Some anniversary! I went here a couple of months ago and it was great. Tonight, however, it sucked in a huge way. Fithe food was cold. I mean, the tri-tip was not room temperature, but downright cold. I had it sent back to warm it up and it came back the same temperature. The place was also freezing! My nose was literally runny because of the cold. Everyone around us was bundled up in jackets, too. The only redeeming quality of the meal was the brownie, which was badass, like a flourless chocolate torte. Very rich. No one checked on us except to take our plates away and get us to leave. This was the most ridiculously stupid dining experience ever. Save your time and money. Wood Ranch might be pricey, but it's not as cold and the food is served hot. Stone Cold Grill, I say! Went back a second time. Sat closer to the kitchen, thinking everything would be warmer since it didn't have far to travel. But no, still not hot. Which is a bummer, because the prices are great, and the brownie? To die for. I really wanted to like this place! read more

I been here twice since they opened and once in a other location. The food was really good and the mash potatoes where amazing and the carrot cake was to die for. It is little pricey but it's way worth it. Service was amazing maybe to good because we had Servers coming to our table every 3 minutes, but I'm not taking any stars off because good service is hard to get nowadays. Will be back for sure read more

I came in here tonight for the first time. I've eaten Stonefire a few times, and the food is always great. This was the first time I'd dined in. I ordered the regular sized tri-trip with mashed potatoes & my boyfriend ordered a steak sandwich. When I ordered my food, the young woman repeated the order back to us and said I ordered a petite tri-tip. It's a difference of a few ounces and I didn't really feel like correcting her so I said yes. She also brought out our food to us and the tri-tip was kinda small but I agreed to what she said and wasn't going to send it back, wasn't a big deal. Halfway into our meal (which was delicious by the way :) ), she came back with another tri-tip and said to me that she had just remembered I ordered a regular tri-trip and she had made a mistake and repeated back the wrong size to me. I told her it was no problem at all, and she placed a brand new regular sized tri-tip on the table for me on top of the petite tri-tip I had already scarfed down. The food was awesome but what really drove me to write this review was the excellent service on behalf of the staff at Stonefire, especially that of Christina H, who went out of her way to correct my order. I would've never mentioned it because it was such a small detail, but she really made such a nice impression by making sure I got a 5 star experience during my meal. :) thanks so much Christina!!! 5 star for the food and the service. They can get pretty busy but there is plenty of seating, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Ariana and Kevin did a great job of accommodating us when our order was delayed. Plus the cheesecake is to die for! read more

The food is passable but the portions are small. My wife had the salmon and found it was too small of a portion. She did enjoy the taste. I had a combination meat plater of tri-tip and ribs. Both of our meals were advertised as including bread sticks. We never received those. My daughter ordered the kids pizza which was not delivered. The waitress acknowledged the pizza was missing, but did not bring it. After a considerable wait, I went to the front desk and again requested the missing food. Still nothing. I reminded the waitress and still no pizza. Finally, I found the manager and complained about the missing pizza and generally poor service and lack of concern for completing our order. The manager "located" our pizza by having one made. We never did get the bread sticks. Overall, I would probably not visit this restaurant. Woodranch is a much better choice with proper table service. read more

What just happened? Stonefire Grill as only "Grill" in the name but surely NOT in the kitchen. Just had lunch there and what an unpleasant experience it was. Do you guys boil your ribs and then just add BBQ sauce? Or why aren't you seasoning your meat? Are you afraid to add flavors to the dish? When we got to the restaurant it was sooo packed the line was out the door and I was tempted to leave because I thought it would take forever. To my surprise we waited about 15 minutes tops and some staff were in line taking names and answering questions we may have had. You wouldn't think it was opening weekend with how smooth the workers made everything. Not to mention Jason(one of the managers who was soooo cute btw) came by and checked on everything and because they had run out of blueberries for the cheesecake he gave us some free carrot cake to try. 10/10 would recommend read more

Great tasting food and the price isn't bad. If you want to eat on the cheap split a meal! You get just enough food for two for under $20.00. Lunch was busy but I was still able to get in and out on my lunch hour. Friendly staff is always a plus!! I'll definitely be back. read more

Foods not too bad,but good luck getting to it. It's in the Gateway Plaza and the mall layout creates a traffic jam to get into the mall, move around in and worst when you want to leave it. We ate and then couldn't get out of the dang parking lot! We would not go again based soley on its horrible location choice. Whoever thought of this location really dropped the ball. You actually would have more business if you were not in that location! Johnson drive has parking and could use a business that actually has a large following to revitalize it. This is hands down my new favorite restaurant in town !! We were greeted at the door by friendly staff , ordered and sat wherever we wanted . Our food was ready within 15 mins , and let me tell you the food is out of this world !!! For the price and the amount they give you and the taste it is truly my favorite , just on our first visit !! I ordered the BBQ Tri-Tip and Rib combo with the cowboy beans I believe that's what they're called and a side of breadsticks. OMG, everything was delicious. First time visiting the new location yesterday, we both ordered the bbq chop salad which was delicious ! The reason for three stars .... the server that brought out our food was friendly until I asked for a few things like bbq sauce and cheese ,instead of informing me it was self serve by the drinks (which I would have gladly helped myself) she responded with a large eye roll. Right after that another employee loudly exclaimed he was putting in his two weeks while he was bussing a table next to us. This place was great! Took the kids out for an Early dinner. Hubby got the full rack of ribs and cole slaw( honestly could of fed all 6 of us on that meal alone) I got the tri tip chopped salad (a small is about 3 days worth of salad!) kids all got kids cheese pizzas. Food was amazing and the service was above and beyond, they anticipated the customers needs and met it 100% great spot can't wait to come back again! read more

Casual environment and good for familys because it's loud inside. Service was fine and our food was out very fast! I think it was average quality wise but it was tasty and fit the price. We went after opening weekend and it was pretty packed but there is lots of seating options. I think it will do well here. read more
