Met friends here. Seated within about 10 minutes even though busy. I liked the dish I got- meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a side of vegetables. My friend got a crab dip and I did taste it and it had a nice flavor. I am not sure what my friends thought of their meals. My third visit here. Wife and I stopped on our way home. Had the pork chop, wife had shrimp dish (can't recall name). But we both enjoyed our dinner very much. Unfortunately this is a mixed review. Overall the taste of the food was OK. Gravy on pot roast was a little too strong. NY strip was ordered with string beans and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes and beans were cold. The steak was ordered cooked medium and asked to be pink but no red. The inside was red and it was cold. Desserts tasted OK but some were definitely overpriced. It's really a shame because we need more good restaurants in this area. Been here twice and each time the food is excellent and the atmosphere is really nice too. The Caesar salad is made with a homemade dressing and the soup is house made too. My husband had the porterhouse steak which was huge and he said it was amazing. My sister and I had the house special which was mahi mahi with a Chesapeake sauce which was very good too. The only thing I wish we could do is swap the suggested sides since not everyone likes certain things. However, that won't deter us from coming again. read more

Fantastic customer service! I am gluten free due to allergies to different pollens and wheat. The owner of the restaurant came and helped me pick a gluten free option and then personally delivered my food when it was ready! He said that he knows how important it is to properly care for food allergies and sensitivities because they are a serious thing! If I could give six stars I would!! We recently went back and am happy to report that it was an overall great experience, which surprised me and my husband but really made us happy because we were hoping it would improve over time. We had a very attentive, cheerful and efficient waitress. My hubby had the pot roast which is just delicious and a favorite. I had a pasta dish with shrimp and was very pleased. We were both too full to have dessert but plan on trying to save room next time because they sounded amazing. Hubby's salad was fresh and the mozzerella appetizer was very good. The bill was very reasonable and we will be back. However, the tables next to the bar get very loud and someone snatched a glass of wine the waitress had ordered for me so it was a little wait before I got it. It seems the bartender would prefer to talk to locals rather then wait on the other guests. SO disappointed!! When we arrived we heard a customer asking for a refund on their overcooked burger. We ordered cream of crab soup. It was filled with tons of shells! Then we ordered shrimp salad sandwiches. They were supposed to be on kaiser rolls, they were on stale hard hamburger rolls! They also tasted sour! And again shells in on the shrimp. YUCK! Convenient for this area. Pricey for what you get. Good ambiance except when they have live music (ugh). Nominal quality food, but since it's really the only game in town, we do it. Best thing on the menu is crab cakes which is interesting. Alcohol pricing is weird. I think I paid $7 or $8 for a Heineken. About the same for a local IPA on tap, but a good martini is only $6? Weird. Guess I'll just drink martinis here. Adjacent liquor store is a nice plus. If you're driving and don't want to drink with dinner, there's a good selection of booze to take home. read more

For a bar it is always hard to get served. Bartenders are always talking or socializing instead of tending their bar. Waitress are always good but are dependent upon the poor bartenders. Food is fair. Beer selection is below par for any craft beer fan. We live in pa so this is the closest place to play keno for us otherwise we would never come. First, employees behind the counter were loud and obnoxious upon entering the store. Store very dirty. Charged our credit card twice for the same transaction. Called and spoke with the manager the next day about the double charge on our bank account. Manager advised only way to be refunded was to bring in a copy of our bank statements. Really??!! (Our bank statements???) They could not handle anything over the phone. We had to make a trip from Baltimore (45 minutes) all the way to the store for the refund, when it was their MISTAKE. We just returned home after attending the Mother's Day Buffet. All of the food was excellent and the waitstaff was as well. The prime rib was excellent and the omelet station was run exceedingly well and the omelet was one of the best we have had. Wish you had breakfast every weekend. We had a wonderful experience!! Normally they do not take reservations, but having a large party,14, I decided to call anyways. They were more than happy to take our name and arrange seating for us. Even let us bring our own Birthday cake,for a small fee. The table was ready when we arrived. Leah, our waitress, was friendly and very patient with us. Made sure all orders were right an refilled our drinks when necessary. We started with the crab dip and pita bread. It was wonderful!! The cream of crab was delicious! Although it could have been hotter. My Grilled chicken Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. Other dishes that my family enjoyed were the Crab pasta and the Chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza. Great new place. Never was in the old place but when you walk in to Stonebridge the atmosphere is very pleasing, family friendly or date night ready.. Food was good. My husband had the meatloaf and that was excellent and we thought reasonably priced - $16. I had the salad special - excellent salad with apples, strawberries, greens, feta , candied peanuts, feta and wahoo. Dish was very good but I thought a little pricey when we received the bill. My fault I should of inquired or server could of informed us. Other then that service was good. Restaurant was 3/4 full when we arrived. Beer selection on draft - for craft beers - had several selections. Glad to see a new place in the area. We will return and I hope people in the area support the restaurant. read more

Just had a great meal. The renovations are nice and appropriate for the Hereford Zone. The cream of crab soup needed umpf but the steamed shrimp and spinach ravioli were excellent--so fresh. Driving from GA with my best friend from MD to Carlisle, PA we stopped at the Stonebridge Grille just to get a quick bite and get back on the road. As soon as my buddy and I entered the bar area we had a feeling this was the right place for us. Grew up in another state known for their gardens we were used to having great tavern food, albeit mostly pizza's and other Italian foods. At the Stonebridge we were quickly greeted by a wonderful waitress with all her teeth and seated in a very comfortable booth. The menu looked great and I was in a real quandary making a decision. We needed good quick food so.... what else but a burger and fries? A very short while later our gal appears with a monster burger and enough fries for four people. I couldn't wait to get to this part .... one bite of the best hamburger I've ever eaten in 70 years. My buddy is somewhat of a burger connaisseur and we agree these were delicious burgers along with some mighty tasty potatoes. read more

Place was not busy and only 3 people sitting at the bar so we decided to have drinks at the bar We waited 20 minutes for the bartender Michelle to finish her conversation with one of the waitresses about her life before she even acknowledged we we there. Finally she came over and to our drink order. Pretty simple order. I ordered a beer and my wife order water with lemon. She forgot the Lemon. 10,minutes later I was able to catch her attention to ask for the lemon. Then we order an appetizer and dinner. After 30 minutes she comes over to let us know that she forgot to place our order for our appetizer and our food would be out soon. She wanted to know if we wanted the appetizer with our dinner or after. Really? Food was decent but service horrible. I have had bad service in places before but this was the most bizzare lack of service I have ever experienced She spent more time socializing with her friends and fellow employees that taking care of customers. Had the owner been there I would have made sure he was aware. Since he wasn't , perhaps he will read this. My suggestion is to hire quality wait staff and this place would be great. We really had high hopes for this place. We were a large group and called to make reservations for a Sunday afternoon, but were told that they do not take reservations on weekends. So we had to go in and surprise the staff with our group of 8 (was planned for 14 but 6 people pulled out since they wouldn't take reservations.) Food was average but expensive. Staff was pleasant, but took appetizer orders one at a time, left to put the order in and then came back to the table to take another app order. Three mozarella patties (about the size of a half slice of mozarella) with lots of breading and very little cheese for $8. Raviolli appetizer was average with lots of extra sauce. Meatloaf was mushy with little flavor and an odd purple sauce at $16. Corn dog kids meal was one corn dog and fries for $9. No choices for vegetables and a very limited menu. Overall, pleasant time with friends... but definitely won't be heading back to this place any time soon for dinner. Wanted to give this place a try since its reinvention. I ordered the cream of crab soup and a single crab cake without French fries. I requested extra tomatoes in place of the fries. The soup arrived and it was cold. The server took it back to the kitchen. When she brought it back, it was only lukewarm, at best. She brought it back to the kitchen again. When it arrived to my table it was finally hot. There was less than a 1/2 tsp of crab in the soup. I am not kidding. When my crab cake arrived, there were fries on the plate and 2 slices of tomato. Someone else brought the entrée to the table. I explained that I didn't want the fries but extra tomato. The response that I got was that the plate usually comes with 1 slice of tomato. She did not offer to bring me a couple of extra slices. I had to ask for a side plate to push the fries off my plate. The crab cake was a bit small for $18. I don't think that I will return not when there is a better alternative down the road in Parkton. All in all, it was very disappointing. read more

had a great dinner the first time my son took me there but sorry we went back for a late lunch or early dinner. had to settle for lunch menu. we all ordered the " rib eye" steak . when it came 2 of the 3 were lukewarm and fries were cold. the" steak" was so thin it should have been on a sandwich and was full of gristle and fat. not much choice if you didn't want the fries it came with so I opted for a house salad which would have been ok if they had some Italian dressing and I chose a vinaigrette that was way too sweet. the whole thing was terribly overpriced and the food was not good.3 customers that won't be back read more
