I really wanted to like this place. I love local food spots and after walking in and seeing the interior, I was very hopeful. The staff were so friendly and greeted me warmly. But as people trickled in, it began to fall apart. I was seated without a menu so I had to wait for the waitress to remember it is hard to order from a place if you have no idea what they have. Although, after reviewing the menu, I ordered the same thing I normally get wherever I eat breakfast... ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast. When it finally arrived 25 minutes later, the eggs were hot, but the hash browns were cold. The iced tea I was given was in a cute mason jar, but she never came back to ask if I needed a refill until I had eaten all my food and was ready for the check. In a nutshell, it is fine. Very good service, excellent coffee. I had huevos rancheros which were good, not great (salsa and guacamole were tasty, fried tortillas were really good, eggs were done as ordered / let down was the side of rice which was basic white rice with some veggies) and my wife had the daily special -lingonberry crepes which she loved. This looks like it was an IHOP in a former incarnation, and it's still a breakfast/lunch restaurant. My companion had a soup/sandwich combo and I had a chilaquiles skillet. The cup of soup was miniscule (like a teacup) but my companion enjoyed it and the half tuna sandwich. My chilaquiles skillet had a nicely spicy tomatillo sauce and chicken and the chips were freshly fried. It was pretty good but would have been excellent with some avocado and maybe chopped onions and tomatoes. Service was ok, could have been a little more attentive. I have been here many times in the past. It was always good. This time, it was awful! We came in and sat down, waited quite a while for water and then waited for a waiter to take our order. My friend order huevos rancheros, which were unseasoned and had no flavor. I ordered a Greek chicken wrap, no seasoning. The waiter never asked me what I wanted on the side with my sandwich and they brought soup which looked really disgusting. Very dirty looking. I wanted the fries which they brought. Can't believe how big each breakfast meal is. I had the veggie omelette with added sausage, hash brown, and upgraded strawberry pancakes. Just yummy! My friend had corn beef meal, and corn beef looks so delicious. Service was great, they were patient, did not kick up out (we were there between 10am-2:30pm). We thought we'll try this place again! We're here for brunch on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy at all! Service is ok and I ordered the Fiesta Chicken Panini (loaded with roasted red peppers, avocado, pepperjack and spicy Ranch Dressing) it came with a choice of fries or chips, I picked fries and it was delicious! The fries were good too! My husband had the Gyros sandwich and it was top with red onions, these were on top of a pita bread! Alongside was the Tzatziki sauce and he had fries too! Stopped at this small diner type restaurant for a mid week catch up brunch with a friend! He highly recommended this place, but I found it lacking. The food was really greasy & the pancakes actually gave me stomach issues all day. Service was nice enough, and it seems like a local type place. It just isn't that good. The feta is apparently imported from Greece & that was the highlight of the skillet. The actual interior is a typical diner- nothing special. I'd say try it if you are in the area & want a local place. Maybe lunch would be better? read more

I try to support local business but I was very disappointed eating here. The quality of the food was not worth the price at all. Almost $18 for a small burger and a small portion of chips... Their "huevos rancheros" were nothing but eggs and a piece of tostada with beans and salsa smeared on top. The whole order took way longer than expected, including receiving my "Greek" coffee. We were visiting family and were looking for a place that served biscuits and gravy. They need to take this item off the menu. The gravy was made with sliced up link sausages and was full of flour lumps. The biscuits may have been frozen ones that were microwaved but we were unsure. It was unedible. Being welcomed by a cascading fountain in the entrance, you would think you are walking into a sushi restaurant. They have outdoor seating, but this visit it was closed due to bees in the area. We sat along a booth and we're attended to right away by the serving staff. This is a former Denny's that has been re-done as a higher-end cafe. It mostly succeeds. The food is good, but un-inspiring. The ingredients are obviously not same-day fresh, or prepared on site. The portions are a little smaller than other similar breakfast/brunch places. The service falls just short of a full-service restaurant, but isn't really bad. The Server was nice. Got a eggs Benedict with salmon, my girl friend got a eggs Benedict that she wanted over medium. That server came back and took them both back as they gave me a Benedict with ham. Her Eggs came back not cooked properly to safety as they were almost raw. Then someone from the back came back and criticized our sending back of the plates My plate came back with three hairs in my hash browns. One hair is a coincidence two hairs maybe another. Three hairs and they blatantly tried to mess with my food. We left the server rightly took my meal off the bill as we basically didn't eat anything. Not sure why this place only has three stars - it is very good! I came with my coworker for lunch and arrived just before the rush (around 11:30) and we were taken care of very well. Attentive server with a great attitude, good attention to coffee/water amounts without being overbearing, and in general made our visit better. I got the corned beef hash and eggs, with fruit, rye toast, and coffee. The menu says the hash is homemade, and it definitely was! I loved the unique take on the classic. Most places that do corned beef hash in-house have a more rustic variation, but this was similar to the normal canned/premade style, but with extra love and flavor. Eggs came out correctly and fruit was to be expected. Inside looks very nice and the atmosphere is fun and appropriate for brunch. Could be good for a date as well. My friend and I just had lunch there today. I ordered a caprese type panini and my friend ordered a French toast item. My sandwich was definitely not a panini and it was lukewarm. The mozzarella cheese was not even warm. I would have asked to have it redone, but we never saw her again. No one ever came back to refill coffee or ask about food.
