For main courses, I ordered the seared scallops and added prawns to the dish as well as a side of their chowder. So good. Melt in your mouth scallops. The chowder was some of the best I've had. My wife ordered pasta Alfredo with shrimp. She said it was amazing as well. And my daughter ordered the Boullabaisse. I've never heard of it but it's a seafood bowl that is delicious and has many seafoods inside.. almost like a soup. She loved it. Dessert was a chocolate torte and a cheesecake slice. Again, amazing. The space is small, with four seats at the bar, two floating seats, and two standing only spots. It's an intimate space with lots of Japanese figurines and memorabilia. Behind the bar sits a small TV where the bartender plays physical media (can you believe it!?) -- DVDs and Blue Rays of Japanese films. This is probably our favorite thing we've done in Astoria! After I was done with all of that, I couldn't get the app to work on any of the games and I'm pretty good with technology. I couldn't find the bartender anywhere to ask her for assistance. So we had a beer, but I never got to play any games which I wanted to. Update. The owner response was very quick and I appreciate that in all businesses.
