I rent my uhaul trucks from Brentwood Self Storage on a regular basis for my business, and they have the best customer service! Kim, the manager, and Nichole are always so helpful, friendly, and efficient. Actually everybody I have encountered at this location has been great. They are always so thorough in going over your contract and checking over the truck with you to confirm mileage, damage, etc.. Not all locations do this. They are top notch professionals and you get free popcorn :) Just another bonus when you rent there. read more

I park in lot where the uhual trucks are and before I can even close the door after getting out, I'm greeted by the owner (old bitter guy) with a verbal barrage of profanity, and "you ignorant people", etc. At first I thought he had me confused with someone else but no, he was yelling and ranting at me because I had apparently parked in the lot in the back where he was parking the trucks. I've never experienced such verbal abuse from a service company! He said I should take my business else where and I did. I told the front desk ladies and they were not much better. This is the worst place to deal with. They sell you cheap boxes for double to triple what you pay for uhaul boxes. When you try to return there low quality crap. They say all sales final. They have no faith in what they sell that's why they won't take it back. read more

My family was moving from the townhouses across the street, so we decided to use this place obviously because it was convenient. We rented a Haul truck and when it was returned my mom parked the truck inside the parking lot. She did not see the sign that said that the Haul trucks cannot be parked in the storage parking space because they'll be towed. I take it that this is a city ordinance, I guess. However, at 6:30 in the morning the owners called (wife) telling my mom that she needs to hurry up and move the truck or else if it's towed she'd be charged the towing fee. Fine!!!! We understand. While my mom was speaking to one of the owners she overheard in the background her husband cussing about the situation. When my mom arrived the husband was cussing at my mom (i was not there at the time). One thing he said was "you messed up my goddamn day". When my mother tells me about the situation over the phone, at this time I was pissed. I went back to the store when they opened at 10 AM. to get our rental balance back with my mother and to find out what happened and to see how to resolve this issue. The wife tried to blow it off as if nothing happened. By this time the husband came to where we were and I asked him what happened. He become very hostile, and I mean very hostile. He said that my mom was disrespecting him by parking in the parking lot. Again, she didn't know that she could not park there. To make a long story short... As he walked away from us to check the mileage on the truck he said that he is not saying sorry for what he had said earlier that morning. Don't waste your time with this privately owned business. There are many other self storage's and rental places within the area that deserves your hard earned cash. I would give them zero stars if i could. read more

I have called this place twice. The first time they finally called back after 3 days, I had already founf another place by then. The second time a year later, no return call yet after 2 days. Pretty crazy. If it's this hard to get hold of them to spend money, I can only imagine what it would be like if you needed something. read more

I would give 100 stars if I could. Look no further. This place is the best in town hands down for a storage facility with exceptional customer service. I had a 10x15 unit for 3 years up until a week ago. This place was always immaculate. I never saw one bug, etc. Ken and Kim always treat you as if your special vip. Their readiness to go above and beyond to satisfy their customers, to make things right, to ensure things run fluid for you is top notch. These guys are the epitome of professional service. I just can't express that enough. The staff is always friendly because they really care about their customers. I experienced this change in management and staff 2 years ago and I can't say any of this about the previous staff. On my move out I ran into a couple problems with the uhaul I had reserved a few weeks before, for one, the reservation had been mysteriously been cancelled, even though I had verified the reservation with Kim just a few days before. Ken and Kim worked quickly as a team getting on the phone with uhaul and computer correcting the issue as I had a group of people waiting to help me move. And they took that into consideration. I have rented uhaul trucks from this location with this staff a few times and have never experienced any issues so this was a total fluke. I reserved a 17ft truck but due to some vandalism to the tire the truck was not available, they put me in a 20ft for the same price. Then the tire in the 20ft was losing air on premises from what was also vandalism done to that tire as well. They expedited a tire repair tech out from uhaul who was just as friendly and professional who changed the tire while we loaded the truck. Ken and Kim make things run flawlessly. Situations that could have been a big stress or headache on me, they corrected as if it had never existed. I was able to complete my move out and had no further issues. I highly recommend this facility for all your storage, uhaul and moving needs. They are hands down the best in town. Although, I am glad to finally have my own home and be out of a storage unit....I will miss this crew. Ken and Kim take care of you when you are their customer. I will miss them and that courtesy. Reason why I will be stopping by every once in a while just to talk and say hi to them. Thank you Ken, Kim and staff!!! 0 stars not possible with YELP. This is a review of the UHAUL segment of the business, but I can't imagine the "service" received as a unit renter would be any different. The fact that they dont even bother to turn their office lights on was the first warning sign. The manager Barbara was short and rude with me, and she was the best part of the experience. The live-in car prep literally screamed at my buddy and I because according to him, we pulled in wrong. He was vulgar, swore, and wouldnt let me leave until I demonstrated my ability to disable the tow/haul function and reiterated his parking lot rules. Not that I could, he blocks the exit with another truck. Upon return, after my walk around the complex (did I mention that???) I was told that my fuel and mileage notation weren't enough; I had to wait for the carney, I mean car prep to walk to the office, get the key, walk back, and call in the mileage and fuel. I had my pregnant wife waiting in the lot, so we shall see what my bill is when they email it to me. I will never rent here again, nor will I consider them for any future self storage needs. read more
