Went to Stonebridge for the $20 prime rib special tonight for the first time. It was delicious! I also really enjoyed the apple vinegrette house dressing on the side salad. I'm not sure what happened (I don't think it was planned for them to be so under staffed) but they only had 2 people on wait staff handling the restaurant and almost every table was full. Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was fantastic! She ran that dining room efficiently and we never needed anything that we had to wait for! There was also a gentleman going around from table to table to make sure everyone had what they needed. I was very impressed and happy with this dining experience! read more

I went here last night for dinner. They've come along way. We went in around 7:00pm and the place was hopping but we were seated right away. The server was right there when we sat down and took our drink orders and described the specials. We ordered and our food was out before we finished our drinks. I ordered the squash soup and the fried green tomatoes special and both were very good! The fried green tomatoes had some unexpected combinations on the plate. Romaine, apples, strawberries, cream cheese, and barbecue sauce drizzled over four slices of panko breaded green tomatoes. It might sound like a strange combination but it was great! I also noticed a deflation in the prices overall on the menu. My only reportable negative was that the servers didn't seem to have a dress code expect for wearing black and one of the servers had on some serious booty shorts and it didn't look professional at all. Yikes. Overall we had a really enjoyable night out and I'll be back to try out something new. I was very happy with this experience and if things stay the same I'll be back. Based on other recent reviews it seems like they struggle with consistency of good service but my own experiences with service on my two visits has been above par. read more

My boyfriend and I went to eat here a couple weeks ago, and I just wish I could reverse time and not make this decision. Our waitress wasn't the best, middle aged black lady. Didn't offer to refill my drink once. However, I'm just going to skip forward to the worst part of any meal I've ever had - I brought half my crab cake home, and later upon going to finish it, I chomped down on a hard piece of plastic. Something clearly broke in the kitchen and part of it ended up in my crab cake and then in my mouth. AWFUL!! I wish I had found this while we were in the restaurant so we wouldn't of had to pay $75+ for a mediocre meal. KEEP DRIVING. Food/prices/service are not worth stopping. WILL NOT BE BACK. Would love for the owners to get in touch. Finding plastic in food is unacceptable. read more

This local bar and grill is super convenient for those of us in the Parkton area. The food is always consistently good and the service has always been top notch. Sometime specials are a bit pricey for this type of restaurant but overall the pricing is good. Some of our favorites, the Cobb Salad, the flatiron steak, and the Thursday night prime rib special is a deal that can't be beat. I will continue to be a regular. read more

Arrived at 5.30, The waitress came to get our initial drink order and meal order and then we didn't see her for another 20 minutes. didn't get our basket of dinner rolls until probably 40 minutes after we arrived while multiple other tables received there's before us. We then noticed that THREE tables who arrived probably 15-20 minutes AFTER us received their meals before us. We did not order anything special either just typical entree meals. We finally got our meals about 10 minutes after the waitress finally stopped back over because she probably noticed the expression on my face was that of someone who was severely pissed off. So after about an hour of waiting we finally got our food. This is not to say our waitress wasn't friendly and the food wasn't good but the fact that we got our food after multiple other tables arriving 15-20+ minutes after us is completely unacceptable. Not sure if I'll be back there but who knows the choices for restaurants are pretty slim up here. Perhaps if they can get their stuff together I'd be willing to get them another chance. read more

This was our second visit to this restaurant and will not be our last. Good service, good beer, excellent food. We branched out to the nachos supreme - definite WOW factor. I could have made a meal if the nachos. We both had burgers cooked exactly as we like and seasoned to perfection. The accompanying fries were delicious too! Great restaurant. Food was fantastic! I asked server her recommendations of four items. She said definitely the pot roast and my daughter got the crab cake. My only criticism is the server she provided. We had to grab her attention several times even though she visited the table behind us multiple times. Had dinner here tonight. Great atmosphere, really good food it's just a shame the owners are on the road to ruin and don't even know it. We arrived around 8pm only to find one server handling all the tables. Steve was doing his level best but when you expect one person to take orders, get drinks, serve and bus one should not be surprised when the service is less than excellent. Steve was trying hard and should be commended for keeping things going as well as he did. We asked why he was the "Lone Ranger" tonight and he shared others had called out. News flash to the owners, "hire people that will work when you need them, not just show up when they feel like it!" This place has a really bright future if you can figure out how to staff it correctly every day and night. And when you can't staff it correctly then you better start working some double shifts until you figure it out or start planning your exit strategy. read more

Had dinner here July 3rd 2019 with my super fantastic wife, atmosphere was good, beer and wine was good but that's about it! We ordered Crab dip and mozzarella cheese for an appetizer, they both were terrible! My wife had Shrimp Scampi with pasta and I had a Club Sandwich with fries, the Scampi taste horrible and the fries were way over done and tasted like they were fried twice! The Club Sandwich was ok, it's hard to ruin a Sandwich! The service was at best a 5 out of 10. Bartender was to busy and need help for sure, hard to tend to the service bar and keep up with a bar full of customers. They need to back up and re-group for sure!!! read more

Wife and I went in last night and the service and food were great as always! Usually get the pot roast or the meatloaf, both homemade and great comfort food. Tried the Maryland burger for the first time however and it was equally as good if not better. In every bite you get the smoky ness from the ham, a mouth watering burger, the crunchy and refreshing taste of the tomato, the spice from the crab and aioli. After having gotten off exit 36 and turning right for three years, we decided to try a new restaurant by turning left instead. We were very pleasantly surprised by discovering the Stonebridge Grille. We were greeted by Jim the manager/head bartender who seated us on the deck, at our request, where we had complete privacy. The bubbly, yet smart and authentic Lauren served us. It was crabcake night, so being in Maryland, I had to have the crabcake, and my partner ordered the zucchini cakes for our entrees. The chicken flatbread with ranch and strawberry barbeque sauce sounded interesting, so we ordered that with the bacon potato soup for starters. Everything was flavorful and interesting. The only complaint I would have would be that both our "cake" entrees were seated on tomato slices. Being in tomato harvest season, I thought that the tomatoes should have been fresher, riper and redder. We even ordered the chocolate mint bread pudding to take home for later. Lauren's service was genuine and attentive. Jim came to our table to chat and answer any questions and shared that there is live music Friday nights. Shrimp Salad Sandwich was very fresh and packed full of shrimp. Crab Cake sandwich was a full size crab meat with lump crab meat and little filler. Cheesecakes made on site and were worth leaving stuffed. The Raspberry and Blackberry Swirl Cheesecake was so light and left me wishing we had gotten a piece or two to go for later. read more

Never consistent! However it's the best place in town. It's nice to have a place in Hereford zone with a friendly bartender "jimmy" and a good atmosphere. I like to see the food improve Way too much garlic powder in their blue cheese dressing, the wedge salad comes out beautifully but by the end you're burping up garlic powder. Come on guys use fresh garlic. The Thai chicken salad is very good but a little sweet. My husband always goes for the wings and is never disappointed. The flat iron steak served ever warm spinach tomato and mushroom salad is my go to but again a little sweet. Some menu items confuse me like the Amaretto raisin cream cheese on Fried green tomatoes with barbecue sauce??? What, Is it a dessert or an appetizer Chicken marsala is a whole breast not scallopini, chef's a little heavy handed on the sugar and garlic powder. Fresh is best! We called ahead for a large party. The putz owner pleaded ignorance. 12 of the 15 people were there, but he wouldn't seat us. He broke up our table. Then since he wouldn't seat us, we offered to break up our party, but he couldn't seat us right away. So we went to the filler up gas startion down the street. I won't patronize him, and I will encourage others to do the same. Hopefully he annoys other patrons and his lack of customer service leads to a chapter 7 filing. read more

Stopped here on our way home from skiing at Roundtop. The food was excellent and there were a lot of gluten-free choices. I had the brisket which my 13-year-old kept trying to steal off my plate it was so good. She had the strawberry salad which had tons of bacon on it. My husband had the steak which he said was good but the loaded mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing. Our server had many tables to deal with but she still took great care of us. Ah, I want to like it here! It's a mile from our house and my husband and I enjoy going out during the week to get a couple of drinks and dinner. We've been there three times. I cannot complain about the food. I'm not a pot roast person, but I tried my husband's and it was incredible. But one time we went with my family who came in from out of state and we were enjoying dinner and catching up. I believe they closed at 9pm and by 8:55 they were flipping up all the chairs around us, we didn't even have our check yet. Another time I just went with a friend and got a Turkey Club. I always hope for oven roasted turkey, but it was thick sliced deli turkey. Not the end of the world, nothing that some bacon and mayo can't fix, but still underwhelming. Another time we went and sat at a hightop at the bar for about 20 minutes. They seemed busy, and my husband and I both manage restaurants for a living, so we get it. But no one even stopped in to drop off menus, or waters, or to say 'hey I'm slammed, but I am going to run this food and I'll be right over'. We weren't even acknowledged. We ended up going to another bar/restaurant close by. I'm not ruling this place out, I really want to like it! We will give it another shot in the near future. read more

Our server - Leah U - was outstanding. Patient and attentive. The kids meal was an OK value. We missed that it was applesauce OR fries with the kids meal. If they just throw in the applesauce they would exceed expectations. My wife had the BBQ Mac and cheese. It was mediocre. I had the smoked brisket with coleslaw and subbed the vegetables for fries. The vegetables were awesome. Brisket was well cooked and a generous portion but a little dry. I'd order it again and ask for the more fatty sections. Admittedly, the cut I received is likely what most people want. This place has improved significantly in the last several years. Plenty of craft beers and a creative menu. We will be back to try out more of the creative dishes for sure. read more
