Horrible customer service today. A guy named Kevin was absolutely rude to me. I was on my lunch break from work and went down to get food as I only had 30 minutes. I usually get stone oven but today's customer service just made me as if I never want to go back ever again. Kevin, you should know better as to how to treat customers that come from other stores in the mall. I will complain to your manager/supervisor as I was unappreciated by the service that I was given. Hope you learn better. Never ever should you tell to your customer that they're rude. I won't be going back for your service. This is the best place to eat at the Glendale Galleria food court. Despite being a small chain, this place makes incredibly delicious food for a moderate price. You can get a sandwich or a salad for a little over $7. While that is around the same price as other mall food, their food actually tastes good. I was very impressed with the BBQ chicken salad. The portion size was satisfying. The sauce had a nice spice to it. They also include focaccia bread with every salad, which is crispy on the outside and fluffly on the inside. Never really write bad reviews but this had to have been one of the :/ experiences at stone oven. I usually go to the one at the Topanga Mall and those people are great but over here it seemed like it was there first days on the job. I think the manager was making the bread and all of the ones she took out the person cutting the bread would have to put it back in cause it was raw , all the employees seemed confused , giving out wrong orders not giving out receipts. You have to try their focaccia bread. It's a MUST. There's only two things worth getting here. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich and their AMAZING Focaccia bread. It's warm, soft, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. I think a large part of why it tastes so good is because it's baked right in front of you. SO happy that Glendale Galleria added Stone Oven to their food court! The food here is amazing man I have had this at Culver City when I was there for some training and was very excited to hear that Stone Oven opened a location here in Glendale where I live. I always get the turkey sandwich with bacon inside and Caesar Salad on the side. The dressing they use is amazing man I don't know if it is bought in or if they make it there but dam its good. The bread feels like heaven in your mouth when you take a bite out of it. It is so nice and soft and just tastes amazing. I have noticed the food quality here at this Stone Oven is different than the one in Culver City cause the one in Culver City is tastes different. Anyways other than that this place is very good when you are at the galleria and the healthiest thing you can eat while you are there. I LOVE Stone Oven but this location gives them a bad rap. I have been to the Stove Oven in Topanga Mall. That's where I found my love for this place, so when I heard it was opening in the Galleria, I was super excited. It meant I could eat there for lunch all the time! When I did get a chance to try it out, it was quite the dissapointment. The flavors were sort of all there but my plate was a mess. The people that work here do not give a sh*t about the food and presentation. The bread and stuff in between was all over the place, the pasta salad was mushed and sloppy. It looked nothing like what I had at the other Stone Oven, and it, indeed, ruined the yummyness of it. I will still support Stone Oven, but not at this location. read more

The main reason it gets so many stars is because it does a fair job for being a mall establishment. Employees are ok, food isn't too bad, prices are a tad high. The salads are usually drenched in the dressing, but you can't beat the fresh bread that you watch being baked in their huge wood fire oven. Half way through the meal and l'm always full. The portion size is good for the price. They have a lot of different options and you can always customize your sandwich. It was deceivingly small and sort of deflated looking (maybe it was because of the manner in which the guy put together the sandwich was very unenthusiastic about his job), but the flavors were so yummy that I would order this again!! I am a usual customer at Stove Oven because of how fresh everything is and also because I see it made in front of me. Not bad for food at the food court. I love how the bread is always freshly baked. Although the reason for my 4 stars is for the customer service. I always get good customer service. Sure at times the cashier isn't always smiling but I understand, they may not be having the best day. Yesterday I saw another customer who wasn't too happy and was speaking with a gentleman who didn't seem to take her concerns serious at first.
