Out of curiosity, I did take a taste of the unpleasant looking cup of soup...it tasted as awful as it looked...flour and milk. I never saw a spoonful of soup sit so high on a spoon without spilling over. The crab topped pretzel was a fat pretzel with little crab dip on it...so dry. We ate a crab quesadilla, but it was lackluster. The paper plates, plastic forks and cups topped off our unpleasant experience. The server was lovely. Over time, they dropped the "lic house" and just called them pubs. Because you never dropped the "lic house" makes me think that you haven't evolved like you should have. And frankly, your food is proof. In fact, it even made me nostalgic. But not in the way you might think. You see, I loved making fun food concoctions when I was a kid. My sister and I would watch this corny show called "Zoom" on Maryland public television, where the kid hosts would make recipes sent in from all over the country. We'd make homemade peanut butter cups using Jif and semisweet chocolate chips. Or weird sandwich combinations like pickles and potato chips and cheese and jelly. The seafood egg rolls weren't the worst part of my meal, but they were definitely sophomoric--as if a kid chef-in-training was asked to whip something up from Chinese food leftovers. Seafood should never taste fishy, yet these did. One bite hit me like something that had been sitting a little too long above the waterline. Not to mention, they were laying on a greasy glob of some mayonnaise accompaniment disguised as a fancy garnish you'd see on MasterChef. One word: Ick. The ahi tacos. Oh boy. My mind fills with seawater the moment I think of them because they tasted as if they had been fished right out of the ocean and then placed on my plate. They were wet. Soaked. Drenched. The gelatinous seaweed clump on each taco wasn't culinary-forward, just unappetizing. I took one bite and wished I could spit it back out, but I reluctantly swallowed it. My esophagus is now aquaphobic thanks to you. The moment the coconut jasmine rice hit my mouth, my tastebuds took the red eye to the coconut tree haven of the Maldives. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rice and coconut had no cohesion. It tasted like my younger self dumping a handful of shredded coconut--the sweetened kind my mom kept in the pantry for the wool on her Easter-shaped lamb cake--into a cup of microwaveable rice. The only redeeming aspect of our meal was your kind, charismatic waiter. He was lovely in every way--attentive, sweet, and helpful. He would have been an incredible host on "Zoom." If only his personality made the food taste better. For your sake, I hope you learn to evolve your kitchen's offerings beyond the amateurish trio I experienced. If not, your restaurant's bones may end up fossilized alongside every other place that couldn't adapt.

Upon our arrival we had the displeasure of hearing a 40 year old "chef" I believe his name was Ed scream and yell at the wait staff until he bullied them into tears threatening to fire them so after our server was bullied into crying she greeted us very polite and friendly under circumstances she took our order then we choked down a terrible way over priced meal I had the pot roast it was dry and tasteless my wife had the meatloaf which was mushy and cold . My advice to the owners is instead of having "Ed" bully young girls maybe have him focus on cooking the experience was terrible and shocking that anyone who owns a business would let their employees be treated like that the owners are clearly absent in what occurs in their business and clearly have no care for their employees basically the inmates run the prison and it's completely disgusting I will never return and make sure everyone I know doesn't waste money on such a terrible place read more

Absolutely superb! This is the third time we have eaten here since it reopened. The food is fresh, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious every time. Tried the New Year's Eve 5 course plate this time for 6 people, out of this world. It is so refreshing to find high quality food so close to home. Gordon Ramsay would probably approve! The only minor complaint I could have would be that, with the regular menu, the dishes come slightly too fast, not enough time to enjoy each one on it's own. WOW!!! What a great job. The new owners of this location have really created something special here. The renovations have really turned this into what Parkton needs. Family friendly, upscale, amazing food. I had the pot roast with a red wine demi glaze. It made my taste buds do a little dance. Not a huge beer selection, but a good one. Overall I am very impressed. They haven't been open for very long so there are obviously some winkles that need to be ironed out. I will definitely be back and I am excited to see what the future holds for this place. read more

Wasn't sure what to make of Stonebridge Grille because of the former Maryland Line Inn's less than sterling reputation... but I was blown away by what the new ownership has done with the place! The bar and dining room look amazing and all of the food we tried was delicious. Our server was incredibly friendly and we noticed one of the owners walking around from table to table, asking customers about their experience. To top it off, they had a great band playing! Definitely a must try new place, we will definitely be back! read more
