, or a knife - and then we literally never saw him again. If you want to offer fine dining then do fine dining. STK Steakhouse really disappointed me, in both the service and the quality of food. My partner and I went for restaurant week (which included a variety of specials), which is what we ordered, but from the very beginning of the meal, after the waiter realized we weren't ordering from the main menu, we were treated poorly and our steaks were like cutting leather. And please don't be mistaken, we still spent $200 on this meal with tip. So even though we ordered off the restaurant week menu that offered a discount or special, we still spent a fortune. We weren't even asked for our dessert of choice, they just brought us whatever suited them and I never received my glass for my beverage. Honestly, I felt like they judged our wallets without even knowing who we were. In my opinion, if you're going to offer a special with the main reason to get new people in your door, then don't treat them like they aren't good enough to eat at your restaurant. Went to STK the on Wed. and to my surprise it was pretty dead. I am from California and last time I came to Denver, STK was pretty poppin, im sure it was just because it was a Wed. and in the middle of the week. It was great food we had the Tuna tartar as a app and it was amazing and everything else was great as well. The only thing I would complain about is the front host. There were 2 up there, one with curly hair and some bright red lips and another with colored eyes and brown straight hair. Upon arriving we were greeted by red lip girl and she was great, very welcoming and seemed to be very happy to have us in, she even had a short meaningful conversation with us and kept a smile to her face. We followed the other host to our table and she seemed like she hated her job and had no idea what to do (most likely she was new and needed more training) . She also talked in a (not to be offensive) gangster slang. Would definitely suggest having some extra training for the newer hosts. read more

Deeply disappointing meal. Our large group went for thanksgiving but ordered off the regular menu. The vibe was a combination sports bar / Miami nightclub. Staff were quite nice, but unpolished and inept. Food was delivered in waves, which meant that half of it ended up getting eaten cold. My $73 medium-rare NY strip was tough and room-temperature. Meh. The thin au poivre sauce did little to help. The creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts sides were flavorful (but cold), and the truffle fries were disappointing but very abundant; reminded me of Wendy's. Our service was haphazard. For efficiency's sake, waiters should simply look up at the other diners at the table before leaving the table. It's Server 101. These guys didn't do that, so I watched them run back and forth for one thing or another. As I waited for the sauce and side they forgot (twice). My family was happy, but I was disappointed. read more

We celebrated our anniversary at STK Steakhouse and had an amazing time. The tuna tartare was a delicious starter, and for our main course, we indulged in the Filet with lobster tail and shrimp, topped with the wagyu umami signature butter. It was truly exquisite. We also had the delightful smash potato, which was the perfect complement to our meal. The creamy texture and flavorful seasoning made it a standout dish. We also couldn't resist trying the lobster Mac and cheese, which was rich and flavorful. To quench my thirst, I enjoyed the refreshing guava berry kiss, while my husband opted for the stronger el Toto Reno cocktail. The waiters were attentive and polite throughout our meal, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The ambiance was perfect for friends and family celebrations. I was at STK Denver for Christmas Day with friends and we paid a bill of $934 out of which $778 was in cash and only $156 was on one credit card. The waitress charged the full amount on the credit card and took the cash and never reported it. She didn`t bring back a credit card voucher either and when we approached her about it she said it wasn't printing. When we realized what had happened, due to the bank statement, we brought it up to the manager, Diana Rodriguez, and although she already recognized the fact that the waitress stole from us and would reimburse the amount, its been more than a month and nothing. Trying to get in touch with her is impossible; she is never available". In addition to all this, the service from this waitress/thief was horrible. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at STK Steakhouse Denver, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our server, Jordan S., was outstanding. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and deep knowledge of the menu truly enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was chic and inviting, perfect for a special night out. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the sides were equally impressive. i cannot believe some of the LAME reviews on this place! The bartenders, Liz, Britt, Kylie and Christian are terrific! I always sit at the bar. For lunch, order the burger and fries. Great beef Under $10 bucks and cooked to order. Try to get that at Burger King! Drinks are NOT watered down like most places. The service is fast, friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and dark. Great music playing just loud enough not to disturb your conversation. The rest of the menu is a bit pricey, But we are talking prime Wagu steaks, not a commercial grade cow... Just don't have them burn it well done. Nothing has any flavor cooked like that. read more

When I was reading the reviews for this place I thought it was strange that literally every single one mentioned a servers name, that should have been a red flag. Still I made the mistake of thinking this spot could be worth trying out. Then after eating a grossly overpriced meal and watching the entire staff ignore tables and act extremely unprofessional my server (almost desperately) asked me to leave her a review. Makes sense now. Quality restaurants get authentic quality reviews. Maybe if the food and service were actually good, servers wouldn't have to beg for positive reviews.... If steak is in your name, you should definitely cook them correctly. My friends ordered medium rare and medium they were both very well done. No pink. The Tuna Tartar Tacos were very small, the service was downright awful. We had planned to order apps before our guest of honor arrived but he never checked on us. He delivered our meals prior to bringing us silverware. Then our cups sat empty most of the meal. The restaurant seemed like it had a cool vibe, was surprisingly very empty at lunch time. I think we would have had a better experience at Texas Roadhouse! Not the upscale lunch experience I was hoping for. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at STK Steakhouse for a girls night out and it was an unforgettable experience from the moment we walked in! The food was absolutely incredible-- full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail really stood out. The Waygu Sliders, Tuna Tartare and Truffle Fries were personal favorites, and I highly recommend it! The hosts and staff were attentive, friendly, and entertaining throughout the entire meal. Awesome all the way around. Great service, great food, great music... with great company. A shout out to our waiter Steven a.k.a. "The One" aka Neo; you helped us have a great evening. Also, to Eric (the manager?) who came by to see how we were doing. Finally, the music was great; thank you DJ Styles for playing what some call the worst rock 'n' roll song in history... We Built this City on Rock and Roll. Everything we had was delicious. Note: if you are a big eater, the portions might be relatively small. This is a quality restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The food is pricey and above mid-range but good. The menu is extensive and the service is impeccable. The food and the ambiance were outstanding and the STK Steakhouse will be at the top of our list for fine dining in Denver. This restaurant is a real WINNER! Just be ready to spend a bit from your pocket but then, everything was worth dining. I love to come back and recommend this place to my friends and relatives.
