I get here and the tech calls me to tell me she never got notified about the appointment and that it's okay because I would get my money back. Are they going to pay for the hours I took off? Very misleading on the teeth whitening. Don't ever use this service here. The lady was nice but not helpful at all. There is a reason why it's on "Groupon" with fake models but no before or after photos from real customers. I did request photo reviews on the phone the day before scheduling never received them. It's basically a one two gel on a plastic mouth guard with a huge LED lighting .... You HAVE to hold onto it manually ... 10 minutes hold then take a 5 sec break then hold it for another 10min then switch up the mouth guard for another 20min ... truly pathetic service. No results at all.... I showed her the before and after pictures and all the lady can say was "Well ugh.... Some teeth are different blah blah blah..." When I acknowledged the first half of the teeth whitening being mis leading and never heard of someone holding onto a LED lighting for 40minutes which gets quite exhausting ... "Well we're not a professional dental place we're just a little spa.." Again all misleading... I was even considering a facial but I do not trust it all. I'm giving this a three because the woman giving me the facial was nice. I arrived 15 minutes early , and was there before my Esthitician arrived. She walked into the door and went into the treatment room to get ready. As I am sitting in the waiting room, music is loud and the rest of the place is a hair salon. I then go into the room. At first, charming, soft lighting, birds chirping music, and I still hear the music and blow dryer from the other room. I went for the hydrafacial. When she started to do the facial, she turned up the Lights ( very bright) and then the machine stopped working. The owner had to come in and fix it. I then asked if she could do my neck? She said that was extra. It's an expensive treatment and you would think the neck and chest would be Included. Light was very bright and then I asked if she could dim them. The machine started to work and I could hear the loud music and hairdryer working again. It was not a relaxing experience, and not a spa like experience. The esthetician was really nice, but I would not go back. I have also had 2 hydrafacials in my past, and was never left with round red dark circles around my face. It even had discomfort in the beginning. She didn't put a headband on my head to do a facial. Anyways, not going back and I suggest if you pay 185 ( discounted ) and a 20 dollar tip... Let me start off by saying that I am not a salon girl. In my adult life, I can count the number of haircuts I have had in one hand. My fear has always been, someone not listening to what I want and me being disappointed after. Also, I always had long hair and wanted to keep it that way. She asked me questions, analyzed my face, neck and shoulders, really took her time to listen and envision what i wanted and made suggestions of her own. I am beyond happy with my hair. I bought a Groupon for facial and called this business and made an appt for today for 11 am, I drove 20 mins to get there and knocked on the door, nobody answered, called them 3 times went to voicemail, I left them voice msg that I m here! A lady called me at 11.15 when I was on my way home and said unfortunately our employee is really sick and we have to reschadule your appt!!! I said are you kidding me?!!! I was really excited to find a new spot to get facials however the results of my facial were less than optimal. I went in asking for an acne facial and I was convinced to get a hydrafacial with a pumpkin peel and LED light treatment. I had voiced concerns about peels and she assured me that this was NOT an intense peel and would not make my face peel. She said to see how my skin felt in a couple days to determine what to do at our next visit. Sadly, my skin was raw and peeled like crazy for several days. My chin also broke out really badly because I was applying moisturizes to combat the hard core peeling. It was gross and painful and NOT what I expected at all. I will NOT be returning for a follow up treatment. Positives: She was nice and I think she believe she was doing what I needed, but just did not make good choices or understand my skin and what I needed. read more

I made an appointment for Jan 5th on Jan 1st. When I checked my Groupon app on Jan 4th evening, I noticed my Groupon was marked as "Redeemed" on Jan 3rd. This was strange, because nobody contacted me, nor had I been to the spa yet. I got concerned, since this has never happened before, and I thought that if it was redeemed by accident, they would at least have the courtesy to let me know. Because I did not want to drive ~45min to just be turned away, I ended up calling the spa in the morning before my appointment, and I was told it was, in fact, redeemed by accident, but I am good to go and should come in. My appointment was at 10.30am, and I arrived in the parking lot just before 10.20am, got out of the car, and headed to the building. I tried the door and...it was locked. I called the number on the door twice, and nobody answered. So I stood around outside for another 5 minutes before trying the door again. The door was still locked, but I could see an outline of movement inside, and then a woman opened the door and let me inside. Her first words to me were, "I was just about to call you..." So I replied with "Oh...I was waiting outside, since the door was locked and nobody was answering the phone..." So she went off to tell me that they only take appointments on Sundays, and usually nobody is there and on and on (things I could NOT have known, since their website has plenty of slots available on Sundays), essentially making me feel like I was somehow supposed to know all this. It just felt odd. She still hadn't said hello or introduced herself, but I figured - ok, I drove 45 min to get here, I am taking time out of my day, so I might as well just get it over with. I was led into a room in the back that had the typical spa table, a sink, some equipment, and lots of skincare stuff. She gave me time to use the restroom, change into the top robe thing, and lay down on the table, then walked in and finally introduced herself. Her name was Uzma. She asked me about my skin concerns, which I told her (my skin is fairly decent, or so I have been told in the past, and my biggest concerns were pore congestion, blackheads, and oiliness). She took a look at my skin, and told me that she also recommends another add on treatment today, and while it normally costs $90, since I am "already here," she will do it for $45. It felt quite pressured and as a typical upsell, as I was expected to make a quick decision there and then, without looking into the treatment, or anything. I declined, asking her for hydrafacial only at this time. Now, to the hydrafacial itself. If you are expecting the typical hydrafacial where your skin is exfoliated, hydrated, and infused with antioxidants and peptides via the hydrafacial machine, you will be disappointed like I was (I should have verified that they are listed on the providers list on hydrafacial website, so this is on me). This, as I saw after the appointment, is not the typical hydrafacial machine with all the bells and whistles. There was water and suction, but there was no infusion of anything, and afterwards, she put on a face mask, vitamin C, retinol, and hyaluronic acid serum (Advanced Clinicals brand). What irked me the most is that she kept referring to them as "clinical grade." While this is just a buzzword to make it sound fancy - don't be fooled. These are serums you can get inexpensively on Amazon, or the brand's website (think: under $15/1.75oz). The remainder of the things she put on my face, I have no idea what they are - I took photos of the setup and the bottles/jars after the appointment and they were mostly unbranded, with handwritten things on them, such as "tea tree cleanser." I honestly wish I had taken a look at the equipment/products before I laid down and closed my eyes, because I honestly can't say if any of them are good or expired OR what they are to begin with. It all seemed dirty, as well, so when the appointment was finished, I just felt gross. I do have to say that my face looked shiny and plump after we were done. I thought "ok, maybe I am wrong, and this is actually amazing." By the time I got home (~45 minutes), the glow and plumpness was gone, and looked in the mirror to see that my pores were still just as congested as they had been before I left, my blackheads were still where I had left them that morning, and at this point I felt deflated. In conclusion: if you are looking for a hydrafacial as you have seen advertised, THIS IS NOT IT. It may be priced like a hydrafacial you are thinking of, but it's far from it. Was it a decent facial? Kind of. I enjoyed the face massage. But to be honest, a run of the mill facial with extractions would have been better. I can't say if this is the same for all the providers at this spa, but this was my experience with Uzma. The takeaway from me is: always check the hydrafacial website for verified providers. read more

No one ever answers the telephone or returns messages - instead a chat bot texts you with prompts to make an appointment. This would have been fine except for the fact that chatbot does recognize email addresses (gmail). As a result the chatbot will NOT confirm appointments. Got the Groupon and finally cashed it in on a massage. Had a fabulous deep tissue with Sheryl. She is amazing, strong, controlled and experienced. Will return for sure! On my way out to pay, I chatted with Amy about the possibility of someone in the salon being able to deal with curly hair. She had me sit in her chair, took a look, said she's fix me up right then, and I had a great cut! No pressure for color or product! She really took her time with my curls and I am super happy. She even said once my hair dried and I was able to see it more clearly, I could return if I wasn't happy with it and she'd fix whatever needed fixing. This is HUGE for a curly customer! I won a haircut and style at a charity event a few month's back and finally decided to go in for a haircut. My raffle was with Christina who is apparantly a junior stylist. One thing I hate about some salons is the Junior to Senior stylist pricing ladder. My stylist was between $65-$80 for a shampoo, haircut and style. My certificate was for $65, so I'm not sure what more they do for the $80. Anyhow, the salon itself is very nice and quite cozy. They offer others services too aside from the hair styling. Christina was focused and didn't chat much. I thought she did a great job on my hair, although some people who I saw after didn't notice a huge difference. (not what I was hoping for) Not 100% sure I'd go back again and drop 75 bucks or so for a haircut. My regular girl charges about $35-40 and has been doing hair at big and small salons for over 15 years and does a great job. Overall, it was a nice experience, just not sure I would drop that much money for a haircut. Another nice thing to note: I was given a few coupons for 25% off a future coloring which includes cut and style. Might try that some time down the road, but kind of up in the air about shelling out a lot of money for this place. I bought 6 section microdermabrasion LED through Groupon. Only my very first service was nice and pleasant with Aura (she quits). My second service and third all went downhill and humiliating. I cancel and discontinue my services. It was an insulted and felt violated by Nicolette, Gia and their manager Melissa. Their behaviors such as "rushed to the room checked upon on me, even though I entitled to have totally 90 minutes under Groupon description" As they thought I probably a stealer. In fact that I did set my alarm for 90 minutes soon I stepped into Strada facility. Second, I searched for cash money to give Gia tips for the service ($25) Yet, they judge and treated me by colors. Remember! However you treat people, it represents you and management of the facility. However I responded to your behaviors, it represents me. I don't pay you to go get humiliated, insulted or harassed. Hates and discriminate won't get you further. The only credit I gave Gia is that my skin tone improved but sadly you can't be grounded and more professional. Horrible experience. read more

Came for a facial with Kristina and loved her! She had her technique down and I was relaxed the whole way though. I got a signature facial, added hydroextrusion and LED light treatment. The hydroextrusion machine wasn't working very well so she waived that charge for me, which was very honest of her, because I had no idea. Overall experience was very pleasant. Kaleos Kreations at Strada Salon was an absolutely wonderful experience. I bought a Groupon for a haircut/conditioning treatment and color retouch and was not disappointed. I had an idea for what I wanted to do, but Kaleo walked me through what he thought would be best for my hair, and I very much appreciated and agreed with his expert opinion. His cut accentuated the color I already had on my hair, so I didn't have to pay extra or put my hair through more bleaching. He was professional but warm and welcoming, and he worked fast! I was very happy with my end result. Strada Salon is a relaxing environment with soothing music, little touches like biscotti and espresso, and the process for redeeming my Groupon was incredibly easy. Obsessed with my silver/gray/purple ombré. Shaleen was not only amazing and kind, she was very entertaining through the process of getting this color. I'm on vacation visiting the Bay Area from New York. I didn't know what hair repair was until I met Kaleo. LOVE HIM. Gotta have the gay guy doing your hair! I came in uncertain in what to do with my hair color but I knew I needed a trim/cut. My ends were so so dead. The color was a hot mess!!! It was a brassy color. He gave me a trim/cut toned to a nice ash color and did process with a miracle conditioning treatment. It was really dry, coarse and damaged. My hair is soooooo much healthier and strong. This is the first place that I've been to for a haircut since I've moved to the area. I have to note that I showed up as an after-hours appointment, so I can't speak to what is normally available during regular hours. TL;DR: Decent amenities, wonderful ambiance, and fantastic haircut. Interior: Wow! This place is beautiful on the inside! You feel like you're in a nice garden with water flowing but still have the comforts of a nice living room space. The ambiance made me very relaxed and comfortable. Amenities: I was offered water and coffee, which is pretty standard. There was a comfortable place to sit while I waited for my appointment time. Haircut: I was very impressed with my haircut. The last place that I liked my haircut was a great barber shop in Manhattan and Evelia made me feel like I was back in that chair getting a great cut. She was friendly, outgoing, and very professional. We had a good conversation and I enjoyed my time there. Final thoughts: They offer massages and such, so as I guy I can't speak to what else they have because I just wasn't sure what those other things meant and what they would do for me. Came to this salon and had my hair colored by Shaleen! She is super energetic and funny, makes the time go back faster. First time I came, I had washed out blue hair that turned green and I wanted my hair to be grey. We tried for FOUR hours but my hair was being stubborn. I wasn't too bothered by the end result, though. Then a week later, Shaleen calls back saying that she's been thinking of my hair and wants to give me the EXACT color I wanted! Wow, talk about great customer service. So we booked a free follow up appointment and now I have the grey I want!!! I felt really relaxed and at ease as she explained what she was doing and what to expect as she put on the false lashes. Service, as always, is superb! Today I had color with Jennifer. The service hub looks out onto a charming little patio with details the owner does so well. My hair looks so fresh and healthy; a great color job really boosts the spirit! I felt relaxed and unrushed, as one should in a spa atmosphere.
