Everything about this place is wonderful. First of all, the decor is so cute. And.. what stuck out to me the most was how friendly everyone was - from the person who guided me to the elevators, the lovely hostesses that greeted me... the bartenders that I met while waiting for my table... everyone was just so nice and happy, which made the whole vibe feel so light and ufn. And then to top it all off, the food was amazing. We tried a bunch of apps (babaganoush is to die for), short rib was melt in your mouth delicious, and the shrimp skewers were ridiculous... The restaurant is actually quite nice, the food has slipped a little bit since opening but there is a nice menu and the ambience is good. For the most part the staff is very well trained and very friendly. I wish they would give a little more consistency with the food quality, as we have eaten here several times, and it is a little hit and miss - some of the signature dishes, such as the moon bread, came out stale and cold which was disappointing. One thing that certainly needs a major upgrade is the front of house staff. This is a restaurant, not a nightclub, and while certain gatekeepjng can be expected at any Miami fine dining establishment, it was completely unnecessary at strawberry moon. We were a well dressed group that came in to a empty restaurant at 9pm on a Tuesday. A very snooty front desk woman (girl) told us we would have to sit at the bar if we wanted to eat. Many (many) tables were open. Eventually after speaking to an assistant manager they put us at a table, but the front girl was really no help and actually quite offputting. She seemed annoyed to even be there. When the vibe is your main attraction, really more emphasis has to be placed on the experience from start to finish, I think strawberry moon can use some polishing, and some attention to the food quality. read more

The food is delicious, the Art Deco interior is fabulous - I give that 10/10. There's little cabana chairs in the terrace where you can eat in a little cocoon type of place - haven't tried those yet but it looks romantic and private for a date. Bathroom is great you can even buy stuff on machines, the lighting in the mirror is a 9/10. Cocktails were 8/10. Staff is nice specially the lady at the entrance downstairs I give her a 10/10. Hostess was not nice. I had a reservation and still had to wait a long time and requested outside which I did not get. Got the shakshuka which was a measly portion. Literally a thin spread of tomato sauce with a poached egg. Presentation was very poor. So small and not even great. Super expensive for the portion size and it took way too long for the food to come out. This was one of the most exceptional meals I have ever had. From the moment we walked into the hotel to head up to the restaurant we felt a warmth that continued throughout the evening. The decor was very fun and upbeat. It gave off such a great vibe and the staff exuded that same vibe and they could not have been more helpful. The hostess was so welcoming. The service was incredible and the food was delectable. Rohan was one of the most knowledgeable, helpful waiters I have ever encountered. Nick is one the best managers who knows how to train his staff extremely well. Rohan was so attentive and took the time to point out exactly what items we should choose on the menu. He really took an interest in making sure we enjoyed everything we were eating. He was so authentic and his enthusiasm was contagious. The MOON bread is a must and the Falafel was so crispy and delicious. Our drinks were delicious and so refreshing. Try the Purple Rein and the Classic Strawberry Moon. I will definitely be back and suggest anyone looking for a fantastic restaurant with great service not to miss Strawberry Moon. read more

Very nice decor, drinks were also good. However I was surprised at how basic the menu was. Also for Mediterranean cuisine I expected the taste to be good and fresh. However, each dish we ordered was very bland and lacked the flavor you would expect from Mediterranean cuisine. I'm not sure why the prices are also high considering the food is almost similar to a basic takeout spot. I would only recommend coming to strawberry moon for drinks and photos. Other than that the menu is overpriced and the restaurant is over hyped. I suppose they have a good marketing team pushing hard but maybe step up the flavor so guests won't feel like they can go somewhere else for better food and at a better price. read more

Our experience was the worst. First, we were quoted $1500 for a table and then when we met with the manager it was $2500+. The service was okay during the whole event. Our friends were trying to take a nap on the day bed that we had purchased and the workers came up to the table and said "make your friends drink water or else they will be kicked out". I'm a nurse and I'm very aware of how they are physically, and kept a close eye on them. They were breathing and perfectly fine, Just needed a nap which is part of the reason why we purchased a day bed. They were purposefully signaling them out when there were plenty of other people passed out on the day beds. Additionally, on top of this, when we were notified of last call, we still had $600 to spend. The waitress was notified that we wanted a bottle of wine to spend for our $600. When the waitress came back to our table she was harassing us about the fact that we weren't willing to give extra tip on top of the 18% gratuity and called us "fucking rude" and walked away. Additionally, alesso only performed for a total of less than 10 minutes and left, which added onto the stress that was already being brought up. They took the last $600 from us and didn't even offer to give it back in expense. Our group of friends have been to many other great experiences and this would never happen in any of those circumstances. I am very disappointed in the service and will not be returning or recommend to anyone we know. read more
