Absolutely exceeded our expectations. I made a reservation for 6 people. It was a little difficult finding out how to find it in the hotel as we weren't guests, but once we found it the host sat us right away. The ambiance was excellent and all the servers on the floor helped us out a lot. Our waters were never empty and they were always asking if we needed anything or were ready to order more. Great recommendations for food and drink from everyone serving us. We shared a lot of food and got some individual entrees. Unfortunately, we were too full to order dessert but I bet it was outstanding. I definitely recommend any and everyone to go to this restaurant if you want good food and a great experience. Strawberry Moon was such a delightful dining experience on Miami Beach. It was the perfect restaurant to go on a Wednesday evening for an overnight layover. I went to Strawberry Moon to meet one of my local Miami friends and everything from the visuals, ambiance, to the food was aesthetically pleasing. The entrance to Strawberry Moon can be a little confusing as you have to go to a hotel lobby to access an elevator to the restaurant. Thankfully there was a staff who walked me over to the elevator from outside during his break. When you ride the elevator up to Strawberry Moon, you are greeted by a stylishly pink velvet library, which definitely takes you away from the Miami Beach outdoors and into this pink velvet world. When you go into the restaurant, you enter in this beautiful teal lavish room with a beautiful bar. My friend and I went there on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't busy at all. We ordered a couple of dishes which we shared the Bianca Pizza, Babaganoush, Tzatziki, and Pink Sultan which transported you to the Mediterranean Ocean with an aromatic array of different Mediterranean dishes. All dishes tasted different yet delicious and we left Strawberry Moon with bellies & hearts full. Thank you so much Strawberry Moon! Rainy Tuesday afternoon in Miami we came to have a quick lunch at the pool area . You have to check in at the front desk let them know you are going to lunch . We didn't pay a cover fee and I would have been disappointed if I had too . I am pregnant so my taste buds are blah all over the place but I had the Greek salad with no onions and yummy with a virgin berry drink , hubby had the flatbread and margarita . 4 friends and I got tickets to come here on a Saturday, it was $40 per person which I don't think is too bad, except that when you get there the drinks are over $20 each, which can make the whole outing pretty pricey. I managed to find a 10:30pm reservation for two on a Saturday night just a few days before I went. I was concerned that such a late reservation would cause us to be rushed or the food wouldn't be as good etc, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We arrived around 9:50ish expecting to grab a drink at the bar until our table was ready, but after checking in we were able to be seated within 5 minutes. The waiter was extremely friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. The moon bread is a must, literally melts in your mouth. If you're a fan of falafel (like me) I highly recommend ordering this as an appetizer. Everything is family style. For dinner we ordered the NY Strip, Prawns (huge) and Brussel Sprouts. The sprouts had bits of cranberry in it, which really took them to the next level. All of the food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. If you're a tequila drinker (like me) order the Purple Reign! This drink has the perfect amount of lavender. Not too tart and not too sweet. The waiter recommended it and also mentioned the drink was Pharrell's baby. Initially, we thought the restaurant and the pool were all pretty much in the same area, but it is separated. I guess we appreciated that being, we weren't really in the pool party mood after all. Strawberry moon on Sunday nights Every Sunday they have an event called the "Whiskey Wind Down" where they have a live band playing jazz music whole you enjoy delicious whiskey based drinks! I tried the coco old fashioned (delicious) and had the moon bread as an app. For dinner I headed over to the restaurant and tried the gin kiwi and the branzino for an entree and for "dessert" an espresso martini. This spot is located in Miami Beach I would suggest to park in the garage in 7th street. Service was spectacular. For our first course we had the moon bread and meze trio which was divine. The moon bread was tradition Yemenite bread with fig tahini butter, bread was perfectly moist and crispy on the outside. The meze trio consisted of hummus,spicy feta, and pink sultan and came with what I believe was pita bread. For the second course we had yellowtail, A beer and watermelon salad (which was very refreshing), sheftalia (which was lamb and pork sausage with garlic yogurt), and The pizza which is called the godfather. The third course we had what is the branzino, short rib, french fries, crispy brussel sprouts, and prawns. For my favorite we had the baklava ice cream sandwich! So creamy and rich. The Greek Pana Cova was also a refreshing but not that sweet dessert I would also recommend. The hostesses and waiters were super nice and welcoming!
