If you have not been to Stone Arch and been waited on by the stellar Mona and her band of adorable misfits you do not know what you're missing. She is a consummate professional in a platinum blonde and beautifully tattooed shell. She remembers your drinks, makes an excellent Salty Dog, has extensive beer knowledge and serves it all up with witty banter. Even with a full bar she kills the service and does it all with good humor even at ungodly hours of the morning. Top notch! And lastly, the food is quite good and clearly made with love. read more

Passing through MSP for a layover and decided to get lunch and catch up on emails. The space/table was good, food was just OK for the price and my server Pepper was great. I was working while eating and there was a shift change soon after I paid the bill. 30min later the new server in the area interrupts me (I had my headset on) to tell me "if you are done, there is a lounge area out there" and kept walking before I could understand what was going on. I looked around and noticed the place was not full with plenty of seats. I also noticed a couple still there who was there before me. I tried to get the new servers attention and politely said "excuse me, are you saying I have to leave?" and she replied "if you are not going to order , there is a lounge area out there". I showed her my $40 receipt to confirm I did order and she said "I am trying to get people in" even though there were many empty tables and no one waiting! I reported her to the manager and left but needless to say I will never eat there again. There are many other good lunch options and the last thing anyone needs during a long day of flights is being treated rudely for no reason. read more

We had a normal landing in the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport but the storm of the Polar Vortex had already arrived and the outside temperature was a frosty -27° F. The sky-bridge was frozen to the ground and we could not get off the plane for an hour while they fixed the mechanical behemoth such that it could work and we could deplane. All connections were missed. After we finished with the airline securing seats on a plane to Los Angeles later in the day (a delay) we went in search of breakfast and found Stone Arch. It is a bar/restaurant near the entrance of Concourse F. We sat down close to the time that the kitchen was switching from breakfast to lunch, normally a disaster. Tom, our server, rushed in our order for breakfast. Those who came soon after started their day with lunch. I ordered the Stone Arch Breakfast: two eggs, hash browns, muffin and sausage. Tom came back immediately with the news that the kitchen had no more sausage. I reverted to the menu to find another choice and much to my delight and surprise I found my absolutely favorite breakfast meat in the world, SPAM. Yes Spam! I love it. It set me off on the right foot for what could have been a miserable day hanging around an airport. The Eggs Benedict were good too. read more

Let me tell you! I travel a lot and every time I fly through Minneapolis I absolutely have to stop here. The chicken wings are top tier and the beer selection they have on top gives a great variety and service team is pretty knowledgeable to give solid recommendations. The past few times I've been in Hannah has helped me out tremendously giving me new stuff to try. The Axe Man beer was a solid switch it. No way I would've chose that on my own. After going through TSA at MSP, I needed a beer! Stopped by the new Stone Arch. Sat at the bar. They happened to have my favorite MN craft beer Scotch Ale on tap (see the big white tap handle in the photo). I ordered the chicken wings. Very tasty, very spicy hot, very delicious. Glad I had a second beer to top it off. Flying through MSP 3 times in one week, I stopped by Stone Arch all three times. By the way, Stone Arch only serves MN craft beers. Ordered a massive plate of grilled wings, because I thought they'd be a healthier choice (I grill a lot of wings at home). Each wing was MASSIVE and there were about 6 to the total order. Super saucy. They also came out really, really fast...but it turns out I received the order for the woman sitting next to me. OOOOOPS (not my fault, obvs). Food was better than one would expect from an airport restaurant. My drink was spot on with no skimping from the bartender. The server I had was excellent; attentive, charming, and prompt. There were outlets for charging electronics everywhere. Each of us at the bars and high tables had outlets of our own. That's always a strong perk while traveling. read more

I've been here multiple times before flights, sometimes with plenty of time and sometimes in a rush. Most recently my wife and I were late for a early morning flight, traveling with a 3 mth newborn and hadn't had a chance to eat so we were starving and approaching a 5 hour flight with minimal to no food options. I was kind of looking around flustered and one of the waitresses asked how she could help/if I wanted to be seated. Despite it being packed they did their best to accomodate and we had some amazing breakfast burritos on the plane. Super thankful for them rushing the order through when they could have easily not prioritized the situation! Had to kill some time waiting for a flight, so I grabbed a seat at the outward facing bar. The menu is pretty straightforward. Ordered a pint, a Caesar salad and appetizer olives. My service was fast and just the right amount of friendly. Everything tasted great. The olives were an exceptional, pleasant surprise. From the first bite - a briny flavor explosion that finished with some rosemary and garlic. If you happen to be in the MSP airport terminal 1 - get some of these olives! read more

Perfect place to grab a drink or four while you wait for your flight. I am a big fan of breweries and everything beer. They have a wide range of local beers on tap which makes this place more appealing. The staff is super friendly and offer free samples while you decide what beer suits you. During my visit, there were a couple people offering free samples of a Pilsner from 56Brewing which was nice. Many people came to grab a drink and some came to grab a soup, salad, or full burger meal. I'll definitely come back as beer is my jam. I flew into MSP in a redeye and was tired and hungry. Stone Arch had a decent rating and I was out front at 6am. I am enjoying a very nice omelette with grilled mushrooms, onions, sausage and cheese. They even ask if you want the mushrooms, onions, and cheese in the hash browns. It's good, consider trying it. Even better is the staff. Good manning and they have perfectly solid coverage. I see 4 ladies behind the bar and I'm going to say they are taking care of everyone in here as well as I have ever experienced. Thank you for the good food and great service. read more

Stopped here because I had a 4 hour layover, unfortunately I was traveling with my family so I couldn't drink. I looked over their beer menu and I just thought it was interesting to see the different types of beer they have on their beer menu. My waitress was sweet. She checked up on us and handled other tables in a timely manner. Now for the food, I got the grilled cheese with fries. Waitress said she didn't like the coleslaw so I didn't want to take the chance I wouldn't like it either. My food was so good! Grilled mushrooms on a grilled cheese, who would've know! I give this place a 4 star because my family originally wanted burgers but were appalled with the "50 cent per topping" rule. Other than that, the food was good and my waitress was sweet. read more

I don't get it. I think the reviews are higher than they should be. Good beer selection here but do not, please do not come here for the food. Family of four. My breakfast sandwich was bland, not well prepared and seemed to be assembled by a child. Wife had a Cobb salad. Ingredients were sad, low quality lunch meat, blah dressing, croutons had to be from an out of date box and all around poor job. Daughter got the beer cheese. It was thin, cold and had the consistency if spackling paste. Was supposed to come with big homemade croutons, no bread to be found. Asked for croutons, sliced wet bread was introduced. Daughter not happy. Son ordered the cheeseburger. Small, bland, looked like it came off the kids menu at a chain.
