I enjoyed coming here with my family. 2 adults and 2 children. Very family friendly location. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions about the menu. Even offered sample of the aguas when we had trouble deciding. Everything was delicious. Will be back soon

Everything aside from the outdoor heaters not working was great. The food was yummy, the space is beautiful, and the staff was quick and friendly. They have a wonderful menu and fun happy hour. I mean check out the photos!

I love this restaurant. I was visiting Los Angeles/Venice Beach last year and found a restaurant by the same name near our hotel. When we came back this year, we were hoping to go there again, but sadly that location had closed down. So, I tracked down another restaurant nearby. I love that they offer gluten-free burritos, which is so uncommon. I have been gluten-free for about 27 years and have seen a lot of changes in the market over that time. Tacos are easier to find, but gluten-free burritos are rare. I'm always thrilled when I find a restaurant that offers a gluten-free option for their dishes. I got the guiltless burrito without the cheese, but with vegan cheese, and it was delicious! It was flavorful and creamy, and I appreciated the option of cauliflower rice, which I prefer over regular rice. This made the meal even more enjoyable for me. The customer service representative who rang me up was Hector, and he was very friendly, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. It felt like I knew him--he had that rare ability to make you feel welcome and at home, even if you're meeting for the first time. That's what I remember about last year as well--everyone at the counter was very friendly. Hector also informed me that they validate parking for 90 minutes, which I hadn't known. Although I parked on the street without much trouble, it's great to know that validated parking is an option for next time. I think that's something that potential customers would like to know before they go there. It wasn't immediately obvious where the restaurant was from the street, but with the help of GPS, I found it easily. Once I parked, the walking directions led me right to the door. Last year, they left a very favorable impression on me, and this year they did not disappoint. The atmosphere was clean and upbeat, the staff were welcoming, and the food was phenomenal. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! I wish they would open a location in Northern California. It would be wonderful to have such a fantastic option closer to home.

It's a concert inside with loud obnoxious music. Oh, and Mexican food is served here too.

I got a potato burrito but ordered a meat one... this is ridiculous!! Not worth the money.

At Tocaya, Hector at the cash register is truly a shining star. His genuine kindness makes every visit a pleasure. Hector consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customers have a great experience, delivering top-notch service with a personal touch. His attentive attitude and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.

Great service! Love the atmosphere and the high quality food. Special shout out to Hector for taking my order and recommending a great burrito!

I ordered the California burrito tonight, which is supposed to be a chicken burrito with potatoes but there's way more potatoes than chicken... what a rip off!

I was blown away by the service. We were seated quickly in a hip and classy, but very casual sitting area outside, and our server was extremely kind and helpful with menu questions from start to finish. Drink-wise, I ordered the frozen slushee, and it was delicious. For our food, we had the bread plate (delicious), green papaya salad (amazing balance of sweet and spicy notes), Brussels sprouts (on the spicy side, but so good), and potato wedges (great crunch, and the aioli was superb). We each got our own larger plate: I ordered the moo yang, which was absolutely terrific with a great balance of flavors. My spouse ordered the yaki udon and only had great things to say! The show-stopper of the night, however, was the s'mores ice cream. Order this. Just do it -- you'll thank me later! Plenty of parking nearby in lots, and so much to do in this area of Culver City! This will be our new splurge spot, as it's somewhat pricey overall, but *definitely* worth every penny. I can't wait to return!

I didn't particularly enjoy this, but I think it's maybe an acquired taste. The sandwich tasted almost bitter to me, and I am not a fan of bitter personally, so I wasn't a fan. My friend thought it was okay, but we agreed we wouldn't order it again. It was beautifully presented though lol - chicken schnitzel: so tasty! The chili crisp was delicious on top and I loved how crunchy and tender this was. It also didn't feel too heavy to me, even though it's literally fried chicken. The salad was fine, but nothing all that exciting. The staff were very kind, and the spot is super cute.
