Add in the incredible views of the Columbia River, and it's easily one of the coolest places in Astoria to relax and enjoy a drink. The cocktails are creative, beautifully crafted, and absolutely delicious. Their clam chowder is fantastic too. Thick, hearty, and loaded with meat, with a great consistency and a rich, classic chowder flavor. There was also a subtle hint of fennel that gave it something a little different without overpowering the traditional taste. After doing a chowder crawl and trying 10 different restaurants around Astoria, I would confidently put Inferno Lounge in second place, just behind Portway Tavern. Between the amazing river views, fun atmosphere, inventive drinks, and outstanding chowder, Inferno Lounge is definitely a place worth visiting!

The Knot provided the perfect combination of both. The food was excellent! In particular, we absolutely loved the pickled rockfish, salmon chowder, salted chocolate caramel custard and house-made citrus NA ginger ale. We happily enjoyed our meal while watching ships, seals, birds and ocean life. The server told us about the ships and even a podcast report to learn more about passing vessel traffic. It simply made me want to return for a longer and slower visit! Maybe to sit by the fire pit out front while watching life go by. A bonus was a (free) EV hook up adjacent to the property.

We got our bread and basically finished it before we got our drinks. The bartender was new and she was looking at physical recipes to make each of our drinks. Im glad we weren't in a hurry. The view is outstanding and you can sit outside in the nice weather which we had that day because the inside is very small. We even saw a sea lion swimming off the pier as we enjoyed our drinks. A little pricey for what you get but overall still good but not somewhere I would return to with all the other options in the area.

My friend and I shared the Pesto Pizza, as well as the chicken and waffles and they were both amazing. Beyond the rolling fog of the Pacific and tucked within the historic charm of Astoria, lies a sanctuary of pure and unadulterated (maybe a little bit of adulterated) perfection. It is called Xanadu, and it is quite possibly the most beautiful display of queer community I have seen in years. I have traveled across the nation and spent time in countless queer spaces from coast to coast, yet Xanadu stands in a league of its own. Imagine a world where the staff and the patrons exist in a state of authentic joy. There is no drama in sight. There are no pretenses. It is a place where people gather for the simple pleasure of a shared laugh and genuine connection. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, but it is the people who truly make it shine. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels like they belong to something meaningful. And then, there is the pizza. It is genuinely quick, thicc and fantastic! It provides the perfect fuel for an evening of celebration. In a world that often feels fractured, Xanadu offers a beautiful symphony of community and warmth. It has earned a permanent place in my heart and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone seeking a slice of heaven on the coast. If you find yourself in Astoria, do not pass this door by. You might just find the secret to happiness hidden right inside. Special shoutout to Josh and Brandon!!!

Terra welcomed both me and my husband with kindness and provided us with impeccable service. Couldn't have been more pleased, thank you! True props to the chef and crew!!! From start to finish (appetizer-entry-desert) had so much flavor that each and every bite was an explosion of perfectly seasoned and melded flavors. We had the crab cheese dip, house bread and prosciutto wrapped asparagus for our appetizers, my husband had the Ribeye steak and I had the King Salmon. His large steak was cooked to perfection and the flavors involved in the King Salmon concoction left my tastebuds in awe - seriously BRAVO! With no room left in our bellies we of course ordered the strawberry-rhubarb cobbler and pear margarita sorbet. Both were absolutely to die for. With 24 years of military service, much of it abroad, I've had my fair share of both and I'd put both of these at the very top. I'm a foodie and love the joys food can bring to so many regardless of background or origins. You brought unexpected joy to my life this weekend and for that I'm taking the time to write this review and to say thank you. Can't wait for our next visit to Astoria and to Bridgewater Bistro. We were seated at a window table, which was great. We ordered a couple drinks and a couple appetizers. The crab dip and calamari were amazing. Probably the best crab dip I've ever had. For main courses, I ordered the seared scallops and added prawns to the dish as well as a side of their chowder. So good. Melt in your mouth scallops. The chowder was some of the best I've had. My wife ordered pasta Alfredo with shrimp. She said it was amazing as well. And my daughter ordered the Boullabaisse. I've never heard of it but it's a seafood bowl that is delicious and has many seafoods inside.. almost like a soup. She loved it. Dessert was a chocolate torte and a cheesecake slice. Again, amazing. This is a must go to restaurant if you want upscale in Astoria, Oregon. It is well worth the price. And you cannot beat the atmosphere and service. It is exceptional.
