This was located in the food court of the Westfield Culver City. Noticed that they had oven sandwiches and it looked pretty good. I tried out two sandwiches. Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Potato Salad - The sandwich was pretty bomb. the bread was toasted and the chicken was tender and was flavorful. Potato salad was good too. (4/5) BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich with Pasta - This is the sandwich to get. Loved the flavors on this one with the beef and the side pasta was delicious. (5/5) Pretty solid fast food (only took us 3 minutes to get our order). Oddly enough the guy behind the counter said we weren't allowed to take pictures of them making it which was really confusing since what are they trying to hide lol. Very awkward experience but whatever food was good.

Stone Oven has been one of my favorite food court staples for over a decade now and although locations are very scarce all over LA now I'm excited to have this one close by to fulfill my cravings whenever I want one of their sandwiches. The ladies at the front counter working today were very friendly and ensured that everything I wanted to order was prepared accordingly, they also let us try a sample of their Mango Lemonade which was really tasty. My go to sandwich is the Santa Fe Hot Ham sandwich and it never disappoints, it's packed with so many good flavors and it has enough toppings that mesh well together so that you truly taste a bit of everything. My mom joined me for lunch today and she got the Garlic and Pesto chicken sandwich, she said it was alright but it lacked a bit of flavor so we ended up having to ask for a side of sauce to add into the sandwich. Overall this is definitely one of my go to spots if I see it in a mall food court, the way they make the sandwiches in an actual stone oven makes them 100% more special and unique than any other sandwich places you would find in a mall.

Customer service was really good. We appreciate the nice and warm welcome. Would suggest coming to get good eats.

    Amazing life bringing juice!!

Really great service/ food outstanding, honestly life changing experience can't wait to come back!

This place has been great every time I have visited! Yeah sure, sometimes the staff do not seem to be too enthusiastic to be working, however, the food is great! I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. I'm not so sure what they put in that potato salad but it's definitely addicting! I tend to go just so I can get potato salad haha. If you're in the mall and you aren't too sure what to get. Go here.

I got the AvoToast which is vegan by default (yay!) and it was very tasty and meticulously crafted. But the real show-stopper was the BUTTERFLY PEA SMOOTHIE BOWL (also default vegan). WOW!!! I've had smoothie bowls all over and it's definitely up there in the top smoothie bowls I've ever had. I couldn't stop eating it!! It had a very nice natural sweetness which was undeniable, but it wasn't overly sweet or saccharine in an artificial tasting way at all and had the right assortment and amount of toppings. And it was picture perfect beautiful to look at too. I absolutely destroyed that thing haha. The person behind the counter helped me figure out what I should get and was very patient (I had a little first time analysis paralysis ). I'm only docking a star because when I first went in it smelled very strongly of onion and the smell didn't go away completely the entire time I was there so it was quite strong. They did have the AC blasting maybe to combat the onion smell? But it was way too cold in there even before I started eating the smoothie bowl (and almost unbearably cold once I did--but it was so good I couldn't stop). I feel like those are easy fixes though and if you're getting the food to-go like most people seemed to be doing, wouldn't be much of an issue. I will definitely be adding Sustainabowl to the rotation from here on out! (Sorry, no pics--I couldn't wait to eat both dishes!)

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

It's easily my new go-to. Pro tip: Since I was ordering delivery, I called the restaurant directly right after placing it to ask if they'd leave the patty on the grill just a touch longer than usual. They were so sweet about it and executed it flawlessly. Also, can we talk about the coleslaw? I usually steer clear of restaurant slaw because so many places drown it in heavy, uninviting mayo. But Sunshine absolutely delivered. Their dressing is beautifully light and slightly sweet--honestly, it makes an amazing burger topping. So many vegan spots rely way too heavily on processed, hyper-engineered faux meats and cheeses. This place strikes such a lovely, authentic balance. You can get a genuinely vibrant, healthy bowl, or dive into comfort food classics like their mean vegan chicken sandwich--and I hear the sweet potato fries are a fantastic side, too. To top it all off, the female owners are absolute gems. Even over the phone, they treat everyone with this effortless, warm hospitality that makes you feel like an old friend. It's just great energy all around. Check them out!
